Description:
Adds runways and taxiways to the airport menu.
Runway has the same cost as Highway road.
Taxiway has the same cost as Small road.
This mod doesn’t change the planes AI in any way and never will. It was never intended to let the planes land on them. The fact that they do is a pure accident.
Those are not new types of roads.
The code to build those roads already exists in the game. The buttons to select and build them simply don’t exists. All this mod do is adding those missing buttons. As a result :
This mod can be removed at any time. The roads built with this mod will remain.
Those airports don’t have the default runways. This lets you build your very own with the help of my mod. Planes will land and will service these airports if connected properly. Make sure there is a valid path. The behavior of the planes however can be very unrealistic.

Тяжело представить себе крупный мегаполис регионального масштаба без собственного аэродрома. Ведь путешествия по воздуху, позволяют избежать препятствий и добраться до точки назначения, в максимально короткий срок. Сегодня мы расскажем вам всю информацию, о авиапутешествиях в Cities Skyline.
Строительство аэродрома
Первым этапом для воздушных путешествий станет правильный выбор карты. При создании «Новой игры», обратите внимание на раздел «Внешние связи». Ни все игровые карты имеют возможность строительства аэропорта.
На старте «Новой игры» обратите внимание на присутствующие внешние связи
Авиапутешествия открываются не сразу. Они откроются после достижения статуса «Мегаполис» (достигнуть численности население 44000). Кроме того, в вашем распоряжении должен быть большой участок ровной земли, без резких перепадов высот и холмов.
Для строительства аэропорта, перейдите в раздел «Общественный транспорт», он расположен меню строительства. Затем откройте вкладку «Воздушное сообщение» и выберете аэропорт.
Тщательно выберете место, ведь аэродрому нужно очень много свободного пространства!
Разновидности воздушного сообщения
В Cities Skyline можно встретить несколько типов аэродромов.
Пассажирские
Главной задачей воздушного сообщение является перевозка пассажиров. Для этого, в Cities Skyline присутствует аэропорт. Здание позволяет вашим гражданам путешествовать в далекие города и страны. Аэропорт имеет одну взлетно-посадочную полосу, что значительно ограничивает его пропускную способность.
Для увеличения потока туристов, аэропорт станет отличным решением
Для крупных мегаполисов в игре присутствует «Международный аэропорт». Здание обладает 2-мя взлетно-посадочными полосами, 11 терминалами и собственной станцией метро. Постройка позволяет увеличить транспортный поток вашего города. Для строительства, городу необходим статус «Мегалополис» и 65000 жителей.
Кульминацией развития пассажирского воздушного сообщения станет «Городской аэропорт». Добавили его, относительно недавно, вместе с обновлением «Sunset Harbor». Городской аэропорт — это транспортный узел, который имеет:
Иногда можно столкнуться с проблемой, когда над аэродромом кружит большое количество пассажирских авиалайнеров. Решить ее можно, путем строительства дополнительных аэродромов. Ведь самолетам, просто негде сесть!
Грузовые
Вторые в очереди, но не по значению! Грузовые самолеты позволяют импортировать/экспортировать товары, грузы и сырье за максимально короткий срок. Продажа товаров по воздуху позволит вам:
Cargo airport открывается вместе с гражданским аэропортом. Имеет одну взлетно-посадочную полосу и не способен поддерживать интенсивную нагрузку.
Наиболее эффективным выбором станет крупный грузовой аэропорт. Здоровяк имеет встроенное железнодорожное сообщение, что значит два в одном! Кроме того, он способен обслуживать до 3-х самолетов одновременно.
Крупный грузовой аэропорт станет незаменимым приобретением для обширных промышленных зон и комплексов
Грузовые аэродромы имеют те же самые проблемы, что и пассажирские. Если самолёты кружат над аэропортом, то есть смысл задуматься о дополнительных посадочных полосах. Порой может сложиться впечатление, что самолёты не приземляются, но это не так. Они просто ждут своей очереди.
Легкомоторные
В последнем дополнении Sunset Harbor разработчики добавили частные воздушные экскурсии. Организует их «Авиаклуб». Для его строительства перейдите во вкладку «Уникальные сооружения», затем в раздел «Уникальные сооружения 5 уровня». Достопримечательность позволяет жителям и гостям города отправиться в улетное воздушное путешествие на легкомоторных самолетах.

Airport Radar Tower inspired from Oxford Airport, London.
This was one my old asset ideas but when I created before it was static model so I was not happy with it. But now it has rotating radar! 🙂 I hope your airports will look better with this little.

International Airport

The International Airport can only be built on flatten terrain. If you have trouble placing it, use the anarchy function of Fine Road Anarchy.
Thanks to BloodyPenguin all six gates are used by the airplanes now. Each map has an outside connection limit of 4. That means only 4 gates will be used by the airplanes. To get all 6 gates to work, use Unlimited Outside Connections to place more plane paths with outside connections (there should be six at least).
If you don’t want to place all the taxiways and runways by yourself or just want to use an awesome and realistic airport layout, try out the International Airport Layout by creativeDEX.
