Once upon a time, war was simpler. There were concrete goals and issues. There were the tools of war, that had always been as such for centuries. Even gunpowder had a century to settle into the engine of war and find its place. But technology marches on, and technology is marching ever quicker.
When the Aquileian soldier storms into battle she carries with her a voice and her weapons. The Elan, once important for any army has faded from the forefront when tanks and planes shrug off small bullets. The weapons of war have jumped miles in less than a decade, from rifles all the way to nuclear weapons.
All around the world, as the dust settles from the wars that consumed the continent, they wait for the next war. A war to truly end all wars. Magic and sorcery give way to steel and technology. Where pegasi and griffons once dominated the skies, they are being pushed away by helicopters and fighters, machine guns tearing through soft tissue.
On the seas, things look the same and yet completely different. Ships look the same as before, but their hearts, and their arms changed from top to bottom. Hearts fueled not by coal or by magic, but by the very foundational forces of the universe. The time of naval cannons are over. The future belongs to planes and to missiles. Admirals and generals at least recognize as such. And indeed, there will be a new look upon war.
For war has changed. War is no longer a small affair between nations over this and that piece of land, but instead the fight between nations for their very survival. The nuclear ghost has been set loose upon the world, and it refuses to go away. War is no longer a polite affair. It is a matter of life or death of entire peoples.

— Почему Equestria at War?
Я мог бы просто сделать мод про «холодную войну», но, на мой взгляд, «холодная война»: мод с «железным занавесом» намного лучше.
Введение этих стран в Эквестрию во время войны дало мне возможность иметь сценарий первого контакта (что мне нравится), работая над отличным модом со многими доступными возможностями. Это дало мне большой опыт для моего первого проекта в моддинге.
— Что такое играбельные нации?
В настоящее время есть три играбельных страны, все они расположены в разных местах мира.
Советский Союз, Соединенные Штаты Америки и Союз европейских наций.
— У вас есть планы на будущее обновление?

Деревья фокусов для многих стран (и мажорных, и минорных) в этом моде проработаны очень, очень неплохо.
Законы и политика значительно расширены и позволяют решить, как вы выбираете управлять своей страной. Вплоть до мелочей.
Большой фокус здесь на производство — новые заводы, подразделения, специалисты, снаряжение…очень много усовершенствовано и разработано именно в этой ветви.
Мод BICE создан не для слабонервных. BICE пугает случайных игроков и требует серьезного и зрелого поднимания стратегии. Проще говоря, BICE не для всех. Если вам нравятся детали, варианты и возможности, то BICE для вас.

Краткое описание:
Этот уникальный мод охватывает события сразу двух мировых войн. Имеются сценарии начиная с 1910 года и заканчивая 1945 годом. В последних 3-х сценариях у стран Оси серьезные проблемы со снабжением, недостатком вооружения и продовольствия, игроку следует это исправить, попутно сдерживая натиск врагов.
Примите участие в Великой Отечественной войне. Спасите Рейх от поражения или помогите Советскому Союзу одержать верх. Вы также можете взять брозды правления одной из ключевых держав в Великой войне и привести свой союз к победе. Выбор остаётся за Вами.
Особенности мода: новые ресурсы, новые виды потребностей (например вашим дивизиям требуются пайки), новые технологии, фокусы, эвенты и т.д.
Мод вводит новую политическую систему, новые идеологии, ресурсы, технологии и многое другое. Вам придётся думать над своим будущим, ведь любое действие повлечёт за собой последствия.

И вот сейчас, после всех этих событий, то, что осталось от былого величия и единства Грифонии, стоит на пороге ещё большего разрушения. Или нет?
