Extended Base Building (merge with 3 points level up and Marksman Combo 1 +75)
Many mods use the same filenames and will overwrite one another so you must decide which one you want to use (check the exact filename you are installing. You can request the mod creator to merge his mods with another.
NOTE: The drag and drop will ask permission to overwrite even if the final filenames are different because the «dropzone» folder name is the same for every mod.
Sample location of dropzone folder: 
To uninstall, ensure that you have fully exited the game, rename the dropzone folder to any name you want or delete it all together. If you only want to disable a particular mod just rename it. Do this only when the game is not active.
Incompatible or non-updated mods can cause or exacerbate game crashes and other problems.
When the game is updated most mods need to be updated too. Temporarily rename the dropzone folder to disable all mods or selectively rename each folder to disable them. Wait for mod updates. The carry-weight and storage folder called «settings» are usually not affected by game updates.

🛑 My Generation Zero Non-Combat Helper Mods are designed primarily to reduce artificial difficulties imposed by the game or results of erroneous calculations. I must admit that some aspects of non-combat modifications could also be utilized as combat helper, to some extent, but not to the point of breaking the fun and challenges offered in the game. Mods are recommended for use on single player.
🟡 Extended Base Building by ModiLuminate (merge with 3 points level up and Marksman Combo 1 +75)
Unlimited walls (all types except door) and lights, 25 pillbox turrets and guard towers.
I love building things, I hate it when GenZero developers take the fun out by putting building caps. However, this mod limits turret and guard tower as they directly impact combat.
Very Important.
1. Once the base is built with the mod, the save file can be shared and played with or without mods on single and multiplayer. You can repair structure but will not be able to add new ones unless they have not yet reached the game’s default limits. NOTE: The 150 limit on walls in the game is a shared and combined limit. You can’t build 150 reinforced walls and expect to build another 150 straight or low walls. This mod remove those limits.
2. Based on testing, building a lot of structures did not cause any visible effect on my PC’s performance.
3. If this mod is active on a host during a multiplayer session, many structures, especially the turrets, will be invisible to any guest who does not have the mod. However things will show up, even for unmodded guests, if the host exit his game, temporarily disable this mod and reload his save file.

Another frequently asked question is «Why didn’t I increase weapon damage, ammo damage, rate of fire and other directly-related damage factors?» Answer: My intention is not to ruin the immersion players could experience from the game but improve immersion and QOL by reducing some artificial difficulties.
🟡 Insanity Difficulty mod.
Download insanity mod. You must start a fresh, new game and you must play on guerrilla mode to experience the mod’s full effect. If you wish to keep your weapons and ammo from your previous game play, please follow this guide.
Important:
This mod has higher AI capability than the Guerrilla Plus mod and the number
of leveled rivals are increased from default 8 and cannot be reverted
back to default once they are spawned even if you uninstall this mod.No need to start a new game if you are already using the Guerrilla Plus mod.
This can be used to generate an customized scenario which can be played later with or without mods. Example: The some 300 rivals shown on the map below can be played without mods, although it was generated with the help of mods. However the improved AI part of Insanity or Super Insanity mode will not take
effect. For that to get enabled the host must have active mods and the
rest of the players must at least have the launch text option enabled.
🛑 I have begun developing Insanity Plus or Super Insanity mod to rebalance the game, especially now that shock ammo and explosive ammo have made the bots a lot easier to kill. Please email me your feedback about Guerrilla Plus difficulty so I can include them as features of the Insanity Plus or Super Insanity mod.
You are welcome to use the Super Insanity mod to generate a Customized
Scenario, which you can play with your friends on multiplayer session
even without mods. However if you want to experienced a much improved
AI, I recommend you activate the AI part of the mod.

Hacking Rebalanced
This is a simple mod that changes the success chance to hack any machine to 100%. The skill felt very frustrating when trying to hack, failing and then having to wait 60 seconds to try again so this should fix that.
Isn’t it kinda broken now?
Maybe. Being able to consistently take a machine out of the fight for 40 seconds every 60 seconds is pretty strong. With the Hacker skill it could also provide a lot of damage and distract a whole group however the hacked AI is still pretty shit and doesn’t do much damage to it’s former allies or spends most of the time it’s hacked staring into space into space.
So yeah it’s kinda broken. I’ll look into rebalancing the hack duration and cooldown in the future to make it a little less broken. Maybe 60 seconds duration but 2 min cooldown?
Can I use this with anything other than version 1858983 of Generation Zero?
What an oddly specific question. I wouldn’t recommend it. Due to the above, the whole robot entity being overwritten by this mod, it would probably conflict with any update that changes the enemies in anyway. You can do it but when it doesn’t work don’t blame me. Hell even if this doesn’t work with the correct version I’m not taking any responsibility 😇

Generation Zero does not officially have any modding tools to create user modifications, at the current time to do so you’d have to download a tool called DECA [1] (short for DE Constructor for Apps). Viewmodels should always scale with the player’s FOV, but for whatever reason some devs don’t seem to understand this. Generation Zero’s low FOV viewmodels were particularly jarring while playing at a high FOV, so I fixed them.
Here you’ll find seven options, each providing a different viewmodel FOV. The options range from FOV values of 50 through 80 (in increments of 5), so every player should be able to find a viewmodel FOV scaled to match their preferred FOV value. This will also effect ironsights and scopes.
I’ve also provided optional versions that remove the ironsight zoom effect.
Just make your choice and drop the ‘dropzone’ folder into your game folder (where GenerationZero_F.exe is located). Keep in mind that Generation Zero needs a special launch argument to load mods:
