A mod based on the Warcraft setting by Blizzard Entertainment and a CK3 branch of the Warcraft CK2 mod. As well as with the original mod, our team will be working to recreate the world of Azeroth in all of its glory until the entire surface of the planet is finished and polished (let’s hope CK4 won’t be released too soon). We will be focusing on the classic Warcraft storyline, which includes Warcraft 1-3 and parts of WoW, and when it’s done, we may call it the 1.0.0 version and release it.
So, it’s decided then. I mean uhhh… Hello! We’re henceforth going to start adapting the Warcraft: GoA for CK3. The temporary name we have given it is the Guardians of Azeroth: 2 or GoA 2. It will take plenty of time, but we will be posting all the progress just as we did it with CK2 GoA.
Though CK3 lacks some features (waiting for the coming DLCs), it has some nice functionality that suits Warcraft very well, like religious confessions due to a huge number of religions and a complex system of their relationships. So, the Wildhammer dwarves and taunka might end up with different confessions of shamanism.
Once again, we hope to find people who can help us on this difficult path, so if you’re interested, we’re Recruiting. We especially need cartographers and 3D artists who can work on cute creatures like this.

In this mod, our team is working to recreate the world of Azeroth in all of its glory, particularly focusing on the story of the classic Warcraft strategy games and World of Warcraft Classic. You can restore justice to Azeroth, plunge the world into the chaos and fulfill the prophecy that is the Hour of Twilight, or burn it all in the name of Sargeras. If that is not your style, you can also choose to indebt every living realm on Azeroth to your wealthy Goblin cartel. Every decision is yours to make!

Patch Notes!
Awesome work as always guys. 🙂
Awesome as always! By the way, I might remember it wrong but I may have read it previously that there will be only 1 update to CK2 GoA. Does this mean that now that this update is out, you will divert your full attention to CK3? Or have I just dreamt the whole thing up with no basis what so ever?
Still, getting this far is already amazing enough.
Cheers to you all, you wonderful bastards!
Will see.
There are still devs working on CK2.
Whenever I try to marry off a certain character to someone, I would get notification saying that the marriage is cancelled for some reason and the characters involved would get the «Can not Marry» character trait. Is this a bug? Coz this happens every time no matter what character/faction I start the campaign with.
Edit:
The characters involved are of the same race, same culture, and same religion.(i.e. Human x Human, Kul Tiran x Kul Tiran, Tidemother x Tidemother) Which makes it even more frustrating.
Who you tried to marry?
1. I tried arranging marriages between my courtiers (lowborn to highborn). Doesn’t work.
2. I tried marrying them off to family members and courtiers of my vassals. Doesn’t work.
3. I tried arranging marriage between my heir and quite literally everyone no matter what race, culture, or religion they have. Still doesn’t work.
4. I tried arranging a marriage between the character (King of Gilneas) that I was using who was unmarried when I started the game to everyone I can get my hands on. Debutants, Lowborn courtiers, Single highborn females, Vassal family members, Foreign princesses. None seems to work
Sure I would get the notification that the wedding was a success, but the same notification would appear after a few in-game days later. And both characters involved would get the «Can not Marry» trait.
Here’s the description of the trait:
Can not marry: «This character can not marry because of it’s race or because it couldn’t find its soul mate.»
Here are sample screenshots for both characters I tried marrying together:
The same thing happened. The marriage would be arranged, but the same notification would appear after a few in-game days later.
(I was roleplaying as Daelin Proudmoore during saved game.)
