Автор мода отмечает, что его сборка не влияет на воду и эффекты заклинаний. Более того, RaizuX утверждает, что визуальные усовершенствования в целом незначительны, поскольку система освещения в игре безнадежно устарела. Тем не менее, это лучше, чем ничего. А еще лучше может стать, если найдутся энтузиасты, которые решат внедрить в проект технологию трассировки лучей.
Dark Messiah Enhanced Mod доступен для скачивания на NexusMods. В случае краша игры при загрузке или сохранении стоит воспользоваться этим приложением.

Dont use the HDR & Illumination of the Game with the ReShade.
To adjust the brightness of your screen use the game options.
To install the Reshade:
First download the lastest ReShade, launch the app select the executable of the game and install it with DX9 only (no additional shaders)
If you are not sure Delete the «reshade-shaders» folder before replace it with the RESHADELITE
Close the ReShade app
After Unpack the RESHADELITE folder and copy and paste it all in the game folder where it finds the executable «mm.exe»
To uninstall the ReShade delete the following files and folder:
The folder «reshade-shaders»
Files «Reshade(.ini)», «ReShadePreset(.ini)», «d3d9(.log)» & «d3d9(.ini)»
The file «d3d9(.dll)»
Use Key «Page Up» for Switch ON / OFF, Key «Page Down» for Reload the ReShade and «Home» to Open Setup.
Use the MFAA on GTX 900 series or higher
If you have the 1.0 or 1.1 use the Patch for Update your Game to 1.2 version
Patch the executable game (mm.exe) for better compatibility with Large Address Aware
Patch the game for reduce crashes with this

Press a designated key once to toggle crouching/walking rather than having to hold the key down, and remove camera tilting when strafing left and right. All options configureable and you can disable anything you don’t want.

Hello everyone and welcome to DME.
Dark Messiah Enhanced (DME) is a small personal project I decided to work on to increase the resolution of textures in the base game to help increase the overall quality, even if only slightly.
To install:
-Inside game directory, go inside folder /mm. Open gameinfo.txt and add the line Game Custom to it. (or download from misc section)
-It should look like this:

Game |gameinfo_path|.
-Launch the game, (re)adjust settings to your preference then close game.
-Go back to game directory, inside folder /mm.
-Copy the media folder (If you have previous saves from /mm then also copy the SAVE folder) and paste them into the /custom folder.
-Download and extract this mod to the /custom directory.
-Launch and play.
If you crash when loading new game or saved game, apply large address aware to mm.exe. It can be found here.
My Note:
Some of the game textures are set using a specific resolution and thus changing that resolution changes the size in game.
I also couldn’t figure out a way to edit the sky textures correctly either.
Other then that, this mod is now in a complete state.
However, this should be a good start for helping the game look slightly better overall. Removes a lot of the pixelation the textures had in base game. Though some textures still appear.. well not good.
FPS wise, game seems mostly unaffected by the texture increase. In few cases I did have problems, but I think that was on my end as a game restart solved the issue.
If someone happens to know a way around the resolution lock if there is one feel free to let me know.
In any-case I hope this helps you to enjoy the game in a ever, if even so slightly, visual appeal. 🙂
