ИИ фактически научился генерировать данные на основе уровней Beat Saber, созданных людьми. Вот как разработчики Крис Донахью и Абхай Агарвал объясняют это: «Beat Sage использует две нейронные сети для сопоставления аудиофайла с вероятным уровнем Beat Sabre. Первая нейронная сеть прослушивает аудио и предсказывает, в какие моменты времени следует размещать блоки. Вторая нейронная сеть просматривает прогнозируемые моменты времени и сопоставляет каждую метку времени с типом блока (например, красный вверх, синий вниз, красный вверх + синий вниз)».

I appreciate your effort and I am sure you put a lot work into this. But isn’t the official editor just comming out very soon? I mean, I am not sure if your work gets the deserved attention now. For me, I will just wait a week I think to use the official one, but I hope you will excite some poeple. 🙂 Keep on!

This is a great work and idea.
But my problem with it is almost all song are only expert (or rather insane) mode only. I can’t play expert mode due to shoulders injury, even though I wish I could. The few song that have hard mode are more looking like expert than hard. It is fan made so you can feel the problem in the beat not following the music or the direction being all other the place.
Also I noticed that the beat sound is higher than the music track and for some musics it does not sounds good at all. Some musci are great with the beat sound. Some are not.
Though it is a great work and it is amazing you came up with it in such a short time. And knowing the Beat Sabers dev are following your work is a great plus. The discord comunity is very nice and helpful too!
I look forward for possibility to have songs availaible in hard and other mode other than expert (I wonder if a beat generator coudl be made by your awesome team). As as point/ranking.

most people that seriously play the game eventually find expert easy and boring on the regular songs. It’s fantastic how hard and different most of the custom songs are. I know it sucks for your shoulder but I hate to break it to you, you are the minority. Shouldn’t be playing basketball with a busted knee. Also the creators of custom songs usually make a version they find fun and challenging. Most of the time they are highly skilled at the game. Imagine making a level that you play later to realize how dull it is for you. The creator of the custom song is making it more for themselves than other people as they are not making money (maybe recognition)
I will have to disagree on some point: There is actually around same number of players playing hard moe than expert. Though I agree, expert is more fun, the problem with the creator of beat saver is their issues with level scaling. The «hard» song are more of Expert/expert++ and expert song are expert++++ (PS: I can play 2 of vanilla expert song now so I can compare).
Though I must say they offer possibility for feedback and comment on song to help creators to improve.
I found only 3 song so far that fits perfectly and are made with care: Flyers, imperial march and I expect you to die (very original and fitting scheme try it)
So I hope we will see more of these creators.
I do not think they only make the song for themselves. I think some care about sharing a nice and fun experience. But if you read the comments, many complained about the diffuiclty and some songs not being fun.
We should just say what is real. The creators need to improve. It does not mean they are bad. Just there is a need for a new level name (aka Insane for example) and a more polished experience. Many songs are messy at the moment.
But this is just my observation and opinion. The program is great and some of the songs are superb. And I look forward to what they make in the future after the program and creator have improved.

What is Beast Saber?
The goal of Bsaber is to help make finding fantastic Beat Saber maps to play easier. It does this by categorizing the thousands of songs on beatsaver.com and lets you sort by a song’s genre and many other attribute tags. It also has a full social feature where players can review songs and comment on them.
One of the most used features is the “Curator Recommended” feature where a team plays through most songs released each day and recommends the ones that stand out, letting you automatically download these in-game.

Main Site Features
1. Curator Recommendations
The Curator Recommended (CR) section on the site is an hourly updated list of all of the best maps that come out each day. These maps have been tested and analyzed by a trained Bsaber Curator and approved for quality. You might not enjoy the genre or artist of ALL of these maps, but at least the mapping will be high quality.
If you have the BeatSync mod installed, you can have all of the maps that receive a curator recommendation automatically downloaded when you launch Beat Saber along with having a playlist of all of them created.
2. Genre Tagging
Bsaber analyzes and links to multiple databases to find out the genre of a map. If a match isn’t found, we also have a tagger team that will help add tags to songs. When you’re browsing maps, you can filter by a specific genre so that you can find maps to play, with music that you love.
3. Top Trending Maps
3. Top Trending MapsWhen you click on “Songs” from the menu bar, you’ll have the ability to browse the top trending maps for a specific time period. This uses an algorithm that analyzes reviews, upvotes and downvotes, play counts, etc. to reveal top trending maps. You can narrow this down to show specific difficulties, like the top “Expert” songs or top “Rock” songs that came out in the past week, month, etc. You can also filter the list to show maps that have been Curator Recommended (CR) or have been Ranked (R).
4. Map Reviews
4. Map ReviewsOpen a map’s page to see the reviews that have been left for that map. In the song below, the song has an average score of 4.5 / 5 from 41 reviews.
The first score that you’ll see is an average score of the 6 criteria from all reviewers.
Many of these reviewers left a review in-game and didn’t type anything out. If you scroll down, you can then see individual written reviews left by bsaber users from the site.

5. Playlists
Playlists have been a HUGE part of bsaber since the beginning. We wanted a way to recreate the magical experience we had when we launched Beat Saber for the first time (before modding was even a thought). The game sent players through a playlist of one amazing map after the other. When we first got custom maps working, they were (and still are) so “hit or miss” that they never provided quite that same experience.
Playlists change that so you can load up a curator created playlist and just enjoy the songs, one after the other, and experience quality mapping all the way through.
If it’s your first time learning about playlists, download all of the “Songs with Fantastic Flow” playlists, our BSMG 100k Contest playlist and the BSMG Anniversary Song Pack playlist first.
For the last two mentioned, many of the top mappers in our community came together to map an amazing all new playlist of songs in ALL difficulties, so that all players could equally enjoy the packs.
6. Follow Favorite Mappers
We initially built all of the bsaber social features just so that we could build this one feature. If you find a mapper that you consistently enjoy, click on their name or search for it and on their profile, click on the “follow” button.
You can then see a list of all the maps that come out of ONLY the mappers that you follow. If you have the BeatSync mod installed, you can have these songs automatically downloaded in-game and a custom playlist created for you of all of them automatically.
7. Create Your Own Playlists
BeatDrop 2 is an amazing tool we helped build to make creating playlists and managing your existing songs easier. It connects with Bsaber to easily open any song, download it, add it to a playlist, etc. Go here for a full BeatDrop 2 tutorial and to download it.

Иногда после обновления последняя версия Mod Assistant может технически не поддерживать последнюю версию Beat Saber. В этом случае Mod Assistant должен предупредить вас, что ваша версия Beat Saber новее, чем та, которую поддерживает программа. Следует также спросить, хотите ли вы продолжить в любом случае. В основном, пользователям все равно удавалось продолжать процесс с последней поддерживаемой версией Beat Saber, выбранной в Mod Assistant, даже если она не полностью соответствует версии, которую они установили.
3. Дождитесь окончания установки модов.
После завершения установки модов вы готовы установить несколько пользовательских карт.
Установить пользовательские песни
Если вы не изменили ни одну из предустановленных модификаций мода, Mod Assistant должен был установить инструмент, который позволит вам искать и устанавливать пользовательские карты в игре. Как загрузить треки в beat saber?
Приветствую. Поиграл тут в beat saber и решил залить туда еще музыки, но тут начались проблемы.
Решил глянуть в гугле да на ютубе как оно делается. В итоге надо ставить плагины, причем кто какие ставит.
Понакачал плагины, поставил как было написано, либо оно не работает, либо в поиске треков пишет «неизвестный HHTP»
Может кто подскажет как залить свою музыку?

Качал, может серваки легли или какие то тех проблемы?
@IAesh в комментариях ниже указал, что с серверами были проблемы. Попробуйте сегодня снова. Если не получится, тогда уже будем бить в бубен и шаманить.
Все работает, видимо я вчера просто очень вопремя ставил всё, когда сервак лежал. Я могу, умею. Спасибо еще раз за разъяснение)

Galactic Rangers VR update 1.2.1 в Стиме
Всем привет! Мы небольшой командой (трое) пилим рельcовый шутер для VR! Недавно запустили обновление, где добавили контент (врагов, карту, спецэффекты) и исправили много всяких багов. Простится трейлер на суд общественности:
В игре мы решили переосмыслить старые добрые скролл-шутеры или как их еще называли Shoot’em up, наверняка старики помнят такие классные игры как Tyrian, Raptor, DemonStar ну и много их было и на консолях и на пека.
Играя на уровне эксперт мы сами не проходили и ни разу еще и не видели человека кто может ее пройти, играется очень хардкорно. Возможно кто то скажет «вот такого в виаре пруд пруди!» но мы знаем только о двух похожих аналога: space pirate trainer и vr invaders и то они стоячие, то есть там игрок никуда не двигается и стоит на месте. Все остальное если и есть, то в совершенно другом сеттинге, однако если у вас есть примеры будем рады увидеть.
В планах выпустить Galactic Rangers VR весной в окулус сторе, чем собственно сейчас и занимаемся. Возможно в будущем получится выпустить игру в PSVR.

В продолжение поста Кажется, озарение пришло ко мне раньше времени, где мое нытье об отстойности современных игр заканчивалось фразой
. видимо, через какое-то время я пойму, как себя чувствуют все эти богатые пенсионеры под ручку с размалёванными 20-летними профурсетками, когда будут играть в Героев2 в Oculus Rift.
Как это ни смешно, но я сделяль.
Если кому интересно, полностью работают в Steam VR при помощи пары костылей:
GTA 2 выбрасывает ошибку видеодрайвера при любых раскладах, хотя без VR в режиме совместимости с Виндовс95 вполне работает.
В Dungeon Keeper 2 не работают контроллеры. Точнее работают на нажатие, но не двигают руку Хранителя. Можно мышой рулить, но это не так весело.
