Carmageddon max damage моды
Hello!
Here is a good list of Max Damage Mods that will improve your carmageddon experience!
I recommend you first to play the game Vanilla and unlock all the cars! then install these wonderful Mods/tools/tweaks
—> http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1087771963
Changed values allow you to see powerups, vehicles and peds at maxed LOD and detail. See clear across the level with no annoying pop-ups
— Improved damage balance. Offense is increased in your car and decreased on your opponents. You can still be wrecked but it’s not as frustrating as before.
— Say goodbye to unfair and cheap deaths when hitting a wall after being rubbed or hit by an opponent. The wall-ricochet effect that dealt ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥s of damage to your car has been reduced to a tiny % of what it used to be, increasing survivavility by a great amount (your opponents can benefit as well)
(. )
— Car splitting is 50% harder to pull off. It felt a bit easy and fake before, but now it feels as an accomplishment when you pull it off, as in Carmageddon 2.
(. )
Found the link to Damage Tweaks by Psyrgery if anyone is looking for it with no luck:

Edit: Also make sure you’re not trying to install the Mingeset files as mods, they aren’t mods, they’re just presets for enabling all the mods quickly and you load it through the presets area after the mods have been installed.

Carmageddon: Max Damage Windows game
Carmageddon: Max Damage
Stainless Games | Released 2016
Carmageddon: Max Damage is the latest instalment in the legendary Carmageddon series. Carmageddon is the driving sensation where pedestrians (and cows) equal points, and your opponents are a bunch of crazies in a twisted mix of automotive killing machines. It’s the ultimate antidote to racing games!!
PLUS! You can relive all the mangling mayhem with the built-in Action Replay System. Featuring multiple choice of cameras and replay options – it’ll mean you never miss a pile-up again! Get your movies online and brag about your ped culling achievements. And there will be plenty of THOSE too – Achievements, Challenges and Collectables to hunt down, that’ll keep the whole family entertained for hour upon happy blood and oil splattered hour.
The Car Is The Star! Carmageddon: Max Damage features a wide and varied range of cool, crazy, custom killing machines; each with its own highly distinctive “character”. Carmageddon cars are specifically built for the job in hand – wrecking opponents and killing peds! Nearly 20 years ago the original Carmageddon invented the whole concept of videogame physics and real-time damaging of cars and scenery, and so it’s obviously been our responsibility to bring this technology BANG up-to-date with a brand new state of the art car damage (and repair) system. Crush, bend, twist, and completely mangle your opponents’ and your own car – smash parts off, or split it in two; the original game was all about wrecking motors and pummelling pedestrians, and today we take this to a whole new level! Power, Armour, and Offensive upgrades are available for your car, along with other customising options, allowing you to personalise the killing capabilities of your rides.
A host of old favourites from the original Carmageddon make a comeback, along with some all-new faces. Only ever seen before as low resolution mugshots, now you get to see them from head to toe (well, head to knees in the case of Screwie) in full HD 3D glory – usually as they smash through their windscreen and hurtle past (or INTO) yours!
The new environments are amalgamations of the best bits from the numerous chunks of landscape that we all loved to tear around in Carmageddon. “Bleak City”, «Devil’s Canyon», “Dusty Trails”, “MagNuChem” and «Snowy» levels all return in updated forms, with their memorable landmark features such as the Loop ’de’ Loop, acid pits and Football Stadium. Everything is reassuringly surreal; hell, we’ve even managed to incorporate a giant food mixer into a level!
The topography and detail in the locations is updated and enhanced, with even more fun stuff to smash into, smash up, snap off, and send careening into the poor pedestrian population. “Nice Shot Sir!” And talking of pedestrians…
Once again, the game features a varied mix of adult pedestrians of all ages, shapes, persuasions and species. Classic pedestrians are back, such as old lady on a Zimmer frame and old man with his stick, with their famous cry “I was in the war!”, plus bikini babes and swimming trunk hunks, fat bastards, and herds of cows in improbable locations. Joining them are some new faces – including cyclists, wheelchair users and peds on mobility scooters. Carmageddon is an equal opportunities ped slaughterfest!
PowerUps are back and this time they’re even funnier, surrealier, hurtier, and messier than ever! Lots of the classic PUps return in super-enhanced form, such as Repulsificators, Kangaroos & Solid Granites. Then we have all new PUps like «Pelvic Thrust» and a variety under the heading “Tossers”! Combine PUps to create hilarious combo results like Groovin’ Helium Filled Peds, or Peds without legs at a Temporary Rapture!

Carmageddon 1
Mods for Carmageddon 1
There are few actual modifications for Carmageddon 1 that aren’t cars, peds or packs. I’ll put uncommon stuff in here. Don’t forget to read the readme’s, as unusual mods might imply unusual install processes etc. 🙂
The MELD PACK v1.3.4
Famous Carmageddon 1 + Splat Pack meld pack! By JeReMiZ, QTZ and myself. Widely used, it’s been recently updated! More infos here.
An early Figure Of Hate net race by Stainless but it didn’t make it to the final game. Brought to you by QTZ.
A palette mod trying to approximate colors as displayed by a CRT monitor.
This palette mod will turn your game into a SinCity look-alike. Eaasy to install and to remove. Good stuff.
Sodburbs (beta track)
This is a beta track that evolved into the snowy town track. It’s horrible. Desert3 beta is included too, and I offer no support for this 🙂 You must know how to install it yourself.
Little part of GTA1 Liberty City turned into a Carma race. Features the camera block trick.
Excerpt of the Splat Pack Castle to showcase the use of ‘last lap’ funks to swap decors in Carmageddon 1. Turns into Doom.
Simple arena to showcase the use of the rain trick and animated sky. Requires Splat Pack or Meld Pack.
Restored Hires Eagle
An attempt at restoring the original hires skin of the red Eagle.
Updated textures for the original APC.
Simple level showing what can be achieved with blend tables.
Add-on Cars for Carmageddon 1
Adding new cars to Carmageddon is the most common modding players do. Here you’ll find all sorts of models to download, from conversions from other games (including Carmageddon 2, TDR 2000 and PSX) to my own models or stuff made by other authors I ported into Carmageddon. Add-on cars for C1 had a boom in the late 2000s, the process to make a C1 car is more complicated and less documented than the C2 equivalent. Be sure to read the included readme’s before installing.

Something big from Carmageddon 2 with C1 textures.
Demake of the C2 bus. Got it a bit closer to its original design while keeping the overal skin.
Such an obvious mod!
Beroc’s Iron Horse ported from TDR to C1. Quite a good addon 🙂

Another work by The Joker. Helped him put it ingame. It comes with an alt. Rigor Mortis skin:

Derp version of the Stiletto, based on a drawing by Agent Orange.

The car from Ben 10 apparently. Don’t remember where the model come from. Made it orange because C1 hates green.
Not much to say! The Blue Falcon from F-Zero GX with fancy thruster fx and floating stance.
Standard MR, Mario Kart DS
Default kart from Mario Kart DS. Physics are a tad difficult.

The UFO wagon from the hippie camp in GTA5. ‘s all.
What if Twister was ‘normal’? Comes with a hires skin for Twister as well.
A cool model for C1 by Mad Maxine, and I felt like porting it to C1 🙂
Nemixis CD 12.0 xl-XGT
A famous model by SupermotoXL. It has around 23k triangles and uses a 2048² texture. Thus not for Glide mode!
This C2 model by Autopilot was a dear favourite of mine back in the day. Decided to bring it to C1!
Another model by FatCat, a futuristic Fraud Broko this time. So I ported it ingame as well.
A fine silver Countslash made by FatCat, so I ported it ingame. Futuristic.
This is CADster’s BloodMixer, originally made in 2001 for TDR2000. Nice and proper port to C1 😉
Agent_Orange made an insanely huge truck, did my best to put it ingame. Really long. Updated in 2013. Comes with a highres skin for Leadpumper!
The hearse from Mafia 2. Ported to C2 by Pip The Pest, then I ported it to C1. Comes with a Flower Power skin!
Tashita 2 from Carma 2.
I reworked most textures to make them more compliant with the C1 palette.
Twister+Bugutti. An idea from Fat Cat. Just a mashup really.
Hilarious model by Mad_Maxine. Ported it to Carmageddon 1 for more lulz. Great suspensions = great fun.
Port from Fallout 3. Higher polycount than usual but looks good. Features an attempt at manual crush datas.
Original C2 model by Chevelle. Looked like it was made for C1 so I ported it to C1.
This is the noncar from the MagnaChem ice station. Made it a proper standalone car. Animated hook in cockpit view.
This model was a ‘prop wall’ from a WOLF3D mod called Trench Warfare. Used it to test a couple novelty features (flic anims on cars, fake smash).
This is the re-release of CWR’s Chrome God which was also the first official add-on released by SCi. Now it’s a standalone and has its bugs fixed.
Original model by Mad_Maxine, ported to C1 by myself. Lots of windows 🙂
The original Project X model updated with the 2005 texture from Stainless. Sexy!

Exported from the PSX version by Errol. Quite a mix of musclecar stereotypes 🙂
Exported from the PSX version by Errol. This one is kinda duller IMO.
Exported from the PSX version by Errol. A weird item, who would put rims like that on a hot rod pickup?
Murky Marauder (PSX)
Exported from the PSX version by Errol. A nice addition. Lot of people like it.
Exported from the PSX version by Errol. Probably the best unique PSX car, features a cockpit image too!
Exported from the PSX version by Errol. Not bad, had to tweak it a bit as the green isn’t C1’s favorite color.
Exported from the PSX version by Errol. A weird one, really
Custom ’42 Jeep CJ-2A
Clearly my best work so far. Fully featured add-on, built around a very tiny texture. Might not be good for Glide mode.
TTR’s superb work. I gladly did the C1 setup.
Econobrick’s Eagle MK1
I thought it wasn’t to much of a bad idea to put Econobrick’s Eagle into C1. Too bad it doesn’t deform heh.
TTR’s Diablo was never finished. As I had the model I put it ingame.
Abba Cab from C2. Fits C1 nicely?!
The Monster Beetle from C2. I fixed a lot of errors on the model in the process.
Hehe. Cones from C2. Peds from C1. What’s going on in that van?
One of my favourite creation. I find it hilarious. Fun to drive too! Based on an idea by TTR 🙂
Another fun add-on. Animated corpses being towed :B
Quite a creative item as well. Not sure how it looks in Glide mode. It’s very small and doesn’t go too fast. Great for killing peds hehe.
From Interstate ’76. I had to remake that car from scratch (but the textures). Has interior and all. Super fun.
From Carmageddon 2. It can be seen in the opening video but isn’t actually part of the game?! Fixed now!
Hawk/Eagle MK3 beta
The early Eagle MK3 concept made it into C2 as the Hawk MK3. Decided to port them to C1. Good stuff.
After C2 I ported it to C1, a true gem. Looks nice in Glide mode too. From GTA3 by the way. Had to be yellow for C1. Added cockpit from Quarantine!
Superb item for C1. Originaly made by Freddy for C2. I optimized the model A LOT.
Another superb item for C1. Originaly made by Freddy for C2. I optimized the model A LOT too.
TTR’s take on the Red Bat from Mad Max. The model was nice but I had to optimize it a lot. Won’t work in Glide.
I quickly remade this beast from TDR2000. Overlooked IMO. Won’t work in Glide though.
TTR’s port of JAWS from TDR 2000. I optimized the model and put it ingame. Won’t work in Glide mode.
Another TDR 2000 port by TTR. Once again I lowered the polycount and put it ingame. Screws are animated ofcourse.
The New Suppressor
I had made the TDR New Suppressor for C2, so I ported it to C1. Not sure it will work in Glide mode. Doesn’t replace the C1 Suppressor.
The Wastemaro is an early C2 concept that didn’t make it ingame. TTR remade it and I ported it to C1 (after optimisation).
Birdy was a very early C2 concept but never went further. I remade it completely. A true gem IMO. Fan is animated etc.
Every Carma has its Limey. From TDR, because the model came with the SDK :B Won’t work in Glide mode. Animated.
The Jet is actually an official Stainless item. It was replaced by Tashita. But they hid the textures in a pixpack and the model amongst the files. This is the standalone item I put together 🙂
The Robin is a Stainless car that ended up stuck in a block of ice at the bottom of the Hell level. Standalone item I did out of it!
C1 Port of AdR’s model I had put in C2. Comes from the game Fuel Of War 🙂 Custom cockpit image btw.
A superb DMC model by Ikraan. I did the C1 setup and I really recommend this item 🙂

Original model by Milki for the Low Poly Challenge #2 at MaxArea.com. I did the C1 port.
Ported the C2 Eagle MK3 to C1 🙂 Shouldn’t have diffused the palette colors with the textures but oh well.
One of my first quick lowpoly model. First made for C2 then put into C1. Looks good but not very Carmageddonish.
Decided to port the Combine APC into C1 too. Had to optimize a lot and simplify the model. From Half-Life 2 uh.
Wow what a great beast! I like this car. It’s from TDR2000. Remade it and proceeded so that it animates correctly ingame etc. Fun to drive, fun to kill!
I ported my Fleshovl to C1. Had to remove Alicia for polycount coherence.
Quite a good looking car in C1! I prefer my little R5 in there rather than C2 I think.
My second car ever, ported it into C1 as my first C1 add-on. Looks really good in there, a bit too big though.
