This mod fixes what Ubisoft left unfixed. Dylan’s Realism Mod changes Far Cry 2 from an Africa-based sedan and pickup truck simulator into a (semi accurate)
African conflict simulator. Realistic weapon damage, recoil, realistic ammo loads and weapon reliability have been added, along with a more effective stealth suit, and revamped AI weapons. (No more SPAS12s and AR15s for militiamen). Checkpoint AI has been tweaked as well. Checkpoint guards now have a 60% chance to chase you after passing through, as opposed to 90%-100% in vanilla. Militiamen also communicate more frequently in combat, and use suppressing fire more often. However, you are now as vulnerable as the AI. A single burst of rifle fire can kill you, so you are probably going to need that extra ammo and stealth suit.

It’s nearing the two year anniversary of this mod, and I’d like to thank everyone who has made it a success. You haven’t been forgotten. To quote last year’s post, «I’d like to thank the fans of this mod and all of the people who have downloaded, watched, or told others about this mod in the past year for making it a success. «.
I am revisiting Far Cry 2, and there is a new version of the mod in the works. What I’m going to look at changing with Version 1.5 is mainly fine tuning the damage system and modifying enemy voice chatter and stamina. Voice chatter and stamina is simple, I want enemies to talk more and I want the player to be able to run further. Those changes are in testing now. However, the big change for 1.5 will be the damage system. I am considering matching the player’s health more closely to the enemy health, and giving enemies a little more of a fighting chance. I’m not going back to vanilla FC2, but instead of them being glass cannons and you being a hardened glass cannon, I’m looking at putting the player on level with the enemy troops health-wise and making them both able to resist a little more fire than Version 1.4. Leg and arm damage has been reduced so that rifles are more useful damage-wise and pistols won’t be able to instakill enemies with a single shot to the legs from 100m away. I am also planning for the player’s health blocks to regenerate slower and take longer to start regenerating. If you have some comments or ideas for the next version of the mod, feel free to PM me.

XBoy360 В Far Cry 3 они это исправили, но получилось не лучше. Потому как зачистив блокпост, ты зачищал и территорию вокруг него. В результате зачистив все блокпосты, карта оказывалась пуста, в некого пострелять. От чего становилось скучно. В результате появлялись моды которыЕ в меню заселяли блокпосты обратно.

Janekste Ты наверное один такой, кому не было скучно. А пятый фарик во всём уступает даже второму. Погляди видео сравнения механик этих игр. Во второй части много внимания к деталям, о которых мы почему то забыли. Даже раненых солдат утаскивают в безопасное место, а выстрел в ногу заставлял хромать врага.

Автор испоганил карту,и убрал перемещение к пулемёту в боевом грузовике))
Своевременный патч для отличной игры. Осталось автору сделать патч для третьего постала.
В Far Cry 2 бесило скорее не респавн блокпостов, а то как быстро это происходило, плюс сами блокпосты стояли прямо на дорогах через которые ты постоянно передвигаешься. В конце концов в ассасинах последних зачищенные территории тоже через какое-то время заселяются. Но это не мешает.

Мне тоже бесит респавн, НО. В третьей части ещё была живность опасная, а во второй кроме блокпостов ничего небыло. Делать бы было совсем нече. Лучше, как мне кажется, было бы оставить респавн, но сделать блокпосты свой-чужой в зависимости от того чью миссию взял.
Вообще никаких изменений не увидел, как было так и есть. Ни о чем. Просто плацебо для тех кто легко ведется.

Realism+ improves the graphics, rebalances weapons, adds new features and quality of life improvements, fixes bugs, unlocks dlc and makes subtle changes to the gameplay to add more flavour and variety while making combat deadlier for both the player and enemies.
Steam, GOG and Ubisoft Connect are all supported. Every feature is available in all languages and while using either mouse and keyboard or controller.
Realism+ is for people who want an enhanced version of the original game but hate bullet-sponge enemies.
I have other versions of this mod that have the same base features but different focusses.
If you want the game’s original combat, including bullet-sponge enemies, check out Vanilla+.
If you hate malaria and weapon degredation check out Chill+.
If you want to sprint fast and jump high like Crysis check out Insanity+.

The Vanilla+ Mod Collection
Four Different Flavours of Far Cry 2
I have created four different mods for Far Cry 2 so that whatever your preference or playstyle there is something here for you. My aim is that whether you’ve never played Far Cry 2 or you’ve played it a hundred times there is a new experience to be had. Each mod has different options to choose from and in total there are 24 ways to play.
The base game has been tweaked and improved upon in addition to whole new features that have been added.
These are the best of the brand new features, available in every mod within the collection:
All of these come along with lots of gameplay tweaks including increased stamina, increased jump height, reduced fall damage, faster vehicles, swapped enemy patrol vehicles, less bullet spongey enemies and much more!
Check out each mod’s page for a full feature list, but let’s take a look at what the different versions include.
Far Cry 2: Vanilla+
This is my original mod, designed with the purpose of enhancing Far Cry 2 without changing the original feel. Seriously, every mod focuses on realism while the vanilla game is already great!
It might not be to everyone’s taste but I enjoyed Far Cry 2 as it came, malaria and bullet sponge enemies included. If you’ve never played before this version is first playthrough appropriate while adding enough to make the experience fresh for veterans.
There are no exclusive features in this version but if it ain’t broke don’t fix it!
Far Cry 2: Realism+
Something about Far Cry 2 inspires the desire for a brutal, immersive experience. The more recent Far Cry games have turned into playgrounds of destruction but Far Cry 2’s atmosphere and mechanics make you feel like the whole world is coming for you without mercy.
To cater to this Far Cry 2: Realism+ comes with two main exclusive features:
The first feature is 2x damage for both the player and enemies. This makes combat much more unforgiving and to cope with that enhanced first aid is included where the player can heal when out of healing syringes by holding the heal button.
The second feature is limited navigation. You’ll have to be aware of your surroundings as the map no longer shows your position, undiscovered outposts aren’t marked and there are no more objective arrows pointing you in the right direction. Coloured roadsigns that lead to objectives are also removed.
These features are available separately or together so the gameplay can be as realistic as you like.
Far Cry 2: Chill+
Malaria getting you down? Getting annoyed by weapons exploding in your hands? Well Far Cry 2: Chill+ is for those that want to relax in Africa without the hassle of more survival orientated features.
I’ve included exclusive features designed to make things a little easier, such as unlimited stamina, unlimited breathing underwater and no fall damage. Sit back and relax with every weapon being available at the start of the game for reduced prices. Your buddies are invincible so there’s no fear of being out there alone. The most common complaints have also been addressed and time between malaria attacks has been increased x10 and weapon reliability has been increased x5. All of this comes with enhanced first aid so you’ll always be able to heal yourself.
Far Cry 2: Insanity+
This is Far Cry 2 as you’ve never played it before. Playing more like a mix of Far Cry and Crysis, Far Cry 2: Insanity+ allows you to approach every encounter in a new way. Fight from rooftops and cliffs that were previously inaccessible, jump down from mountains or hang gliders as you attack, use hills as ramps and fly in vehicles that have a massive boost in power. You are now your enemies’ worst nightmare.
Your enemies know you’re coming though and have brought their heaviest firepower to try and fend you off. They come with their end-game weapons, plus extra grenade launchers. Enemy drivers always come equipped with flamethrowers so be prepared to watch the world burn. Your buddies also got the message and brought their own big guns, along with flamethrowers and grenade launchers.

Superhitos Мод хороший,а самое интересное что скорость машин прописана в файле Dunia.dll,его можно поставить с любым модом!
мооды шлак один (не один а много), ни одного полезного, сделали бы мод чтобы враги на постах перестали респаунится, я бы установил.

Improved the animation for machete stealth kills, credit to dannyhl2 for finding this method
Swapped the bus stop map textures to a more hand painted style.
Added AI upscaled weapon textures to the standard install (the same textures were previously found in the additional customisation texture pack).
Added an AI upscaled dirt road texture to the standard install (the same texture was previously found in the additional customisation texture pack).
Added two AI upscaled sign textures to the standard install that I’d accidentally missed out in the previous version.
Tweaked enemy weapon progression:
1) A more diverse selection of weapons will be used during the hotel attack.
2) There is a 0% chance of top tier weapons being used during the tutorial.
Added apostrophes to ‘Le Milieu’ on Michele’s page in the character select screen.
Fixed a bug where the MAC-10 was silent.
Fixed a mistake I made where I increased the reliability of the sawed off shotgun by too much. It has been reduced to a 20% increase over default to account for the gun lacking a reliability upgrade in the shop.
Removed the fix for bouncing NPCs as multiple people reported being damaged when touched by npcs during certain animations.
— Removed NPC edits that were meant to fix bouncing at high FPS.
— Capped FPS at 60 (the old fix for bouncing NPCs).
— Added FPS cap options to ‘Extra Customisations’ (30 FPS, 60 FPS, Unlimited FPS).
