Battlefield 2 – классика шутеров, которой уже исполнилось более 15 лет. За это время сообществу успел надоесть обычный геймплей, а мододелы создали сотни дополнений, от глобальных инсталляций сражений, до небольших графических пакетов.

В данной подборке мы нашли 9 модов, которые могут существенно преобразить геймплей.

Как установить моды

Чтобы установить моды, необходимо найти в папке игры папку «mods», после чего разархивировать в нее мод.

ВАЖНО! Проверьте версию игры перед установкой. Версия игры должна быть не меньше 1.5. Если версия игры ниже – рекомендуется ее обновить, так как большая часть модов идет на версию 1.5, или новее.

Глобальные моды

Project reality

Один из немногих модов, который смог вырасти из небольшого дополнения к battlefield 2 в отдельный проект. Над project reality трудились более 10 лет, а изначальная идея была превратить мультиплеер Battlefield в более сложный и серьезный проект.

Была полностью переработана оригинальная механика игры. Теперь нужно больше внимания уделять тактике, слушаться командиров, правильно выбирать класс под свой стиль игры. Значительно была переработана техника, теперь для полноценного функционирования танка необходимо, как минимум, два игрока.

Project reality полностью оправдал свое название, сделав игру более хардкорной и реалистичной, но почти ничего не оставив от оригинальной игры.

Forgotten hope 2

Еще один глобальный проект, который отличается от оригинала тем, что посвящен второй мировой войне. Разработкой мода занимаются немецкие мододелы, и они подошли к дополнению педантично.

И это не конец, работа над модом ведется и по сей день, в приоритете – создать карты полей сражений на территории советского союза. Разработчики уделяют много внимания истории, и стараются сделать мод как можно ближе к реальным историческим событиям.

Внимание! Играть на серверах с данным модом можно только при наличии оригинальной игры.

IDF: Fight for independence

Мод про шестидневную войну на территориях Ближнего востока. Как правило, эту тему стараются лишний раз не поднимать в играх и модификациях, чтобы избежать обвинений в пропаганде.

Stargate: la releve

А вот этот мод имеет мало схожестей с реальной жизнью. Этот проект – коллаборация вселенной с фильмом «звездные врата». В данном моде добавлены футуристичные модели вооружения и техники, добавлены карты из фильмов.

Кроме того, были изменены модели персонажей, что позволяет поиграть за расы, представленные в сериале.

Мод вышел качественным, и придется по нраву любителям научной фантастики. Разработчики особенно уделили внимание атмосфере, добавив звуки и механики, которые отсутствуют в оригинальной игре.

Моды на снаряжение

Heat of Battle

AIX 2

Мод на мультиплеер, который значительно расширяет игровое пространство, не принося в игру ничего нового. Чисто технически, данный мод – это собранные вместе глобальные моды, рассмотренные выше.

Следует отметить, что в данном моде хорошо постарались над искусственным интеллектом. Теперь боты могут дать реальный отпор в кооперативном режиме.

Сообщество отмечает данный мод, как один из наиболее широких и динамичных в разделе.

Operation peacekeeper

В данном моде много внимания было уделено атмосфере и окружению, а потому дополнение предоставляет большой набор карт, от городов и аэропортов, до небольших поселений в горах.

Графические пакеты

BFHD PRO BF2

Данный мод можно назвать одним из лучших, среди визуальных пакетов. Он включает в себя полностью переработанные текстуры, освещение и тени, добавлены текстуры и модели высокого разрешения. Отдельно проработана вода и влажные поверхности.

Несмотря на объем, визуальный пакет неплохо оптимизирован, что позволяет получать эстетическое наслаждение от игры даже на бюджетных сборках ПК.

Alpha project

Данный мод добавляет, и исправляет многие аспекты, которые разработчики не учли в оригинальной игре. Среди изменений можно найти:

Мод поможет игроку улучшить визуальную составляющую, добавить несколько новых боевых единиц в игру, доработать анимации и улучшить игровой процесс в целом, не заостряясь на конкретных деталях и сеттингах.

Battlefield 2 Iran Conflict Map Pack – Карты

Пак был собран с разных частей и дополнений battlefield. Это те карты, которые подошли к Иран Конфликту. Пак также подходит для любой части Battlefield 2. Для тех, у кого Iran Conflict небольшой сюрприз – карты с Китаем тоже поддерживаются!

*1) Боты. Если вам надоело играть против стандартных ботов, присутствует
самый последний патч на улучшение интеллекта ботов. Что примечательно:
-Улучшенные умения и добавлены более разнообразные тактики ботов
-Боты теперь пользуются минами и дымовыми гранатами!
-Боты-снайперы теперь очень опасны!
-Улучшает интеллект вертолетов, что позволяет им бороться с воздушными целями
(раньше они стреляли только по земле)
Установка: Переместите файлы из папки “AIMOD” из архива в: Папка с игрой/mods/bf2/ с заменой.

Совершенно оболденный маппак для мода Allied Intent Xtended. В паке 30 новых карт. Все карты поддерживают режим синглплеера 16-64 и coop режим.

Новый релиз всемирно известного мода BF2- Eve of Destruction 2 v2.0 Released. В новой версии мода добавленно: новая техника, много новых карт, а так же добавлена новая армия и улучшена графика.

Действие игры происходит осенью 2006 года. Delays, breaks and absence

Very firstly, I wanted to appologize to have left you in doubt all this time. So why I have been absent all this time? There is 2 reasons :

— The main reason is something most of you know : my files. Indeed, after a trip that forced me to leave my desktop computer at home, my files got stuck on a laptop where I had put them while waiting for a new one : The internal hard drive of the computer was too damaged, and it was impossible to recover them. As a result, I lost nearly 40% of my files, mainly from Post-Soviet Conflicts, including all my works on Ukrainians, 2008 Georgians and a lot more.

— The second reason is university. Since I got to university, and that making the same work would take me too much time, I decided to pause the mod, and focus on my studies, at least until I start to get used at this life.

What’s now?

Now, I’m getting back to work on the mod, and even if I lost a lot of my files, I was still doing some works from time to time. However, I have noticed something : Due to the large accumulation of factions (which represent a hundred of them), the mod beacame a litlle unstable with crashes and lags for no reason. Also I have noticed that it could have taken too much time.

Mod update

Ok, I will avoid boring you for a long time. For the occasion, I decided to show you some things new that been have done on the mod, and which was not lost.

Iraq trilogy

This is the basis of the mod, since it is the one we are working on since the first version of the mod. I call it a trilogy because it’s containing three eras : Iran-Iraq War (1980s) Persian Gulf War (1991), and Iraq war (2003-2008).

Poland

Similarly, the Polish are welcoming vehicles for the first time in the mod. So I added a Humvee to them, and a brdm2.

Peshmerga

The Peshmerga have also been changed, not that it forcefully better, but because at the time of 2003, Peshmerga wasn’t so millitarized that it was in the mod. The one you see in the first versions of the mod is like a more modern one. But this more modern Peshmerga will be integrated in «Arab Winter group» in a enhanced way. This one is mainly PUK (Patriotic Union of Kurdistan).

Iraq

Therefore, in addition to receiving new skins, Iraqi army is now reinforced by its military police in Kuwait

United Kingdom

Post Soviet Conflicts

Now, let’s talk about the Post-Soviet conflicts. Since the last article talking about it, I have been adding the requested conflicts as well as some enhancements, but as I said, most of my work on thi group has been lost. Here is what I still got from what i don’t have showed yet :

Russia

Behind United States, Russia will be the second most worked faction in Codename Flashpoint. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, both internal and external conflicts erupted betweens many of its members, and Russia participated in some of them.

Since we added the Tajik civil war, I have decided to put Russia on it, I have then made those skins, inspired by the 201st Motor Rifle Division, who was stattioned in Tajikistan at this time, and even now.

Russia heads textures by Point of Existence 2 mod

I also added them in Dagestan,inspired by Naval Infantry, as you can see the specops.

They also got a specific skin for the First Chechen war, inspired by the army.

Georgia

Abkhazian separatits

To finish, I briefly started the Nagorno-Krabakh War, which is opposing Armenia and NKR (in one faction) from a side, to Azerbaijan. I have made at least one infantryman from both sides, but they’re still in wip.

So, I think that’s all I wanted to show. I said a long time ago that I was preparing a new HUD, it still have to be done.
