Вот в таких случаях на помощь и приходят моды, которым посвящено данное руководство, здесь я не только расскажу как устанавливать модификации на Байонетту, но и покажу где их можно взять, а так же предложу подборку на мой взгляд самых удачных работ в этой области.
Для начала хотелось бы немного поговорить о том, как вообще производится моддинг Байонетты, то есть, как изменяются файлы и создаются моды. Все основные файлы, которые модифицируются (например, костюмы или оружие) находятся в нескольких архивах с расширением *.cpk, в основном это data03.cpk и data12.cpk, которые можно найти в папке data.
Для распаковки этих архивов используется специальная программа Bayonetta DDS Extract Tool, внутри которой можно посмотреть содержимое архива и конвертировать файлы в привычный *.dds, который с помощью плагина можно открыть в фотошопе и отредактировать.
Поздравляю, установка мода закончена! Да, вот так всё просто. Теперь можете зайти в игру и проверить работоспособность мода, если вы уже прошли игру и открыли все костюмы то проще всего проверят моды через меню Extra и просмотр моделей, к тому же в меню глав при выборе костюма их изображения не меняются. Также имейте ввиду, что для корректной работы некоторых модов, например модели Байонетты из второй части, нужен модифицированный exe игры, который можно скачать по ссылке (просто заменяете оригинальный exe на модифицированный, предварительно создав бекап):

Hello again guys. Here’s my latest Bayo mod.
It’s a costume to match the ‘Party Time’ wicked weaves I did previously. If you would like to download them the link is here
So for this one I’ve recoloured the front of the hat in dark grey and
white stripes and the back of the hat and the hair in dark pink.
The main body of the costume has been left black.
The skirt panels have been recoloured in dark grey and white, there are a
couple of imperfections in the panels but a quick check on the original
showed that they were already present.
The gloves and thigh boot sections have been recoloured in lime green and dark pink and I’ve made the eyelets and lacing black.
As a finishing touch I’ve also made the hat ribbon pink.
