Here comes the long awaited Nether Update for Brixel! And it works with Minecraft 1.17.1!
The 1.3 is our biggest update so far and focuses almost entirely on Nether. We’ve added around 105 new assets to the resource pack, everything in Brixel-style!
Here is a short summary:After entering the Nether Portal, adventurers will discover their well-known, yet different fiery Nether domain. The vanilla blocks won’t be there anymore, as the’ve been exchanged with their Brixel counterparts!
Delving throughout the Nether, you will encounter freshly textured common blocks like Netherrack or Nether Crystal, as well as some rare findings like Gilded Blackstone or Nether Gold Ore.
You will also find yourself in the Crimson and Warped biomes where the custom modelled, bricky Roots, Fungi and Hyphae grow. Use them to craft new stuff that has been textured as well.
You will also be able to craft the new Netherite tools!
As the theme of the update is pretty hot, we’re also bringing the new animated Brixel Fire and Soul Fire! We are really happy with the result, let us know if you like it too!
We’ve also been asked to alter some of the previuosly textured blocks. Coal Ore and Iron Ore have been reworked, so that they’re easier to distinguish now.

Brixel turns Minecraft into world made of tiny bricks, similar to those that many of us remember from our childhood!
Each block has been given a new dimension, by transforming it into a Brixel – a cube built of many small 3d elements (brick-pixels). Those little bricks come in different forms and lie on different layers, creating depth and «mosaique» structure on the blocks. Each Brixel has been designed individually, resembling the looks and purpose of the original blocks.Brixel aims to give a unique and never-before-seen aesthetics to the Minecraft world, but still keep the vanilla Minecraft feel.

In order to work, Brixel requires installation of the newest version of Optifine, as well as one of the shaders mentioned above.

MineBricks Resource Pack 1.17 / 1.16
With so many resource packs being released daily, it is difficult to find something original or refreshing. MineBricks resource pack is the exception from the rule. It is the resource pack that many Minecraft players have hoped for to be created. What makes it so spectacularly refreshing is the fact that it is inspired by LEGOs. Even if it is not a licensed resource pack, it is very loyal to the way LEGO bricks look but have been successfully adapted and integrated into the Minecraft world. To make the world of Minecraft look as if it is made of LEGO bricks, MineBricks fiddles around with textures, colors, and lighting effects. The most considerable amount of work was invested into textures. Textures for almost all the blocks in the game have been changed. They are now made of solid colors that are considerably more vibrant. The removal of the details in textures also removes scatter and noise. It changes the textures for coal, gold, iron, diorite, gravel, snow, sand, stone, dirt, and many more types of blocks. It also changes the textures for trees, leaves, grass, and different types of flowers. All these changes make the environment look like it is made from LEGO bricks as well as the trees and plants. The MineBricks texture pack goes beyond the standard textures for blocks and it introduces new textures for mobs and critters as well. It also adds new textures for windows, paintings, and other objects in the game.

Итак, пак крайне интересен, тем более что на данный момент в нем заменено очень много текстур, пак более чем играбелен, автор регулярно выпускает обновления. Все текстуры это 3D арты, их объемность реализуется исключительно за счет шейдеров, без это просто плоские блоки, красивые и стильные конечно же. Объемность реализована за счет дополнительных слоев текстур, так называемых карт глубины, шейдер не ориентируется по картам глубины, отражения, рассеивания и понимает как необходимо преобразовать свет на данном блоке, а так же каким образом деформировать части текстуры блока, таким образом блок становится объемным.
Пак шикарно смотрится на всех скриншотах, к сожалению, в игре «вау эффект» немного уменьшается, но все равно впечатляет.
