Company of Heroes был прорывным RTS-проектом от всемирно известной студии Relic. Оригинальная игра вышла в 2006 году. Впоследствии, она обзавелась и аддонами Opposing Fronts и Tales of Valor. Стратегия поражала воображение своей детализированной графикой и умопомрачительной анимацией. Такого реализма ещё не видел ни один игрок! И соответственно, моды на CoH стали появляться поистине со скоростью ветра. О самых лучших из них мы намерены поговорить в этой подборке.
Company of Heroes — это давно уже не игра, а настоящая легенда. И в данном случае речь пойдёт именно о самой первой части и её аддонах. Вышла стратегия аж в 2006 году и сразу же стала любимой для многих поклонников военных игр. Порою вспоминаются ранние анонсы игры в далёком 2005-м. В журнале «Игромания» данную игру описали всего одним предложением — «Call of Duty. Вид сверху». Релиз игры с головой окунул нас в жаркие побоища времён высадки Союзников, в далёкий 44-й год.
Анимация и графика просто поражали воображение. Всё выглядело даже лучше и качественнее чем в пресловутом Dawn of War. А что уж говорить до геймплея, то здесь — отдельная тема: он максимально отражал понятие реализма. Здесь далеко не Generals Zero Hour, где пара пехотинцев в укрытии разбирают на части танковые армады. Нет, всё стало куда сложнее и интереснее.
В Company of Heroes явно присутствуют и влияют на геймплей факторы брони, боевого духа, морали и снаряжения. Ресурсов здесь три вида, и за ними необходимо тщательнейшим образом следить. Company of Heroes — это Реализм с самой большой буквы. Основная же кампания полностью отражала не только саму высадку американцев в Нормандии, но и их дальнейшее продвижение вглубь Франции. Сражения предстояли кровавые и ожесточённые. И с каждым разом становилось всё интереснее и интереснее.
В 2007 и 2009 годах вышли новые аддоны для Company of Heroes. Первый назывался Opposing Fronts, и хорошо показывал нам жестокие бои в Европе позднего этапа 44-го года. В 2009 году вышел второй аддон и получил название Tales of Valor. Данный аддон внедрял в игру аж целых 3 новых кампании — «Дамба», «Сердце Тигра» и «Ущелье Фалаис». По неясным причинам две новые кампании повествовали о немецких солдатах, но видимо авторы решили показать, что не все германцы во вторую мировую были так яро преданы безумцу Гитлеру, и что и среди них имелись хорошие ребята. А третья же кампания аддона сосредоточена на роте парашютистов США, выполняющих секретные операции.
Вышедшие аддоны устанавливались как отдельные игры, да ещё и привносили немало новых изменений. К примеру, в Opposing Fronts добавились новые элементы погодных условий, нейтральные здания и графические улучшения. В Tales of Valor же все эти чудеса сохранились. Впоследствии, игра сумела обзавестись хорошей базой моддинга, и сегодня мы поговорим о самых известных и лучших проектов для всей серии Company of Heroes.
УСТАНОВКА МОДОВ
Моды на Company of Heroes 2 устанавливаются различными способами. Большинство дополнений имеют собственные уникальные инсталляторы, которые и вносят изменения в оригинальную игру. Перед тем как устанавливать какой-либо мод, как можно более тщательно изучайте инструкции. Для установки некоторых модов есть даже видео-туториалы, которые также можно найти на страницах Moddb и Youtube-каналов известных лестплейщиков.

Steam Release and Rework
Just to avoid any confusion from the get-go: yes, it’s been over five (!) months since version 1.019 went live. and no, this isn’t in regards to a new patch.
There are two reasons for this announcement:
Firstly:
This will hopefully sort out
90% of all issues that people report regarding installation, particularly BAT file issues, directory misunderstandings and download interruptions. It will also make Modern Combat accessible to the entire Steam community (and hopefully give the mod’s dwindling playerbase a shot in the arm).
There are several major obstacles that need to be addressed before the release can go ahead, but if all goes to plan (which it almost never does) then expect our Steam debut in approximately two weeks!
Secondly:
Several times over the past few months I’ve mentioned a proposed rework of Modern Combat. After many months of personal experimentation behind the scenes, I think it’s time to elaborate.
I’ve already created a private demo build of the rework, and following small-scale internal testing have received some encouraging feedback, particularly concerning the unit overhauls and new game mechanics.

However It’s currently a solo project, with vital team-members like Darkbladecr inundated at university and DMz and Beefy working tirelessly (not punny?) over at Eastern Front for the past few months. Very little can be done in the realm of 3D modelling and animating until/unless these team-members are able to return.
Nevertheless, should this rework end up going ahead as planned, I’m eager to involve the fans moreso than we did during the initial release of Modern Combat in March 2012. If the community seems interested enough in such a project then I’ll upload the current faction design documents for everyone to scrutinise and discuss.

В версии мода 9.8 Советские гвардейцы теперь оснащены базукой M1 и одним бойцом, улучшен баланс (противотанковые гранаты теперь стоят 50 боеприпасов вместо 75), У САУ Су 76 удешевлён апгрейд до 50 вместо 100, и добавлена цена за пять выстрелов( 50 боеприпасов). Добавлен приток ресурсов (боеприпасов) в начале игры.

Улучшен баланс, а также уменьшена стоимость арт и авиа поддержки (у некоторых фракций) в двое, повышена стоимость построек в двое, увеличил количество супер танков с 1 до 3х, повышена цена супер танков на 200 топлива, увеличен урон противотанковых гранат до 600 ед, увеличен урон у гаубиц в 4 раза, и куча мелких изменений.
Улучшение баланса: увеличен (по сравнению с оригиналом) приток ресурсов; лимит и жизнь некоторых построек на треть.
Повысил прочность построек в двое, увеличивающих приток ресурсов на точках, увеличен урон, броня и цена тяжёлых танков вдвое, подкорректирован баланс, повысилась сложность.
Установка (НОВАЯ ИНСТРУКЦИЯ)
1. Найти в папке с игрой файл RelicCOH.exe и создать его ярлык;
3. Сохранить совершённые изменения. Мод запускать через этот ярлык. (теперь можно изменить значок ярлыка на EF)

This is only for Steam versions of the game?
Yes, how are you supposed to login into anything else as it requires you a connection to something that has been shutdown.
Steam is the only option to play COH now.
Well I have these things called discs that I put in, and the strangest thing happens. I play CoH. I’m in Afghanistan and I don’t have a good enough connection to play online.
Oh well, guess I’ll be stuck at 1.014 until I go home.

Yeah, it’s good enough to surf and download things very slowly, but not good enough to play online games.
I didn’t have my key to switch it over to Steam anyways. I was just going to buy the complete pack from Steam, but I didn’t feel like spending my money again for three games that I already have. Plus, I would rather spend that money on CoH2, which hopefully will also see Modern Combat.
This release was just because you can no longer use non-steam versions of Company of Heroes to play online multiplayer. The old servers have been shut down since Sega acquired the rights to the CoH series.

Figured I’d comment back here. I’ve played a few games recently. The Internet is good enough to play online. Sometimes it gets pretty laggy, especially when everyone is calling home with Skype or whatever.
Also, I’m not on active duty any more. I’m a prior-service Marine, but nowadays I’m out here as a civilian, but I appreciate it.

Steam is the only version of CoH now so yes this only works for the Steam Relaunch of Company of Heroes.
And the patch 1.015 for non steam versions?

no, you won’t be able to play online on the Non Steam version of COH
I’m aware that I won’t be able to play online. I don’t play online now, because I don’t have a good enough Internet connection to play online. It takes me at least a week to download anything usually, and I’m often out at places that have no connectivity at all. I’ve just blocked CoH from connecting, and play LAN or stomp the AI.
Sorry to disapoint you, bt I play your mod with the «Retail version» of the game;) I don´t play online, though! But it works with the non-steam version!
People need to grow out of the steam phobia.

Theres no steam phobia here, its people with ****** internet or who dont feel the need to change over to steam and be FORCED to download again what they already have on disc.
I have the retail editions and steam only because i got the steam ones free with COH2 preorder. If i didnt, i would never in a million years waste my time rebuying or converting the game.
Seems like people need to grow out of not being able to read
P.s. Alot of COH players still dont use the steam version because it lacks a LAN function and forces servers to be listed online publicly so any random can join. Thats no good for a AI skirmish or just playing with mates.

Как раз вовремя, до начала турнира в эти выходные мы сжал в этом исправлений патча 1.005. В нем рассматривается вопрос, что некоторые люди с более низким настройки текстуры испытывают, где модели наводчика головы, транспортных средств, шасси и т.д. не было видно.
Далее, мы нашли возможность выпустить новую возможность, которая может пригодиться для анализа турнира повторы. Сандер Дейкстра предоставил нам Бета-версия хорошо известной CoH Воспроизведения Анализатор, которые мы могли бы обновить, чтобы поддержать наших mod. Спасибо большое! Исправлена UI текст Napalm Забастовку в Командном Выбор.
Исправлено большое количество текстур, которые в предыдущей редакции restulted в исчезновением наводчика головы, шасси автомобиля и другие модели.
Все в всех, это улучшает геймплей фактор этот мод в геометрической прогрессии. Скачать довольно большой, и может быть, не всем нравятся эти звуки, поэтому загрузка не является обязательной и может быть легко удалена путем простого удаления ImpactSounds.sga

Установка В архиве 7 файлов и папка ModernCombat. кидаем их в папку с игрой! И проходим в папку ModernCombat в ней видим файл ModernCombat.exe и запускаем её. Вот и Всё!
вполне не плохо, но нужно больше боевых единиц, и расстроило то что нельзя развернуть полевой штаб

народ слушайте там же стоит трейнер для постройки и все такое что это за трейнер просто я не у спеваю до строится и меня валят со всех сторон с танками пока я построю один
Чёткий мод) я полчаса в состоянии шока находился) от звуков войны с помощью современной техники кровь из ушей текла))
