RE: RHS Escalation
RE: RHS Escalation is a mod of the RE: series that systematically improves one of the most popular addon packs for Arma 3. Admitting the high quality, RHS improves a lot of things with every update, while here I’m trying to address the most annoying flaws that were not fixed for a while.
This mod is completely content-less meaning it contains only the complimentary original code that builds upon the RHS content, not containing any part of it.
Features:
— Groups AFRF factions. Units are accurately grouped into just a few well-equipped factions: VDV, MSV, VV and VMF. Keeping the group and unit classes names intact insures the full compatibility with all the dependent content and scenarios.
— Adds Full-blown VDV (Desert) faction that mirrors VDV with the sand-textured vehicles.
— Revives Eastern Militia independent faction as it was pre-0.4. It may grant compatibility with the older scenarios that used this deprecated faction.
— Universal compatibility of weapon accessories including scopes, silencers, pointers, and bipods. It transforms RHS Escalation into the huge accessory pack you can use with vanilla and modded weapons. This feature utilizes a Slots-to-Rails module from RE that is supplied with this mod.
— Fixes vehicles positioning in AFRF motorized and mechanized groups. In many default groups armored vehicle position overlaps with infantry so it smashes several units on the spawn.
— Most of the units got NVG equipped so you don’t need a script any more for the effective night combat.
— Elcan scopes reconfigured as 3d with the closer look, making it a default option.
— FixesUSF flashlights light to make it usable at 100-150m.
— Adds a missing Harris Bipod sound.
— Adds support for Contact DCL scopes for RHSUSF rifles
— Adds an occupied commander seat to BMP-1K, BMD-1K, BMD-2K
— Increases RPG7 reload amination speed
— Unlocks all Russian scopes support for SVD (was made very selective by RHS)
— Hides some redundant items in arsenal like AK-103-# and 50 shades of pink helicopter pilot helmets with decals.
RE: RHS Escalation is neither a part of nor requires the original RE (Real Engine) and is completely independent from it.

DUWS Modified: RHS Escalation
DUWS (Dynamic Universal War System: Modified), using Red Hammer Studio’s groundbreaking RHS:Escalation Mod (0.3.6).
(You cannot play as the Russian faction in this version of the Scenario, I am currently working on that now, though im not promising it will ever be ready in a playable state. I politley ask that people stop asking about being able to play as the Russians as it is not possible in this version, thank you for your understanding.)
(THE TWO SCENARIOS WILL BE CONTINOUSLY UPDATED AS NEWER VERSIONS OF RHS:ESCALATION ARRIVE)
-Uses Bigshot’s original modification of DUWS, but with RHS: Escalation
-You fight as the United States Armed Forces against the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
-A few custom missions such as destroying a Russian AA Radar defended by SAMs and MANPADs or destroying a grounded Russian Special Forces helicopter
-Ultimatley DUWS at heart, you can play it how you want, either let the AI get on with fighting while you carry out special ops, or lead formations of troops into battle for control of the island.
-One version for woodland vehicles, one version for Desert vehicles. Infantry use OCP in both versions as UCP is being quickley replaced by OCP for use in all environments.
There is another variation of DUWS using Escalation on the workshop, however It’s very different to this version, and I’ve been in close contact with the Dev. you can find the details of the differences in the description of the other version. Issues:
-There are still a few Vanilla Arma 3 vehicles in the request menu, this is to ensure maximum capability, as some roles are not filled by current RHS units. This will no doubt be changed in the future following newer versions of Escalation.
-The ‘Sniper hunt’ mission uses CSAT units for the time being, again, there is no dedicated Sniper unit for Escalation’s Russian factions so CSAT units are filling in as placeholders.
Feedback would be greatly appreciated, especially in regards towards bugfixes, and anything I could potentially do to build upon what Kibot and Bigshot have already laid down.
DISCLAIMER:
I did not create the base versions of DUWS and nor do I claim to, I simply wanted an RHS take on DUWS: Modified and so I decided to modify it for myself, but decided to release it into the community so you could also enjoy it.
I am fully aware that another iteration of DUWS using RHS:Escalation has been released, however my version differs greatly and neither version is a copy of the other, not to mention that I’ve also been in close contact with the developer of that particular version. The similarities stop at the title and the mod used.
Full credit goes to Kibot and Bigshot for the initial work on DUWS and subsequent DUWS Modified and also to the RHS team, for what is undoubtabley one the best total conversion mods for the Arma Series, and to my good friend Tuton the Seventh for his creation of the cover photo and valuable play testing assistance.

FFE MP Training Base RHS Escalation v1.4
FACTIONS: Play as either OPFOR (Russian) or BLUFOR (USA) in basic infantry Fireteam roles. This is a sandbox/testbed for Arma kit, no set missions. just make up your own fun with the available toys.
ZEUS: The training Map is fully Zeus enabled BUT Zeus is ONLY playable with the BLUFOR (US) character (Alpha 2-1) ‘Janitor’. ALL playable characters (regardless of faction) plus all in-mission vehicles can be interacted with by the Zeus/Janitor player. NB It’s not required but do warmly recommend ARES mod to Zeus.
TOYS: Playable examples of ALL key vehicles in US and Russian arsenal as published so-far by RHS (Sep 2015 v.0.3.9). Shoot at live and fixed targets at the main Firing Range (between 100m and 1,200m), or try the Armour Range near the CAS Air Base at the main airport. Practice CQB at the ‘Fish & Chips’ facility. Try artillery, boats or even civilian vehicles. and there are also map annotations and a navigation hub to assist in ‘UO’ inspired map reading exercises.
DEATH: A simple in-game revive script (allowing ANY role, not just a medic) to heal or drag is available, though time-out death or suicide options will cause a respawn back at your chosen faction’s Base.
NAVIGATION: Field Toilets act as Magic Teleports to move individuals around the map, simply mouse-scroll over the WC and select your destination.
