TL;DR VATS is disabled and perks that give bonus in VATS are modified to be useful again.

Also, if you like VATS, I’m completely fine with it as long as you just walk away.

Not 100% sure that modifications to perks that player already acquired apply correctly.
Nothing I can do about it; it’s engine problem.
Use console commends to remove and re-acquire modified perks to be certain.

Awareness
1 Time slows down by 30% for 5 seconds when combat begins.
2 Now time slows down by 50% for 8 seconds when combat begins.

Concentrated Fire
1 You do 20% more damage to enemies with 30% or less health.
2 Now you do 30% more damage to enemies with 40% or less health.
3 Additionally, you do 50% more damage to enemies with 20% or less health.

Sniper
3 Non-automatic, scoped rifles do 100% more limb damage.

Quick Hands
2 Now you can reload all guns even faster. (50% faster; rank 1 is 35% faster)

Blitz
1 You do 50% more melee weapon damage for 5 seconds after sprinting more than 2 seconds.
2 Now you do 80% more melee weapon damage for 8 seconds after sprinting more than 1 second.

Gun-Fu
1 Every time you switch to a pistol, rifle, or heavy weapon, you do 10% more damage with them for 10 seconds. The bonus stacks up to twice.
2 Gun-Fu bonus stacks up to three times. Gun bashing does 50% more damage.
3 Gun-Fu bonus stacks up to four times, and lasts 5 more seconds.

Grim Reaper’s Sprint
1 Any kill has a 15% chance to restore all Action Points.
2 Any kill now has a 25% chance to restore all Action Points.
3 Any kill now has a 35% chance to restore all Action Points and reduce incoming damage by 50% for 5 seconds.

Penetrator
1 You ignore 20% of a target’s armor.
2 Now you ignore 30% of a target’s armor.

V.A.N.S.
1 Track nearby human targets for 30 seconds.
2 Track human and robotic targets further away for 30 seconds.

Critical Banker
1 You have 5% chance of critical hit on enemies with full health.
2 Now you have 10% chance of critical hit on enemies with full health.
3 Now you have 15% chance of critical hit on enemies with full health.
4 Now you have 15% chance of critical hit on enemies with 75% or more health.

Work In Progress:

— No clue how to change Mysterious Stranger perk; best possible implementation would be one in which the NPC spawns somewhere in the middle of a combat. I would have to do a lot more than tweaking perk entries for that, so currently it’s untouched.

— Companion perks, legendary weapon mods, when I have time to look into them.

— Let me know if there is other game play elements that are VATS-dependent!

Description
This mod drastically increases the distance from which you can target NPCs in V.A.T.S from. Values such as hit chance or damage are untouched. Useful for scoping out enemies or when you are just too lazy to aim! If it’s spawned and in your line of sight, you can V.A.T.S it!

The NMM installer now includes optional choices to increase hit chance from larger distances, alternatives are:

BASE MOD
Only increases V.A.T.S distance, hit chance stays vanilla.

BASE MOD + INCREASED HIT CHANCE
Increases V.A.T.S distance and slightly increases your hit chances from longer distances. About 10-30% hit chance from max distance, depending on your stats and perks. Very low effect on hit chance in close quarters.

BASE MOD + HIGH INCREASE HIT CHANCE
Increases V.A.T.S distance and increases your hit chance from longer distances. About 30-60% hit chance from max distance, depending on your stats and perks. Moderate effect on hit chance in close quarters.

BASE MOD + MAXED INCREASE HIT CHANCE (CHEAT MODE)
Increases V.A.T.S distance and maxes your hit chance from any distance. 95% on all body parts at all times.

With Nexus Mod Manager (NMM):
1. Download the ESP with the manager.
2. Activate the mod in Nexus Mod Manager and finish the installation.

Manual installation:
1. Manually download the file.
2. Open the zips using a file archiver.
3. Extract the ESP into the Data folder of your Fallout 4 installation.
4. Open plugins.txt (located in C:\Users\(username\AppData\Fallout4) and add the name of the ESP to the list.

Uninstallation
With Nexus Mod Manager (NMM):
1. Deactivate the mod by double-clicking it.
2. Mark the deactivated mod and delete it.

Manual uninstallation:
1. Remove all files associated with the mod from your Data folder.
2. Remove the name of the ESP from plugins.txt.

Incompatibility
• Mods that change the fVatsEngageDistance value, which I don’t think any mod does at the moment.

Known issues
• None so far.

Этот фикс должен исправить очень раздражающую ошибку, которая заставляет VATS «замерзать» в режиме Выживания. Я случайно обнаружил причину ошибки в VATS и исправил это, изменив всего навсего один скрипт который привязан к режиму Выживания. Любые моды, которые перезаписывают скрипт HC_ManagerScript.pex не будут совместимы с этим фиксом, но я добавил в папку фикса исходник HC_ManagerScript.psc, так что любой Автор мода может добавить исправление в своих модах, если захотят. This mod should fix the very annoying bug which causes VATS to freeze in survival mode. In the process of creating my first mod Stop The Bleeding, I accidentally discovered the cause of the VATS freezing bug and I was able to fix it by modifying the survival mode manager script. Any mods which overwrite the HC_ManagerScript.pex file will not be compatible with this mod, but I have included the source so any mod author can add the fix to their mod if they wish. This fix is already included with STB and based on feedback from several people it does work, however please note that some mods can still cause the issue to occur, but this fix by its self should remove any VATS freezing issues from the vanilla game.

Mods that may cause freezing:

— Automatic eat or drink mods
— Auto-Stimpak mods

Basically what I discovered is that if the Player.EquipItem() function is called while in VATS it will cause the game to freeze up. The survival mode manager script uses the EquipItem() function to equip «potions» which apply the effects of diseases and other effects such as hunger and thirst, because consuming potions is the only way to make the effects show up in the Pip-Boy. I took this approach when creating STB to make bleeding effects show in the Pip-Boy but I noticed if I got shot in VATS it would freeze, which led me to the cause. To fix the vanilla VATS freeze bug I altered HC_ManagerScript and added a potion queue so that if VATS is active potions are added to the queue instead of being immediately consumed, so they can be safely consumed after VATS has exited, at which point you should become hungry, thirsty, tired, etc.

Info For Mod Authors

If your mod overrides HC_ManagerScript.pex it should be easy to merge the changes from this fix, you can quickly see all changes by examining the diff of the vanilla source code against the source code provided with this mod. The way I detect whether or not VATS is active in this fix is to use RegisterForMenuOpenCloseEvent(«VATSMenu») and then toggle a boolean value when OnMenuOpenCloseEvent detects VATS opening or closing (credit to cdante for the tip).

IMPORTANT: If your mod adds something to the game which could cause a potion to be equipped to the player while they are in VATS then it will cause freezing. The simplest solution is to use IsMovementControlsEnabled() because movement is always disabled when VATS is active, a timer can be used to delay the equipping of a potion until VATS has ended. However a more standardized and reliable solution would be to make use of the TryEquipPotion() function which has been added to HC_ManagerScript.

This mod adds a perk which allows the player to get critical hits outside of V.A.T.S. The base chance for a critical hit is determined by the player’s luck. Each SPECIAL point invested in luck will increase the critical hit chance by 1 percent.

— The vanilla perk ‘Four Leaf Clover’ has been modified to increase your critical hit chance to a maximum of 1.8 % per luck at rank 4.
— The vanilla perk ‘Iron Fist’ rank 5 has been modified so your critical punching hits will paralyze your target for 2 seconds even outside of V.A.T.S.
— This mod will also make legendary weapon effects like ‘Freezing’ and ‘Enraging’, which are triggered by critical hits, work outside of V.A.T.S.
— The vanilla chem ‘Overdrive’ will still increase your critical hit chance outside of V.A.T.S. by 25%.
— The vanilla magazines like ‘Guns and Bullets’ and the vanilla perk ‘Better Criticals’ will increase the damage dealt by your critical hits outside of V.A.T.S.
— The critical hit chance is not limited. Example: A player with 15 points in luck and the perk ‘Four Leaf Clover’ at rank 4 will have a critical hit chance of 27%.

— fixed a bug where the paralyzing effect of ‘Iron fist’ rank 5 could be triggered by any weapon.

The critical hit multiplier of the perk ‘Four Leaf Clover’ has been lowered to 0.2% per rank.

Installation:

Just download and enable the mod. You don’t have to use a console command or take any drugs in order to get the perk.

The notification in the top left corner which indicates a critical hit won’t appear on every critical hit if your critical hits are too frequent.
