Immersive Engineering is a mod created by BluSunrize and Mr_Hazard. It adds new Forge Energy (FE)–based machinery with a retro-futuristic feeling to the game. It features many multiblock machines, with energy components that look and feel like an AC electrical network.
Immersive Engineering’s unit of Forge Energy is Immersive Flux (IF), which integrates seamlessly with Redstone Flux–based power systems, exchanging IF for RF at a 1:1 ratio.
Prior to version 1.8, Immersive Engineering used RF as a unit, and equipment also worked with IndustrialCraft 2’s power system of Energy Units (EU).
Immersive Engineering, Ch 1
•> Immersive Engineering is a tech mod with a certain charm, based on the ideas and concepts, and with most assets created by Damien Hazard.
•> Overall, it’s about realism-inspired technology: Instead of glowing red tubes, it offers actual, hanging powerlines. Instead of one block that magically spits out dust when the ore is put in, it offers a crusher, a big multiblock (5x3x3) that features rotating wheels and spits out particles as it breaks the ore. Instead of a Laser that turns power into magical light and ores, it offers an Excavator, another massive, resource-intensive, multiblock (3x7x8) which digs ores out of the ground with a big rotating bucketwheel. IE is about making tech mods more balanced and more pretty, and adding its twist by going for retro-futurism (think BioShock, Order 1886, SkyCaptain and the World of Tomorrow) rather than clinical white+grey future cubes.

-Looms! The mechanic of using a Crafting Table to make Banner Patterns migrated to a new block added on 1.14+, the loom. Special patterns are only obtained by crafting recipes, loot, and trading with villagers. IE brings new Banner Patterns, to craft them you must had first found or traded an Engineer’s Blueprint of Banner Patterns. Here are the Patterns:

-All Immersive Engineering’s GUI has a similar view like this one;
+The GUI changes a bit, but that’s how it looks like, the example above is a Crate’s GUI.
-Sweet world full of new Stone made-from resources! Ores are used on everything, each having a different metal that has been discovered and examine with the elegant manner of scientific observation. IE adds many new ores, some already existing from other mods; but they still have different capabilities of spawning around the world, just like in real life works.
-Found in the Overworld on layers 40-72, it requires a Stone Pickaxe or higher to be harvest
-Easily miss-understood by its name, this is Aluminium Ore. Found in the Overworld on layers 40-85, it requires a Stone Pickaxe or higher to be a harvest.
-Commonly used when crafting Capacitors (Batteries, a storage unit to hold energy), found in the Overworld on layers 8-36, it requires an Iron Pickaxe or higher to be harvest
-When is combined with Gold, then is made “Electrum” a metal far effective conductor of energy. Found in the Overworld on layers 8-40 it requires an Iron Pickaxe or higher to be harvest
-When combined with Copper, is made a metal called; “Constantan”, which is a heat-resistant conductor. Found in the Overworld on layers 8-24, it requires an Iron Pickaxe or higher to be harvest
-Currently, developers of IE will be using this metal for future Endeavours, at the moment can be used to create a ton of heat for a Generator. Which one could it be? Found in the Overworld on layers 8-24, it requires an Iron Pickaxe or higher to be a harvest.
-Most of the time used as a wrench or way to Config in-world blocks. Inside of a crafting table, it could be used to make Grit (A pulverized form of ores) make metal plates, and more.
2•Engineer’s Cutting Wire:
-Used on a Crafting Table or Engineer’s Workbench, it can cut through Metal Plates to either create Molds or Wire.

-Used to Config Redstone optional blocks inside of IE, making so Redstone enthusiasts play with great joy.
-When holding on hand, while looking at an IE block you’ll see its capacity and real-time energy it’s holding.
-Metal Rods are easily crafted with two/2 of the same metal in a pattern similar when crafting sticks.
-Once installing Immersive Engineering on your world, three (3) new kinds of smelting furnaces. Each has its uniqueness of usage.
-4 Clay Balls, 4 Bricks and Sandstone
-4 Nether Bricks, 4 Bricks, and Magma Block
-2 Bricks and 2 Sandstones
-All Furnaces added by IE aren’t made with 8 blocks in a circular pattern in a crafting grid. No! They need a structure, to then be used as an Engineer’s Hammer with right-click on its center or upper right corner to “Set-structure”.
-Place 27 Coke Bricks in a 3x3x3 construct, then right-click with an Engineer’s Hammer the center.
-Without a doubt, an essential started structure to be made since day one of your world. It uses Coal to create Coal Coke, a more lifespan Coal than a Vanilla Minecraft one! Here’s its GUI;
A: Input, place here Component or Block component, to make it automatically, place a Hopper on a side or top.
B: Output, here’s where the respective product is going to exit, placing a Hopper under it will automatically extract
C: Byproduct Tank, There is a byproduct, used on many crafting recipes.
1: Input Bucket, placing here an empty bucket would take a bucket of the byproduct and leave it at slot 2
2: Output Bucket slot.
Byproduct: Creosote; 250 mb
Byproduct: Creosote; 5,000 mb (5 Buckets)
Byproduct: Creosote, 500 mb
>Crude Blast Furnace:
-Place 27 Blast Bricks in a 3x3x3 construct, then right-click with an Engineer’s Hammer in the center.
-Steel production, made inside this Blast Furnace. By the use of Coal Coke, is fueled this Blast Furnace essentially. Steel is used in many recipes also used on Armor and weaponry, here’s the GUI:

Immersive Engineering is a mod created by users BluSunrize and Mr_Hazard. It adds a number of structures that create a more realistic setting for power generation using the RF system.
It is best known for its multiblock machines, characterized by their industrial look. Both single and multiblock machines operate on three tiers of power, low voltage being 256 RF/t, medium being 1024 RF/t and high corresponding to 4096 RF/t.
It was also compatible with IndustrialCraft 2 EU energy prior to Minecraft version 1.10.
The most important tool for this mod is the Engineer’s Manual, created by crafting together a book and a lever. It contains recipes and instructions for everything in the mod.

Bill of materials
This information pertains to an older version of the mod.
Assembly
Once the blocks are assembled, use the Engineer’s Hammer on the center of the front of the longer side (which should be a Steel Fence with a Hopper above it) to complete the structure.
Usage
The Crusher does not have a GUI. The machine accepts any form of Forge Energy (FE) or Redstone Flux (RF) through the top of the multiblock, through the interface shown below.

When an entity falls into the center pit, the machine crushes it. Products drop out the front-bottom-center hatch, marked with an orange dot. If there is an inventory there (like a Chest), outputs land in that inventory.
When a mob falls into the Crusher’s hopper, it gets crushed, and the machine outputs its drops. If an ore falls in, it’s crushed into two grits. If an ingot or gem falls in, it’s crushed into a single grit. If an item that cannot be processed falls in, it stays loose in the machine’s hopper. (In older versions of the mod, the item gets destroyed. No citation needed; please confirm. [citation needed] )
The speed that the Crusher processes one item is very close to the speed that a furnace processes one item when fueled with an External Heater. 2 furnaces can keep up with a Crusher that’s processing ores.
The Crusher accepts a Redstone signal through the «control panel», the front-rightmost-center block, to halt its processes.
Mining Drill (Immersive Engineering)
This page is about the Immersive Engineering Mining Drill. For other uses, see Mining Drill .

| Mod | Immersive Engineering |
| Type | Tool |
The Mining Drill is a tool added by Immersive Engineering. It is powered by Biodiesel, and can be filled directly from a Refinery.
The Mining Drill (when crafted) does not come with a Drill Head. It needs either an Iron Drill Head or a Steel Drill Head installed. To install a Drill Head, the Mining Drill should be placed in an Engineer’s Workbench, and the corresponding Drill Head should be placed in the top of the four «upgrade slots» (shift-clicking should work though, too).
The Mining Drill can be used without a Drill Head, however, it is slower and less efficient than a Wooden Pickaxe, and not very well worth it. The Drill Head will determine the mining area, level, speed, attack damage and durability of the Mining Drill. Steel is better than Iron, but both are much better than using no Drill Head whatsoever.
The Mining Drill has a special hitting animation. Although it makes each hit look slower, it is nothing but visual.
The Mining Drill does not work underwater- for this, a Pressurized Air Tank upgrade is needed.
Upgrades
The Mining Drill can be upgraded through an Engineer’s Workbench. Three slots are available for upgrades (and one more for a Drill Head).
List of Upgrades
The two Drill Heads (the Iron Drill Head and Steel Drill Head) technically count as upgrades, although the drill is rarely used without them.
