Крайне простой и безотказный способ — если стандартные методы по какой-то причине не работают.

Казалось бы — в стандартном способе установки модов на TW и RA3 нет ничего сложного, но всё равно встречаются случаи, когда он отказывается работать.
Kane’s Wrath же вообще официально моды не поддерживает, что требует установки стороннего лаунчера (а с ним проблемы возникают у каждого третьего).

Это всё и побудило написать данный небольшой гайд.

1. Скачиваем необходимый мод

Все моды состоят из 2 типов файлов: .big и .skudef. Поместите папку мода с этими файлами в любое удобное для вас место.

У разных игр они называются по разному:

Если данного файла нет — обновите игру до последней версии.

Если игра в Стиме и вы не знаете пути к игре — в библиотеке нужно зайти в Свойства игры → Локальные файлы.

Рекомендуется перед этим сделать копию данного файла

Для этого нажимаем по файлу правой кнопкой → Открыть с помощью → выбираем Блокнот.

4. Вставляем в Блокнот путь к моду

А именно — путь к файлу .scudef мода из первого пункта — по следующему шаблону:

В итоге получится вот так:

5. Сохраняем изменения

Всё, теперь можно запускать игру обычным способом — она будет запускаться сразу с модом.

Чтобы вернуть все обратно — удалите добавленную в Блокноте строчку или замените изменённый файл изначальным, который вы скопировали.

Multiplayer support is a possibility in the future. First prototypes are working and I can say It’s nice to play with other players in diplomacy mode, giving the game a new level of depth.

As there is no way of transfering user specific config data between clients that I know of currently, there will eventually be a admin setup mode, where the game will stay in a paused state until the admin/host of the game has setup gamemodes and other customizations in an ingame text menu. Maybe I’ll add some admin tools too, for kicking players and reseting the map/game state (so you never need to host a new game). Another way of setting options will be through admin name additions. Im Also considering ingame live polls for choosing next gamemodes and more (a similiar mechanic is already implemented for accepting/denying the team commander).

1. Fully functional diplomacy system: For very dynamic and long lasting game experiences with intelligent AI. AI always tries to preserve Equilibrium, so if you are about to get too strong, AI faction will form alliances against you. There will be a diplomacy menu in the build tab menu where you can break/create alliances. Too improve the acceptance propability for an alliance you can offer money. You can also try to bribe the enemy if he is about to attack you, so that he will leave back to his base for some time. (Status: prototype ready, 40%)

2. Evolutionary self learning AI which adapts to it’s opponents and saves it’s experience to an external file. There will propably be two versions: One whole player based (for AI) and one for a single selectable unit (maybe as an special power ability) (Status: 10%, long term project)

3. Autostart Config: A Config file which will be created in your KW user data folder with many options including game performance options, superweapon toggle. The config loads after every map load so no game restart necessary. You can also use it to put your own lua scripts inside. (Status: 100%)

4. LUA IO Mod: Start your own LUA scripts live in game from an external file, so it’s like a console in other games. I’ve added many handy commands you can use including sandbox commands such as spawn unit (example: spawn(«NodAvatar») ), teleport unit, transfer unit, set unit status, delete unit an so on. There is also a command to write data to a file. Especially usefull for modders and debugging purpose. There is also a GPS/coordinate system available i’ve created. (Status: 100%)

5. AI Co-Control Toggle Button: The AI is active for human player and you can both control your faction at the same time (really cool feature and good for afk times). (Status: 100%)

6. AI Boost Toggle Button: If the AI seems to loose at some point boost it! It gets an amount of money per sec. Maybe i make an option in the autostart.lua config file for autoboost. (Status: 100%)

7. Meta Control Option Bar put into it’s own build menu tab, so the player power bar is free again. (Status: 100%)

8. No camera zoom limitation anymore. (Status: 100%)

9. *NEW* Native art of defense gamemode you can use on any map. You can customize wave ammount, wave delay, first wave delay, difficulty increase rate and maybe more. The AI adapts to player style and strength. (Status: 60% prototype ready)

— Capture the flag gamemode where you need to hold a marker on the map for a specific ammount of time. If the enemy team takes it away the timer restarts.

— Credit System: You can lend money from the bank. You will have to pay it back. If not the «bank army» appears to attack you until you pay.

I have to mention that each and every option in this mod can be turned on and off with use of the autostart.lua config file. So you have the freedom to create your own highly customized KW. If you play multiplayer only options which all players have activated will be enabled.

If you have good ideas for my planed features or any idea for a new crazy feature please share with me. I’ve discovered some of the deepest secrets of SAGE Engine Lua scripting, and virtually anything now seems to be possible. I will share all my knowledge about SAGE Lua after the next Mod release.

Баланс сил стал практически идеален (ГСБ недополучили новшеств, но это компенсируется их изначальным превосходством).
Появились войска с авторегенирацией.
Коммандосы всех фракций стали живучее и эффективнее.
Все фракции теперь могут исцелять бойцов и восстанавливать численность отрядов:
ГСБ на Оружейном складе,
Братство Нод в Тайном Храме,
Скринны в Сборочной платформе.

Отсебятина:
Снятие ограничение на хранение тиберия для землян (собирайте сколько сможете, тиберий хранится где-то в необъятном варпе как и у пришельцев)
На мой взгляд это ещё больше уравняло все стороны конфликта.
Заменены некорректно локализованные названия некоторых войск, усовершенствований и спецсил.
Примеры: Мародёр стал Аватаром, Орудия Гаусса заменены Рельсотронами (рельсовые пушки) и т.д.
И наконец я добавил описание по количеству вырабатываемой электроэнергии с улучшениями и без.

Hey all, welcome to the Tiberium Insanity mod page! This mod includes a lot of bug fixes, (mainly fixing some bugs EA left behind), and enhancing effects and the atmosphere of the game, improving the AI, and ramping up the difficulty. One of the main key factors of this mod is to eliminate subfactions and to focus on only having 3 factions (GDI, Nod, and Scrin) Each Faction has its own theme: GDI focuses on sonic/zone tech to eradicate Tiberium from the planet, and repel both forces (Nod and Scrin). Nod focuses on the power of the flame! (They use flame and purifying weapons to repel both enemies, while also focusing on spreading the growth of Tiberium and mending their troops with its radiant energy, and with the aid of cyborgs) Scrin focuses on the total annihilation of both factions (Nod and GDI) while increasing the spread of Tiberium and causing havoc with their Tiberium based technology and arsenal. Tiberium Wars Port

I hope everyone is enjoying the mod so far! As I said in a previous post, I will ill be porting the mod to Tiberium wars once it is in a good state to be ported over. So now’s the time! This marks v3.3 the last temporary version of Tiberium Insanity as I work on the TW port. However, I do plan on working again on KW, as I still have many ideas to implement (weapon upgrade for the devastators, weapon upgrade and new mechanic for the guardian robot, new effects, etc. ) and even work on getting the campaign and global conquest working as many of you guys requested previously on discord and moddb.

With that said, porting the game over will take some time, since I am not constantly working on it these days, as I am taking care of university studies. But because of this, I am releasing beta test patches in my discord server if anyone wants to try it out. It’s simple as joining and downloading the patch, no role or permission required. I’m surprised many people supports this mod considering it was made by an asset and ideas thief!

The dev is basically uncreative fellow who takes ideas and assets he sees in other mods on daily basis and just made the mishmash mod you got today! with zero creativity!

He even copy paste anything he sees in other projects discords on the fly with no shame!

And most of the current TW/KW modding community in the SAGE modding server is made up of few corrupted people who close theirs eyes to that unless it’s happens to of their loyal members (Cough Stygs, Cough CrystalNova’s case), really a shame that it reached to this direction. really sad!

(And yeah I’m literally made a user just to break the gag on and let people know the truth! just ask other few KW modders and see what they ganna tell you behind the scenes about this guy!)

******* love this mod, i love the fact that repair drones now actually repair allied vehicles and aircraft, i hated it whenever my units were heavily damaged and i took them to an ally’s base and it didn’t repair my vehicles, also i think that you should add a few units for scrin at the final gateway or final warp, also the centurion has less range than a specter and it’s less effective than one, felt like saying that. Besides that this entire mod is ******* epic lessss goooooo (DaBaby) also i love the new advanced units and structures, that’s it peace.

if its asking to use same version clearly someone isnt using the same as you. so if you have version 3.3 and you are hosting everyone musci use that version viser verser.

I’m really hope you fix Global Conquest Bug that when Computer Using SubFaction At Real-Time battle. Example of bug is the computer auto dead or out the map. Please Enable back SubFaction for Computer so that the bug may not occur. I really enjoy playing Global Conquest, I hope you fix it on oncoming updates

When I get back to KW modding and I have free time again, I will take a look at fixing both the campaign and global conquest

just so you know mate. if you intend to do that for global conquest you may need to make the subfactions. or somehow make it so it only uses the factions you made avaliable.
