HOI4 Historical Flag Mod

Here I am looking at the flags within Hearts of Iron IV thinking to myself good god what are those terrible horrors! So I decided to go through and fix them all up with historically or semi-historically accurate flags my goal is to keep it as close to history as I can, of course, some nation-states I will have to take liberties on but they will be as historical as they can be.

Oceania Flags (Australia and New Zealand)
North And South American Flags
New European Nations added in update 1.3.1
New Asian Nations added in update 1.3.1

New Flags for most of the new formable nations
New Flags for releasable nations that fit within the time frame of the 1930s and 1940s
Planned and Upcoming Features:
Add the new nations Paradox plans to implement
Fix any mistakes made in previous uploads
Q:Why is Japan not using the rising sun flag?
A: The reason the current fascist flag is the Hinomaru (sun disk flag) is because that is what the state used until the end of WW2. The Rising Sun flag is officially the Imperial Japanese Navy and the Imperial Japanese Army’s flag with the IJA having their sun disk centred instead but was never used on a state level. For this mod, it focuses on using historical state and national flags hence why I am not using the Rising Sun Flag.
Q: I think that (insert flag here) would be good for the mod
A: If there is no state flag available for usage, the one you have shared fits and you can briefly justify the usage of it, I will consider it for use.
Q: I want to use incorporate your mod into the one I am working on is that ok?

Исправлена цветокоррекция и размеры флагов. Согласись, ванильные флаги очень переосветлённые и растянутые. Больше не будет гипер сжатых флагов и противно осветлённых знамён. Мне самому кажется, что Парадоксы просто брали флаги из Википедии и вставляли их по 82×52.
Особенности мода:
Автор предварительно отвечает на вопросы, которые могут у тебя возникнуть:
«Не замечаю отличий твоего мода от других модов с флагами, где разница?»
Разница есть, большинство флагов было подобрано откорректировано в ручную, все флаги приятны глазу, если открыть файл флага из ванильной версии игры или из стороннего мода, где добавлены флаги сравнить их качество всё станет ясно.
«Я увидел у тебя флаги других авторов, не считается это воровством?»
Нет, не считается. Другие люди постарались на славу, я просто позаимствовал их продукт, который свободно распространяется в интернете, адаптировал для игры и довёл их творения до ума, чужую интеллектуальную собственность я не выдаю за свою и никак не продаю, так почему бы и нет?
«Мне не нравятся некоторые флаги, мог бы ты их сменить?»
Не мог бы. Моё мнение совершенно объективно, флаги создавались по историческим образам, они должны вписываться не только в антураж игры, но и непосредственно в события середины XX века. Когда дело заходит до альтернативной истории и где приходится придумывать, всё старается быть похожим если не на историческое подобие, то на приближенное к нему точно.
«Работает ли твой мод в сочетании с другими, например с The Great War?»
Работает, но не корректно. Часть флагов исправно отображается, однако другая перекрывается флагами из непосредственно этого мода. Поэтому не рекомендую играть в другие модификации, где добавлены флаги, в связке с GFP.
«Изменяет ли GFP ещё что либо, кроме флагов?»
Нет, мод взаимодействует только с папкой «flags», что находится в файлах игры, это значит, что кроме флагов стран ничего более задето не будет.
«Могу ли я использовать флаги из мода для своих целей?»
Конечно. Так как многие флаги были честно скопированы с различных ресурсов и я не имею полного авторства за некоторыми, ты имеешь полное право свободно распространять и делиться всеми этими файлами, но, если ты будешь использовать эти флаги отдельно в других проектах, желательно указать моё авторство или предоставить ссылку на страницу мода GFP в Steam.

— all vanilla countries,
— formable nations from Waking the Tiger,
— newly added countries from Man the Guns,
— some completely new flags that were not included in vanilla hoi4 (like Franco-British Union)

— Why does this X african/formable nation has a flag like this?
— Most of the african and formable nations didn’t exist by the time of WW2 so obviously I had to use later flags from ’60s or ’70s.
— Why doesn’t flag X change between democratic/neutral/fascist version?
— Because historically it never changed even when government has changed. For ex. Romania, Japan, Italy etc. were using the same flags even after the change of government.
