What’s in this mod? All of the vanilla (in-game) posters I could find, as placeable stand-alone objects for your settlements! Includes:
> all 42 of the «advertisement» posters
> all 5 of the «generic» posters
> all 16 of the «miscellaneous» posters
> all 5 of the «GOAT Test» posters
> the 4 big «Theater» posters
> the «PAM Diagram» poster
> the pre-war calendar from the refrigerator
> the pre-war world map from the newsroom
> all 3 of the «Mechanist» posters from the DLC*
Exception: The load-screen perk posters aren’t here, because there were too many of them. They’ve been split off into their own mod SotT-Perks, along with the load-screen perk pins. See the link below if that’s what you’re looking for.

Are those all of the posters in the game? No. But they’re all the ones I was able to find back when I was putting this mod together.

*NOTE: If you haven’t bought the Mechanist DLC, the posters from the DLC won’t work for you.
Modders are not allowed to release DLC content to people who haven’t bought the DLC, and this mod prevents unauthorized use by referencing Materials and Textures files for those objects that you will not have without the DLC.
This is not a bug. It’s supposed to work this way.
You will still be able to use all of the other posters in this mod. You can use this mod without the DLC, you just won’t be able to use the three posters from the DLC.

If you’re trying to find Gruffydd’s Signs and Posters or Gruffydd’s Signs of the Times, they are no longer hosted at the Nexus. You can now find them over at AFKMods.

Paintings, there grate. But not.
Paintings are good at make you settlements look pretty. Oh so pretty.
But they are just so bland.

XvomTheMad has gone a long way into fixing this with Personal Paintings and Personal Posters.

But after buying (in real life) a N uka G irl poster, I started to think.
The in game posters are not as big as the ones in real life and they look like scrap. see the joke? Not funny? ok, moving on.

I wanted my posters to look good and be seen!

This mod adds 10 or 20 large scale posters that you can customize!

Ed the eyebot for scale as I had no bananas!

To Customize them go to

And edit
PostersForYou01.dds to PostersForYou10.dds and PostersForYou11.dds to PostersForYou20.dds if you have Version B

You can use GIMP a free editing software thats as good as photoshop.

The posters images sizes are 735×1024 and the canvas sizes are 1024×1024 use the blueprint image as a reference.

Here are some examples to inspire you!

2.5 Has Transparency And Now have a Glow layer

To edit the Glow layer go to textures\PostersForYou and edit the corresponding number PostersForYouXX_g.dds to your poster number.
All you have to basically do is add white, to the parts you want to glow.
The more similar to the poster the better and any area left black will not glow.

Have fun and please do add some screenshots of how you use this mod!


If you are having trouble editing the file this may help you!
See below.

Open a PostersForYouXX.dds file without the load mipmaps checked.
Then drag or paste your new artwork into it as a new layer above the original in the layer menu.

Do not adjust the canvas sizes of the PostersForYouXX, it has to be 1024×1024
The image must be in the center and must be 735×1024 to work within game

You may have to do some editing to your new artwork, but as long as its 735×1024 it should be ok.

Then click on layers and click «Merge Down», so it’s all one layer.
Then go to File and click on «overwrite PostersForYouXX.dds»
Its just below the save, save as, save copy options.

Now close the window or program.
You may get a message saying «Save the changes to image», just click Discard Changes.
As long as you did overwrite it should have been saved.
And now it should work in game. 🙂

If you are not using gimp I can’t really help you, I have not used anything else in a long time.
I am sorry.
Oh and this is a good way to edit and save any dds texture

Fallout 4 «Локализация баннеров, плакатов и прочих надписей»

Описание:
Модификация заменяет англоязычный текст в игре на русский. Заменен язык на большей части дорожных баннеров и нескольких объектах по типу аптечки. Начата работа над плакатами и надписями.

Логотипы и названия специально не трогал. Если у вас будут предложения по более корректному переводу уже готовых текстур или еще не затронутых, вам необходимо будет сделать скриншот этой текстуры (по желанию) и написать свой вариант перевода. Имена всех, кто решит помочь, буду добавлять после каждого обновления.

Я только учусь всем премудростям базового моддинга. Буду рад услышать замечания и подсказки связанные с данным модом.

Инструкция по установке:

1] Замена строчки в файле Fallout.ini

— Заходим в папку «мои документы», примерное расположение:
\С:\Пользователи\Имя компьютера\Документы\My Games\Fallout4

— Открываем файл Fallout.ini обычным блокнотом и находим пункт [Archive]

— Нам понадобится строчка sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\

— Итог: sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, textures\, meshes\, scripts\, sound\, music\, misc\, shadersfx\, interface\, programs\, materials\

— Данный этап настройки необходим, чтобы игра смогла увидеть папку «sound», в которой и лежит вся наша музыка.

— Заходим в папку с игрой и копируем нашу папку «textures» в папку «Data».

Уже есть отличный перевод от Хиро. Зачем ещё один делать, тем более, где особого перевода и нет? А надписи переводить нужно. Как говаривал Пётр I «что бы дурь каждого видна была». Не по такому поводу, но подходит.

Я никого не хочу обвинять, но мне кажется, что я вижу в этих текстурках что то до боли знакомое мне. Местами.
