I’ve already made a mod like this for Fallout 3, so I decided to make one for New Vegas. The values will be

the same.
This mod modifies Body Parts Data to make fights more tactical. (Your enemies won’t be able to take 5 shots in the head and stand still, same thing for you. )
Fights are deadlier.

*Body parts damages:
.Damage multipliers have been modified to make fights more tactical.
.Headshots are lethal,legs and arms can be crippled more easily.
.Robots armors are more resistant but they still have weak points.

*Explosion effects:
.Knockdown effect added on most explosions (grenades, mines, cars. ) and explosions do more damages.
.Pulse grenades are like «force» grenades, damages done by them are reduced, knockdown effect added.

*Game Settings :
.Your speed when one of your leg is crippled (or both) has been reduced.

Realistic Damage is based on as you might have guessed ‘Realistic Damage’. The mod multiplies damage based on what sort of Creature the enemy is. This means that some creatures might be killed more easier then others while other creatures can be very difficult to kill. Also this is my first mod ever

Introduction

First of all this is my very first mod and thus please understand if its not perfect, I am still learning a lot about the G.E.C.K tool and modding in general and decided that I should start with something simple like changing the damage that creatures and you get. Too be honest it was still a bit difficult since I had to get used to it, I thought I made mistakes and I might still have made them and thats why I would love it if you guys could give me feedback and idea’s for this mod. I want to expand this mod further and further and I allready have plans for the next update (Which will come as soon as I find out how it works)

What does this mod do?

This mod changes the damage multiply for all Enemies based on what sort of creature this is. Supermutants for example are stronger then humans and thus take less damage while insects like the bloatfly can be killed in one shot. Robots for example have some parts that are stronger but other parts may be weaker. The general assumption you can take is that for Humanoid creatures the max damage mul tiply is 20 times (On the head for Humans) and for animals it is 29.5 Times (Guess which one).

What sort of gameplay do I recommoned?

I reccomend that this mod is played on Very Hard due to the enemies being thougher and the fact that if you play this on very easy its basicly godmodding, so then why is this mod not in Cheating? Well because the same applies for you meaning that if they shoot you in the head its byebye and time to start over. I also reccomend that you don’t rush in but thats up to you.

So whats next for this mod?

Well Updates ofcourse! But in all seriousness there are a lot of things I wish to add to this mod such as damage based on what gun you use because right now frankly most guns kill in two shots on the head. However I am going to base this on Real Life gun facts for guns we have in our world and the chance in percantage of survival such as a 9 MM pistol shot to the head you have a 20% chance to survive. I also want to add damage from Posion and if possible maybe bleeding or cripple effects.

So a list of what the future will bring us:
Damage based on Gun and Ammo type
Damage based on chance in percantage of survival for guns that we have in our world
Damage based on Realism for Posion and maybe Bleeding (Poison damage has now been adjusted)
Damage based for crippled effects

What can you do to help this mod become better?

Well you can send me all your credit/Debit card information for starters?

Well this mod would greatly bennefit from feedback and if neccessary bug Reports, maybe I messed a model up? Or its really way too OP for you the player? (Don’t say that too fast, first experience being ganged up by Gecko’s.) Or the other way around and the enemies beat you way too easily?

So in short send me feedback please!

Whats new in the mod?!

As of Version 0.3 Poison damage has been adjusted for enemies, the duration has been extended for every creature or shortened when I thought that was neccessary.(As far as I know if not please do tell) The damage or as it was displayed by the name of magnitude (I am pretty sure that is the damage output if not this will be a major failure on my part) has overal been increased or decreased with a longer duration. The general duration is usually above a minute and the longest duration is six minutes.

Hey hey hey guys, happy New year (writing this on the second of january 2018) and I’m back with a quick update! Now you don’t need the pre order DLC anymore! You only need the expansions that add new enemies and locations ofcourse. I hope you guys enjoy and I am going to be uploading a optional file for the vanilla game soon. I am still planning on updating this mod a lot but right I have to focus a lot on my studies and I am learning on how to make models for games so I can release my New Beverages mod soon!

Ps: Don’t worry I’m listening to the comments and I am adjusting the grenade rifle thingy.

This mod might not be compatible with other mods that directly change the races so other overhaul mods like this might conflict. I am looking into this to find out how I can make it more compatible. This won’t affect custom races most likely.

This is an unofficial update to Wrankss’s Realistic Weapons Damages mod. It adds some neglected creatures from the original game as well as those added by the official DLCs. I know I’m very late to the party and am updating a 3 year old mod, but if you’re like me and were introduced to the original mod via Gopher’s Mod Clinic only to find out it doesn’t change the damage modifiers on DLC creatures, it’s sort of a turn off to using it.

Details
=======
This update, as per the original mod, adjusts body part health percentages and damage multipliers to make combat more tactical and unforgiving. You can read all the details on the original mod’s page.

The following is what this update does IN ADDITION to the original mod:

-Ghost People damage modifiers are now more in line with standard NPC damage modifiers. Seeing as they’re mutated humans (rather than some unholy abomination), this makes sense.
-Yao Guai damage modifiers are more akin to Deathclaws. You should have listened to Three Dog about not feeding them.
-The Green Gecko is now more like its lesser gecko brethren. May consider buffing it, but I think it’s buffed enough.
-Think Tanks are more like their robobrain cousins. Aim for the brain!
-Cyberdogs are like regular dogs, but a bit tougher. On average, they’re 1/3 tougher than their fleshy counterparts. Except for the head. Having your brain exposed for all to see may look cool, but it doesn’t really help in combat.
-Don’t think I left out Rex either. Rex was not added in the original mod, but he is now. Be a bit more protective of him, alright?
-Robo-scorpions are more like their radscorpion cousins, but 2/3 tougher on average. As per the original mod, their weakpoints are their stingers. Watch out for X-42 though. It’s more akin to a Queen Radscorpion, only 80% tougher on its stinger.

I obviously took some creative liberties here and there. If you don’t like them, feel free to let me know and I may consider changing them.

Install
=======
THIS PATCH REQUIRES DEAD MONEY, HONEST HEARTS, AND OLD WORLD BLUES. NO IFS, ANDS, OR BUTS ABOUT IT!

THIS PATCH IS BALANCED AROUND THE STANDARD VERSION OF THE ORIGINAL MOD. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE STANDARD VERSION AND NOT THE ALTERNATIVE.

Uninstall
=========
1. Remove RWD-NV v1.4 [Standard Version] Update+DLC.esp via NMM or manually. That’s it.

Incompatibility
===============
This patch works the exact same way the original mod does (it modifies body part modifiers), so it’s only incompatible with mods that change the same values it does. As it doesn’t modify actual weapon values, it is compatible with every weapon mod ever made and always will be.

YES, it is compatible with Project Nevada.
YES, it is compatible with [INSERT MOD HERE] so long as it does not modify body part modifiers.

SOMETHING TO NOTE:
The original mod, however, does have some SLIGHT incompatibilities with EVE, due to both mods modifying how certain explosions work. This can be easily fixed by setting RWD to load AFTER EVE, if you want the original mod’s changes anyway.

Future Plans
=======
Adding or adjusting more things as I come across them. I think I pretty much covered everything, but I’m sure you guys will let me know if I missed something, or I’ll find it myself.

Maybe making a version for the alternative version of the original mod if there’s more requests.

Maybe making a «re-balanced» version. To be honest, there are some changes that I feel could have been done a little better, but that’s up for debate at this point.
