Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia должна была стать легендарным возвращением серии стратегий к истокам – реальным историческим сеттингам. Variation Pack Reborn
Colorful Buttons
Это также эстетический мод, нацеленный на другую ошибку, замеченную ретивыми поклонниками Total War: отсутствие цвета на кнопках. Добавляя кнопкам цвет, мод делает всю игру гораздо более приятной для глаза.
Bloody Aftermath
Bloody Aftermath придаёт 3D-схваткам кровавости и реалистичности. Кровь на земле уже не исчезает так быстро, чаще бьют фонтанчики крови, изменяется сам её цвет. В моде присутствуют и менее кровавые и жестокие обновления: когда отряды идут или бегут, снег и трава больше не разлетаются в стороны.
Total Variation Enhancer
Мод Total Variation Enhancer вводит множество новых скинов для каждого игрового отряда, представляя более унифицированные вариации лиц, бород и причёсок из разных культур, упомянутых в игре, для достижения более реалистичного облика и различий между солдатами. Например, у фракции Викингов будет больше солдат со светлыми волосами, среди валлийцев прибавится брюнетов и шатенов. Волосы также могут быть уложены по-разному в зависимости от исторического облика народности.
The Last Kingdom ToB
The Last Kingdom ToB вводит в игру уникальные отряды из сериала «Последнее королевство» BBC 2. В него также входят персонажи: Альфред, Утред и Зигфрид вместе с семейными древами, основанными на сериальном лоре. Геймплей под воздействием мода особенно не изменяется, зато появляется отличная возможность для ролевых игр.
NordoPic: Alternative 3D Card Style
The NordoPic: Alternative 3D Card Style (Alpha) заменяет все карточки юнитов другими, более ностальгическими, в стиле Total War Medieval 2 и работает как на карте кампании, так и в боевом 3D-обзоре.
25 Playable Factions
Мод 25 Playable Factions разблокирует все игровые фракции, даже если те, к сожалению, абсолютно неиграбельны. То же самое касается нескольких возможных фракций, изначально необходимых для проведения боя. Мод увеличит время, проведённое вами в игре, ведь теперь у вас будет возможность опробовать новые начала и уникальные задачи, отличающиеся для каждой фракции.
Radious Total War Mod
На мод Radious Total War Mod подписано больше всего человек (по крайней мере, на данный момент), так как он полностью перерабатывает игру. 104 новых стандартных отряда, пересчёт баланса построек и торговли, и многое другое. Мод регулярно обновляется, на настоящий момент проведено более сотни изменений. Следит за ним группа волонтёров, поддержать которых можно в любой момент через Patreon или Paypal.
Better Camera Mod
Мод Better Camera хорошо известен со времён обеих частей Total War: Warhammer тем, что улучшает боевую 3D-камеру. Мод позволяет вам лучше контролировать отдельные функции – например, благодаря ей можно выключить пользовательский интерфейс простым нажатием кнопки «K», или «N» для масштабирования без последующего исчезновения отряда.
Unlimited Governors
Unlimited Governors позволяет вам иметь неограниченное число правителей в завоёванных городах. Мод пользуется огромной популярностью, потому что сама игра устанавливает ограничение в 10 управителей, чем якобы придаёт кампании стратегическую глубину. Это лишено всякого смысла и может очень раздражать. В каком-то смысле этот мод можно назвать читерским, потому что он определённо упрощает игру.
12 Turns Per Year
Этот мод увеличивает количество поворотов за год до 12, эффективно продлевая игру для тех, кому кажется, что кампания слишком коротка и кто хочет испытать её ближе, чем в режиме песочницы. Несмотря на популярность мода, у него есть и противники: некоторые считают, что 12 поворотов в год вредит роли семейного древа, так что качать его или нет – каждый решает по себе.

Этот простой мод позволяет регулировать камеру, по высоте и на расстояние, более подходит для создания скриншотов, а так же для лучшего обзора поля боя.
Горячие клавиши:
Клавиша «K», отключает пользовательский интерфейс для более кинематографического просмотра.
Клавиша «N», увеличивает изображение без исчезновения объектов.
