Перед тем как писать, что русификация не работает убедитесь, что вы сделали все верно.
1) Вы можете проверить, установлена ли русификация правильно. Для этого нужно зайти в папку с FlatOut 2 и проверить её на начилие папок uninstall и uninstall_data.
Как найти папку куда установлен FlatOut 2?
В библиотеке клиента Steam жмем правой кнопкой мыши на FlatOut 2, в появившемся меню выбираем Свойства. В Свойствах выбираем вкладку Локальные файлы. После нажимаем на Просмотреть локальные файлы.
2) При возникновении ошибки «Filed to find Steam» перезапустите ваш клиент Steam, если это не помогло, то установите Steamworks SDK.
Где искать Steamworks SDK?
Находясь в библиотеке клиента Steam, наведите мышь на слово БИБЛИОТЕКА, или нажмите на слово ИГРЫ, которое расположено чуть ниже. В появившемся меню, выбираем Инструменты. В списке ищем Steamworks SDK Redist и устанавливаем.
3) При возникновении ошибок типа «Fatal error» следует выполнить проверку целостности файлов игры и переустановку русификации.
Как начать проверку целостности кеша?
В библиотеке клиента Steam жмем правой кнопкой мыши на FlatOut 2, в появившемся меню выбираем Свойства. В Свойствах выбираем вкладку Локальные файлы. После нажимаем на Проверить целостность файлов игры.
4) Нестабильная работа игры или ошибка «Cannot open display mode» решается сбросом настроек.
Нужно задать параметр запуска «-setup» без кавычек.
Как задать параметры запуска?
В библиотеке клиента Steam жмем правой кнопкой мыши на FlatOut 2, в появившемся меню выбираем Свойства. В Свойствах выбираем пункт Установить параметры запуска.
Для запуска самой игры нужно удалить параметр запуска «-setup».

The mod manager is included in the main mod part 1, to make a new patch file when needed or to go back to stock patch file.
Updates:
Whats new:
-57 new cars, 7 cars in carpack1 have been replace with new cars and carpack 2 has 50 new cars. The Flatout game hit a wall after trying to load 141 cars, so this will be the limit on how many cars ( 140 ) Flatout 2 will load at one time.
-new hud, new buttons/fonts for the game, updated database for mod extension to 140 cars.
-if you have not tried any carpack2 cars that were in beta stage, then I guess cars 91-140 will be new to you.
-We have combined the updates with carpack 2, this in turn means there is no use for the «foj’s_community_mod_overrite.bfs» as it was combined with carpack2, so that file can be deleted from game folder. The new patch file looks like this:

We now have FOJ Community Mod with Carpack 2 packup into one rar file that is an exe file format. When exe is clicked, it will unpack the bfs files for the mod.
Bug fixed:
Replays for single player stunt mode is now fixed and you will not be stuck in replay mode, thanks goes to «Peter Greene» on empire forums.

Установка:
1. Скопируйте файл CustomCarMod_v1_2.bfs в главный каталог игры.
2. Откройте Блокнотом файл filesystem и добавьте в самый конец строчку «CustomCarMod_v1_2.bfs» (без кавычек).
3. Сохраните внесенные изменения.
4. Запустите игру и создайте новый профиль.
5. Зайдите в меню ввода кодов и введите GIEVEPIX, чтобы открыть все машины.
я уже качать не буду у меня 190 тачек

Короче Alexdragster надо распаковать архив который ты скачал в папку с игрой, потом удалить файл patch и сам архив, открой Блокнотом файл filesystem и добавь в самый конец строчку «CustomCarMod_v1_2.bfs» (без кавычек).Игра запустится

ну тачки чёрные у меня тоже дохира тачек некакого толку а на чёрных както не прикольно кататся. да и подскажите как сделать что бы тачки были своими чветами и корпусами))) заранее спасибо!

Люди не тупите. Напишите в поисковике «машины для flatout 2» и устанавливайте как обычный мод

Ой дураки, этот мод позволяет добавлять новые машины и редактировать иъ или ставить скины на них. Там редактируешь характеристики тачки через car.bed в data/cars/car46-90
вы игру запороли и всё
