В недалеком будущем люди не только смогли покинуть родную планету, но и избавились от своих физических тел.
Теперь они путешествуют в космосе в виде мозгов, искусственно поддерживаемых в рабочем состоянии. Банально, но мозгам тоже нужны ресурсы, которые приходится добывать на отдаленных планетах.
Однако самая интересная фишка игры это «Пиксельная физика». Она хорошо знакома нам по таким играм как «Tank Wars», «Scorched Earth», «Worms». Но здесь технология вышла на новый уровень. Во-первых, появились материалы. Каждый объект имеет различную плотность и состоит из множества запчастей. В процессе игры его можно «разобрать» с помощью неплохого арсенала, предлагаемого во встроенном магазине. Во-вторых значительно улучшена динамика. Десантный бот очень реалистично врезается в землю или сжигает все на своем пути реактивной струей. Большая пушка разносит на пикселы солдат противника так, что только каски отлетают. В общем, довольно весело.

It has seven actors, with unique weapons, which have a slow fire rate and little ammo, but if used properly they’re quite powerful. Their Ai is kinda messed up, as they don’t form teams and tend to be passive towards enemies, at least for m.
Bunker Breach is personally my favourite gametype, so I made a few of my own to spice things up a bit.

Некроны появились в галактике задолго до человека, о них упоминали древние хроники Эльдаров. Возникли некроны из расы некронтир, поклонявшихся древним богам — К’тан, которых после инцидента с Цегорахом осталось только четверо — Несущий Ночь — воплощение самой смерти, Обманщик — хитрейший из богов, Потусторонний, заточённый в сфере Дайсона Эльдарами, и Дракон Пустоты — один из составляющих Бога-Машины, запертый в Талисмане Ваула на Марсе.
Их родная планета находилась в опасной близости от звезды их системы, в результате чего все Некронтир страдали от лучевой болезни. Их города стали могильниками, а храмы — местом поклонения смерти, а не жизни. Со временем, они создали космические корабли с атомными досветовыми двигателями и отправились в путешествие к звездам в надежде найти новый мир. Но, когда они прибыли в другие районы галактики, они увидели, что раса Древних (Old Ones) — Добро, и справедливо владеет ею, не страдая от болезней, и знать не зная ни о каких Некронтир и их беде. Увидев это, сердца их загорелись завистью и злобой, и они повернули назад, вынашивая планы о мести.
Через некоторое время они обнаружили аномалию — некоторые звезды в их секторе гасли, будто высасываемые эфирными сущностями (богами?) К’тан (C’tan) — «Звездные боги» на их языке. Так Некронтир познакомились с их судьбой. Они воззвали к К’тан и создали для них тела из живого металла. К’тан сказали, что дадут Некронтир мощь для уничтожения Древних и вообще всей жизни в галактике, но обманули их, дав им могучие тела из живого металла, но захватив их души и поглотив их. Так появились Некроны — машины, созданные для кровавой жатвы во имя своих ненасытных богов.
Вскоре после уничтожения Древних, некроны уснули в своих склепах на многие тысячелетия. Известно множество Миров — Гробниц Некронов, и еще больше остается недоступными человечеству. Немногие сведения о Гробницах заставляют всерьез обеспокоиться проблемой некронов — миллиарды металлических тел покоятся в склепах — ячейках. Обычное решение для миров, на которых было обнаружено присутствие Некронов — Экстерминатус. Кроме того, в последнее тысячелетия активизировался космический флот Некронов — мистически крепкие и быстроходные крейсеры в сочетании с Кораблями — Гробницами представляют почти неостановимую угрозу для Империума.

О́рки (англ. Orks) — это инопланетный народ в вымышленной вселенной Warhammer 40,000, который рождается и умирает на поле битвы (в прямом смысле этого слова — ведь после смерти орк или гретчин (гоблин по терминам фэнтези) выпускает споры из которых затем вырастают орки или гретчины).
Орки являются симбиозом животных и растений, именно этим объясняется зеленый цвет их кожи и потрясающие возможности к регенерации. Размножаются орки спорами, которые отделяются от орка во время всей его жизни и обильно высыпаются после смерти. Попав в почву, споры прорастают и из них развивается кокон, из которого впоследствии появляется орк, гретчин, снотлинг или сквиг. Чем старше, а следовательно больше и сильнее орк, тем больше шанс появления полноценного орка из его спор. Хотя, многое зависит и от условий внешней среды, в которых прорастают и развиваются коконы. Гретчины — это мелкие зеленокожие существа, выполняющие роль рабочей силы. Орки же гораздо крупнее, это прирожденные воины. Они растут, побеждая в сражениях, и поэтому чем больше орк, тем он сильнее. Иерархия орков построена на силе и размере. Поэтому гретчины (или гроты) оказались самим низшим классом. По обычаям, после битвы выбирать понравившееся ему трофеи может только Варбосс — самый большой, сильный и опытный орк.
Самым известным Варбоссом был,пожалуй,Горгутц,который присутствовал во всех аддонах 1-го Вархаммера.
Орки верят, что техника покрашенная в красный цвет ездит быстрее. И ведь действительно ездит! Однако, попытки покрасить в красный цвет гретчинов, как ни странно, к увеличению производительности не привели.
