Champions Manager Mobasaka Guide: Tips & Tricks for Dummies

Welcome to the dummies guide on how to get stronger in Champions Manager Mobasaka. Here are some tips and tricks on how to progress further into the game, increasing your team’s overall power and some basic strategies on getting better at the game.

Plan your lineup before playing a match

Before attempting any kind of match, always check your team’s lineup (Main Menu->Lineup). It shows your team’s overall power, your starter players and your bench players. You will also have 3 different lineups to set your team (1 Default lineup, 2 Substitute lineups). If you tap and hold any player, you will see a green glowing effect on some of the starter players at the lineup. These are the recommended positions for that particular player so always use that as a guideline whenever you are placing your players to different positions. If you put a player in the wrong position, it will reduce your team’s overall power.

There are also other things you need to take note of while setting up your lineup:

Tactics

As for tactics, you can change tactics for your team before and during a match. Whenever you want your team to go into the offensive or defensive is up to you.

Make sure to always save your lineup once you are done setting up.

Play the Career matches first

I advise doing the Career matches as far as you can. Each match has its own recommended power and special clearance. If your team’s overall power is lower than the recommended power for that match, it is better to strengthen your players instead. The higher the power difference between your’s team overall power and the match’s recommended power, the higher the success chance for each action. Also, try to complete each match with 3-stars (Completing Special Clearance matches or achieving 3 more points than your opponent). This is because you will get to unlock the Rush mode where you can spend your sweep tickets to instantly clear the match.

Here are some of the other types of matches that you can do daily:

Check the success chance for each action

During the match, there is a chance for a ‘Heroic Moment’. This is where that particular player will be given a variety of actions to choose from like long/short pass to another player or dribble past opponent players. Each action will have a success chance so always go for the action that has the highest success chance. When your player is about to score, you will see the success chance of scoring at the top left side of the screen. You can actually increase the success chance by dragging your finger towards the empty net.

I would say that anything above 65% is a good chance to succeed an action but anything lower than that is quite risky as every failure action cause your player to lose possession to the ball or miss a shot. On a side note, you can use your substitute players to replace any starting player if you wish but you can only do so 3 times per match.

Skipping the entire match using mob(sweep) tickets

If you are too lazy to watch/play the entire match, you can actually tap the ‘skip’ button and the match will automatically end. This will likely end up with a victory or a defeat based on your team’s overall power. I would suggest doing so if you want as it will be a timesaver. Do not worry if you lose the match as only 2 points of stamina will be deducted instead of 10. 1 sweep ticket will be used if you skip a match.

Strengthening your players

There are multiple ways to strengthening your players, increasing its power:

Obtaining A-SS rank players

There are multiple ways to obtain high rarity players in the game. The first one is by using the transfer market (Main Menu->Market). This is where you can purchase different players using Euros (Coins). This is the best way to obtain A rank players. I also suggest buying players who have a ‘Player Letter’ icon above it. You will need these players for the ‘Player Letter’ missions which we will cover later. If you want you can also refresh the player list if you want for 3 times daily.

You can access the ‘Player Letter’ missions from the Career (Main Menu->Journey->Career->Player Letter). This is where you are given different tasks like raising the following players to the highest level and more. Completing a task will reward you with a player (Usually B-S rank players) which is why you need players who have a ‘Player Letter’ icon in order to raise them.

If you have Gems, save them until you have about 2000 of them. This is where you can use the 10x Draw ‘Recruit’ from the Store (Main Menu->Store->Recruit->10x Draw). You will be guaranteed an S rank player if you do so.

Stadium

You will be given access to the Stadium (Main Menu->Stadium) where you can upgrade different facilities:

Add friends and join a Guild

I recommend adding as many friends as you can. This is because the more friends you have, the more energy that you can collect/send + more friendship points you can collect/send. These friendship points can be used for the ‘Friendly Recruit’ at the Shop where you have a chance to obtain an A rank player.

If you have not done so, I advise joining a Guild as soon as you can. You will get to unlock certain Guild features such as:

Login daily and do all the Tasks

Even if you do not play this game often, I would suggest to at least log in every day to check out the Events. This is where you can do event quests and collect free rewards every day like the ‘Daily Sign-in’ and the ‘Cumulative Login’. Focus on doing the daily tasks for EXP, energy and sweep tickets since they will reset daily. Once you are done you can do the Novice and Main Tasks for more rewards if you want.
