Hmmmmmm. Reinstalling Java?
Also, how did you reinstall? By just downloading Minecraft again, or actually using the Windows Uninstall thingy?

and delete / rename the 1.8.9.jar file, and since it won’t be able to find it, it will have to download it. But, if there’s a problem with your internet connection and it can’t download, it will never work. But since you’re posting here, I would imagine your internet is working. There used to be a way to manually download jar files, but I don’t know if that’s still available, or what the address was.

I’ve written a launcher for Minecraft 1.12.2 in Python, which just prepares a command and runs it using subprocess.
This is the command formed on Linux Ubuntu:

PROBLEM: Ubuntu version executes perfectly, without any complain, but Windows version says:
and it does not start at all.
As u see Ubuntu and Windows commands are almost identical.
The minecraft installation (used on both Ubuntu and Windows) that I’m trying to start, comes from Windows (generated by official launcher, forge is installed, I only replace libraries marked as natives because they are platform dependent), and it can be started using official launcher on both platforms without any problems, so I assume that there is no issue with missing or corrupted minecraft files. Moreover I was able to start it using my custom launcher but only on Ubuntu, as I wrote above.
Do u guys have any suggestions on what am I doing wrong?
PS I’ve tried to start Vanilla Minecraft using my custom launcher and the issue is exactly the same, it works on Ubuntu, but fails on Windows with the same error (ofc it mentions vanilla class instead)
EDIT I do not provide the Python code as it is long, and it just extracts natives to a temporary folder and forms the command to launch minecraft, which could be just written by hand and pasted into a script and executed.

I am using a windows 10 that does not have Java installed and whenever I open the minecraft launcher and click on Play it loads but however it doesnt open the game instead it gives me this problem:

I deleted the 1.10.2 jar file but the same problem still happened

I had the same problem before upgrading to win 10 when it was windows 8
I would suggest creating a new profile and/or trying a different version.
And you see that error listed anywhere in Launcher log? No. The I guess the Game Output does show up in the OP’s game and they just cherry picked a single line from it to paste as the thread subject.
We’d like to see it whole.

Yes, it is a Java class execution error. Which is listed somewhere or the OP would not be able to quote it verbatim in the thread’s subject.
And since it’s not listed in the posted Launcher log, this somewhere would be the launcher’s Game Output tab. So it’d be nice for the OP to provide the entire contents of that tab, in case it has somethng more relevant.

Maybe this is helpful but before when my laptop was windows 8 it always had an error when trying to install Java and now that its win10 I tried multiple times to install Java but when I click on the installer nothing appears like nothing happens not even any background process appears in task manager.

I am not a Linux pro nor a Java pro, but I am setting up a Minecraft server on Ubuntu 16.04. System has 8GB RAM.
I followed all the directions for setting up the server (which is very simple) but when I ran the command:
What is the difference and what are the possible issues by not specifying RAM?
Additionally, what is a good practice for starting up the Minecraft server via SSH and letting it run in the background after disconnecting?

Specifying RAM
The issues by not specifying RAM is pretty simply that your Minecraft server won’t have enough RAM reserved for it, causing it to crash. Have you tried putting the RAM commands at the end, like so:
Using Minecraft in the background
You can run Minecraft in the background in many different ways. I’ve listed a few below as an example.
Method 1: screen
Most people prefer screen because you can go back and access the console at any time.
Method 2: bg / fg
Note that I have not personally tested it, so YMMV.
Method 3: nohup
Prepend your start command with the nohup command. After your Minecraft server has started, just close your SSH session. The server will keep running.
Be careful using nohup though, because it will use up a LOT of hard drive space keeping its own logs. You can avoid this by appending >/dev/null 2>&1 to the end of the command.
Method 4: Initscripts
Initscripts are very complicated, but it lets your server auto-start/stop on boot or on manual invocation. Instructions are available online. There are many good methods, but they need to be tailored to your system.

В моем проекте, подобная проблема была решена следующим способом:
Может кому нибудь поможет. Закрыл эклипс полностью. Папку с проектом ВЫГРЫЗ из воркспейса в другой каталог. Запустил эклипс снова. Он пометил проект который изчез другой иконкой. Нажимаем на неё и резрешаем её удалить либо сами удаляем. далее опять перезапускаем эклипс. добавляем папку рукамив обратно в воркспейс. и т.к. у меня был проект мавен я добавлял существующий проект мавен. Ну а если простой проект, то по почти такой же схеме Импорт-дженерал-экзистинг проджект- далее находите нужную папку и подгружаете свой проект в project или package explorer(это окна так называются для просмотра проектов). ВсЁ. У меня заработало.
