This mod adds new hairstyles available at character creation. Included are some of Ren’s and idkrrr’s hairstyles, as well as the Lady of the Forest hair.
Let’s make it clear from the start: I didn’t create any of the models or textures included, although some are heavily edited. All credits go to their original authors.
Comments are welcomed, help would be appreciated :).
UPDATES

v0.51 : added Jinx’s «Don’t worry Be hairy» conversion to the CC, tintable. Added one new hair for males of all races, based loosely on the warden’s hair from the Sacred Ashes trailer.
v0.5: fixed a couple of styles, added most to dwarven females
v0.4: fixed ef_har_ren11, added 1 style to human males, 3 to human females, and 17 to elven males.
v0.3 : finished the elven female styles. A few more styles for human females.
v0.24: couple more hairstyles for elves and dwarves
v0.22a: small update that should fix a few problems with the newest hairstyles
v0.22: added Duncan’s hair with and without earring to human males, and without earring to elven males. Added one style for human females, and three to elven females.
v0.21: fixed the Lady’s texture, added a couple more hairstyles for elven females.
v0.2: added all 15 hairstyles to human males. Added one hairstyle to elven males, four to elven females and two to dwarven females.
v0.17: more texture and model work, added an alternate Lady of the Forest retexture and a shorter version. I think all hairstyles look pretty good now, with the exception of 1 or 2. I’ll start adding them to other races/genders in next updates.
v0.16a: fixed the bug that made some NPCs have their hair replaced. Smoothed a few ponytail rigging.
v0.16: texture and UVs are updated for a few models (see screenshot), hair#3 became at least decent, and one new hairstyle is available for human men.
v0.15: first Ren hairstyle is a little better and available for all races and genres (only this one). Nothing else is changed.
INSTALLATION
============
1. Drag in DAModder and let it install
1. Extract the archive in your «My Documents\Bioware\Dragon Age\Packages\Core\Override» directory
2. Create a new character or use the toolset to edit your character/NPCs.
All models and textures are standalone, and don’t replace any original file.
Any mod that modifies the Character Creator screen will likely conflict.
In this case, you can usually edit the file «chargenmorphcfg.xml» yourself to merge the changes (with wordpad or any text editor). Read the comments thread if you need help.
I’ll provide a modified «chargenmorphcfg.xml» file to use with some other mods. Delete all the ones you can find in your Override directory and its subfolders, then put the downloaded file there.
Uninstall with DAModder or delete the folder.
— Clipping with ears/face for some models
— Clipping with armor/clothes with the longer hairstyles
— Transparent black boxes may appear around the edges of the hair
— Only LOD0 models are present, hair may disappear if you move far away from your character. It will reappear when you approach.
— Front long hair can make the beards buggy.
— Strange highligths with edited Duncan/Morrigan hair
— Hair doesn’t cast shadows

Этот мод для Dragon Age: Origins заменяет оригинальные прически, лица, а так же глаза персонажей на новые, более качественные и реалистичные. Качество текстур было повышено довольно сильно, по-этому персонажи теперь смотрятся более красиво и естественно. Мод конечно же влияет на производительность игры, по этому если вы играете только на низких настройках — не рекомендуется его ставить.
Текстуры лиц и причесок могут быть использованы в меню редактирования персонажа и в спец. утилитах.
Текстуры глаз могут быть использованы только в специальных утилитах для редактирования внешности.

Let me say first, I didn´t create these Hairstyles and textures. I only making them useable for the DAO-character creator. All credits go to the original authors (consent was granted). I have a lot respect from their great work.
Okay, here is my first Modification for the Community. I hope you like it and. happy HAIRSTYLE DAY:)
Installation
1. Download the mod
2. Extract the HAIRSTYLE DAY NEW folder in your «My Documents\Bioware\Dragon Age\Packages\Core\Override» directory
3. Run CharGenMorph Compiler if you use more than one changenmorphcfx.xml files..more infos about what a changenmorphcfx.xml file is and what the CharGenMorph Compiler does..read the description on the following link. (CharGenMorph Compiler).
Alternately, if you want to simply edit your chargenmorph file yourself. Add the line(s) of the hairstyle(s) you want use under the gender/race hair section.
For example you want use the «Aphrodite» hairstyle for HF.
Just put the following line under in your chargenmorph file and save it. ( )
— Delete HARSTYLE DAY NEW folder from your override folder.
