Adds research that continues after «Edgewalkers»
That will let you research towards Edge Type 3 quality weapons with critical success chance up to Meitou quality.

If the author never comes back:

You can get around the overflow issue by making a copy of Meitou grade, making it tech level 99, and making THAT the craftable one. Then a crit will give you perfect 100 Meitou, while noncrit gives you 99% of a Cross blade. Immersion! And no more rusted junk overflow.

Dunno if the author is coming back but for those of you willing to crack open the FCS you can make this change in your local copy. If you screw it up just delete the mod folder and let Steam push a new copy 🙂

Description:

This mod adds the ability to research and craft both Edge Type 3 & Meitou grade weapons; also makes Homemade weapons as strong as the existing ones and boosts their sell price. Additionally it unlocks several new, previously unobtainable, Meitou weapons.

FEATURES:
– Research & craft Edgewalkers and Meitou weapon grades
– Homemade are no longer much weaker than the existing ones
– Crafted weapon sell prices are boosted to resemble the existing ones
– Weapon grades no longer disappear — you can craft anything from Old-Refitted Blade to Meitou using new «Weapon Smith – All Grades» bench that unlocks along with «Weapon Smith III»
– New Meitou weapons that were previously unobtainable:
Flesh Cleaver
Iron Club
Iron Stick
Long Cleaver
Mercenary Club
Naginata Katana
Spiked Club

Stat Difference on example of Heavy Polearm Meitou (Cross vs Homemade)

RESEARCH LEVELS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Edge Type 1 – Smithing level 56 – Tech Level 5 – Cost: 1 AI Core
Edge Type 2 – Smithing level 60 – Tech Level 5 – Cost: 1 AI Core
Edge Type 3 – Smithing level 64 – Tech Level 5 – Cost: 1 AI Core
Meitou – Smithing level 81 – Tech Level 6 – Cost: 2 AI Cores
Researching forementioned weapon grades requires previous researches(Advanced Weapon Grades & Advanced Weapon Smithing). Weird Smithing levels are a result of Kenshi’s modding tool limitations.

Contrary to some other similiar mods, this one doesn’t have a problem with Meitou weapons becoming Rusted Junk on critical chance.

Craftable weapon grades meitou kenshi мод

This mod seeks to expand the variety of weapons that a couple of bandit groups have access to, and allow characters to begin training with a wider variety of weapons earlier on.

Adds one of each weapon type discounting blunt weapons, as the Iron Club al.

Add 3 kinds (light, medium, heavy) boots.

Leather Combatr Boots (Leather Armor Crafting)
Plated Leather Boots (Plate Armour Crafting)
Iron Greaves (Plate Armour Crafting)

The boots and the blue prints will be sold in the major city.

Notes: I’m already away from Kenshi and there is no update.

Adds two new armor items (with three variants each) to the game:

Plate Pants (+ White/Black Plate Pants):
— New armor piece to match the Plate Jacket with Medium Armor stats.

Plate Boots (+ White/Black Plate Boots):
— Retextured version of the Plat.

I mixed the weapons used in Japan, and I made it with a focus on being lore friendly.
New weapons are added to many NPC’s belongings.

Currently adds 10 facepaints that work with both male and female greenlanders and scorchlanders. I will probably add more as I come up with ideas and such, hope you enjoy the mod.

Things of Note:
As of V4.0 the facepaints no longer spawn on random NPC.

Martial Artists’ attacking moves depend on the distance, between you and your enemy.
In Vanilla, there are ranges where your character has No attack assigned, so he’ll just wait there or slowly move towards an attacking enemy.

Makes almost all hats, masks and goggles equipable with each other by making smaller copies of them, which you can put into belt slot. Also adds them for crafting(You need to research it first, does not need any blueprints) and to vendors lists.
