What is this mod? This is a conversion mod, bringing all the Titan Quest: Immortal Throne masteries to Grim Dawn! What can I expect from this mod? Bare minimum, TQ masteries and their skills. I’ve done my best to make these masteries look exactly as they did in TQ, and by bringing over sounds, effects and the UI I’ve been able to replic

Grim dawn мод на инвентарь
It is a design choice. While they have ‘budged’ and made concessions for various other things over the years there has been no indication yet that they intend to significantly modify the stash size/limit.
You either make do, use a stash program (or mod), or play another game (of which you won’t find many with humongous stash, it isn’t like Crate is a ‘holdout’ in this area). But hey, GGG will let you buy (real money) as much stash as you like in PoE I hear.
I earned some stash on poe back in the days for less than the full price + dlc of grim dawn so..
So did you pay for it or not? Cause your wording here both implies simultaneously that you either «earned» the stash in-game for «free».. or that you bought it for «just under» what GD + DLC’s cost?
The use of the word «earned» here doesn’t fit well and implies other means than «cash». And that’s actually a considerable amount of money for «just» stash.
Plus I hear that they purposefully limit your stash size considerably so anyone serious about playing is basically forced to buy it or remain severely limited.
+ what bother me is grim dawn allow me to have like infinite space by making unlimited lvl 1 characters to stores items. So it appear that stash size is just QoL not implemented yet.
I hope you understand well my english.
Sure you could ‘twist’ the logic to mean that if you like. doesn’t make it true that that has anything to do with their decision tho.
I can also give myself unlimited stash by simply swapping in and out the stash save files manually in File Explorer too (it’s tedious, but easy to do and it beats, hands down, making storage alts because I can do it without logging a character in and out).. that doesn’t mean tho that they have a hidden agenda.
Medierra made his view on this clear back in 2014:
«Storage is actually kind of a personal thing, in terms of what is the right amount for people. Some people obviously want infinite storage and wish they could collect and categorize everything in the game. Other people will never hang on to enough stuff to fill up the storage available. Another group likes to collect things but wants some limit that eventually forces decisions about what to keep and what to sell.
Both the second and third type of player are similar, just one makes the decision proactively to sell things before they accumulate and the other holds onto things for a while until they’re pushed into making a decision as space becomes limited.
If you’re a hoarder who wants infinite space, you might be thinking «why on earth would anyone not want to keep all their items?!» Basically because people start to become overwhelmed by the amount of crap that they have. It becomes tiring looking at it all, sifting through it, trying to organize it. Some people love that but most people find it burdensome. Yet, left to their own devices with infinite space, a lot of people would just keep collecting things to the point that they didn’t even want to open their stash and have to deal with all the ♥♥♥♥ in their there.
I think for many, myself included, it also starts to diminish the perceived value of items as you amass a vast trove of them. If you have limited space and you find a duplicate epic weapon, you’ll tend to look at the stats and sell the lesser one. With infinite space, you’d probably keep collecting duplicates, because why not, and you’d end up with a dozen pairs of «The Final March.» Personally, I’d find that kind of immersion breaking looking at pages of multiple «unique» items. I mean, sure, we all know that items can drop infinitely but actually collecting them and seeing multiple copies laid out next to one another for different epics just kind of twists the knife in the gut of my suspension of disbelief.
I don’t have any hard metrics on this but my feeling is that the majority of players fall into the categories of not caring about stash size, wanting a limit on it or not realizing they want a limit on it but would have a detrimental experience if there weren’t one.
Zantai said this more recently:
«The stash topic has been discussed (and answered) to death.
If you wish to have infinite storage, mods exist for that purpose.
The game has as much storage as we feel is ideal for the playerbase as a whole.»
I think it’s pretty clear infinite storage will not be happening.

WHERE IS MY GRIM DAWN FOLDER YO
STEAM: if you can’t find your grim dawn folder it might be under c:\(x86)Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\Common\Grim Dawn\Mods
GOG: c:\(x86)Program Files\Galaxy\Games\Grim Dawn\Mods
GOG however may be elsewhere.. its more configurable than steam, for installations since there IS NO DRM.
YOUR MAIN GAME SAVE IS COMPATIBLE AND WILL NOT BREAK IF YOUR IMPORT YOUR CHARACTER OVER
Your xp will be reset to the beginning of your current level if you play your DAIL touched character in a non level cap raised mod / main campaign.
You will keep your level, skills and extra affixed gear however.
Please use the word DAIL and the version number if your hosting a game with this compilation.
i.e.
DAIL 0042 sot boc
On some updates, for reasons I do not know, you will see directories with the names like Maps_world001.map (which was the latest one created) or levels_world001.map (was the previous versions directory).
If there is a new directory created in the character save folder, which is not in your backup version of the save then make sure you copy the contents of the old level_ or Maps_directory into the new one and your progress is returned.
Hope this helps. Not sure how to do this if you have steam save activated but I suspect if you go to where they are being stored and do the same it will work as well, I haven’t tested that yet.

Somehow it doesn’t work for the shared stash.
Here’s how you do it:
Warning: the instructions below can ruin your save games if you do something wrong. To be safe, make a back-up of your whole save folder first.
You need to open notepad and copy+paste the code below. Later, you will need to turn it into a batch file, but first you must edit the path to your own save folders. Best is to use replace all (ctr+h) in notepad to make sure you don’t miss anything.
USERNAME should be your username
CHARACTERNAME should be the name of your vanilla game hero
MODNAME should be the name of the mod that you are sharing your formulas with. The first time you play a mod a folder is made in the save folder, and MODNAME should be spelled the same. If you don’t want to share formulas you can forget about this one.
Finally, right-click the batch-file and select run as administrator.
If you are successful, deleting either your main hero or your custom hero in-game will delete both. If you ever wish to get rid of these symbolic link shenanigans you must manually delete the two formulas in save\modname\ and your custom hero folder save\custom\_charactername. Or you can use your back-up.
