Experimental Feathered Raptors

С модом Experimental Feathered Raptors от Demansia рапторы становятся гораздо интереснее благодаря появлению перьев. Само тело ящера остается неизменным, но лапы, хвост и затылочная часть головы теперь получили оперение.

Мод не дает им способностей к полету или других безумных возможностей – это просто смена текстур раптора в игре. Некоторые игроки увидят в этом интересный взгляд на эволюцию этих существ, а кто-то просто порадуется уникальной внешности одного из лучших динозавров в игре.

Magma Spinosaurus

Мод Magma Spinosaurus от IndoraptorPrototype изменяет вид спинозавра. Теперь этот ящер получил гребень черно-красно-золотой расцветки, напоминающей магму.

Кожа на спине динозавра рядом с гребнем также выглядит так, будто бы со спины по всему телу ящера стекает магма. Интересное эстетическое решение, благодаря которому спинозавр станет главной достопримечательностью парка.

Environment Re-Work

Мод Environment Re-Work от DANNYBOB полностью заменяет текстуры окружения в игре. По мнению автора этого мода, в базовой версии окружающая природа выглядела достаточно «уныло», поэтому он решил добавить цвета и деталей, чтобы все стало более живым.

Модификация добавляет такие объекты, как поваленные деревья, изменяет песок для большего сходства с настоящей пустыней, а у камней теперь есть настоящая структура – это больше не бесформенные глыбы. В результате с этим модом динозавры могут разгуливать в гораздо более живом и ярком окружении.

Jurassic Park Expansion Pack

Мод Jurassic Park Expansion Pack от Lucca довольно амбициозный. Автор решил заменить модели и текстуры динозавров игры таким образом, чтобы они соответствовали своим прототипам из оригинальной серии фильмов.

Теперь игроки могут увидеть королевских тиранозавров, напоминающих Бака и Доу из фильма «Парк Юрского периода 2: Затерянный мир», самцов и самок велоцирапторов из «Парка Юрского периода 3», трицератопса из первого «Парка Юрского периода», а также многих других ящеров и животных. Даже культового козла из первой части.

Skull Island Dinosaur Pack

Мод Skull Island Dinosaur Pack от sweetener пытается создать кроссвер между серией «Парка Юрского периода» и миром «Кинг Конга». В соответствии с лором модификации, ученые InGen собрали останки с ушедшего под воду Острова Черепа и возродили динозавров, найденных там.

Здесь есть такие культовые монстры с Острова Черепа, как Вастатозавр – тиранозавр с рогом, как у носорога – и похожий на раптора Венатозавр. Интересная идея, прекрасно исполненная в этом наборе модификаций.

Godzilla 1998

Мод Godzilla 1998 от The Toho Society воссоздает существо из культового фильма «Годзилла». Огромный ящер с покрытой шипами черной шкурой сразу станет гвоздем программы любого парка, в котором появится.

Стоит отметить, что он гораздо меньше своего собрата из фильма, хотя некоторые игроки могут возразить, что это просто более молодая особь. К тому же Годзилла в этом моде заменяет Индоминуса Рекса, так что здесь определенно приходится идти на компромисс. Но фанатам фильма или самого этого мрачного чудовища мод точно понравится.

Exotic Dinosaur Pack

Мод Exotic Dinosaur Pack от sweetener заменяет некоторых динозавров в игре на более экзотические варианты. Здесь есть и странный Deinocheirus Mirificus с носом, похожим на утиный клюв, и напоминающий раптора травоядный Effigia Okeefeae.

Но пожалуй, самый интересный из всех – это Eustreptospondylus Oxoniensis, похожий на жуткую помесь раптора с королевским тиранозавром, покрытым шипами. Отличная замена для тех, кто не так часто пользуется некоторыми динозаврами.

Woolly Rhino

Мод Woolly Rhino от Siaka немножко переворачивает все с ног на голову, заменяя торозавра – динозавра, похожего на трицератопса – на койлодонта, шерстистого носорога. У него нет никаких особых требований, это просто замена модели и текстур. Но смотреть на него очень приятно.

Конечно, покрытые шерстью животные в парке с динозаврами могут не понравиться некоторым игрокам. Но как бы то ни было, они привлекают внимание и могут стать интересным дополнением. Особенно здорово они сочетаются с изобилием модов на эпоху Ледникового периода.

Baturoceratops Seradursus

Мод Baturoceratops Seradorsus от sweetner может несколько смутить палеонтологов и любителей динозавров, потому что на самом деле такого ящера не существовало. Автор, известный своими модификациями к Jurassic World Evolution, решил придумать своего динозавра и добавить его в игру.

С его собственных слов, название означает «Воин с рогатой головой», а сам ящер представляет собой вариацию на тему традиционного цератопса. Этот динозавр очень здорово выглядит и прекрасно соответствует лору мира. Он вполне сочетается с другими искусственными видами типа того же Индоминуса Рекса.

Expedition Charter

Мод Expedition Charter, созданный Kaiodenic, — прекрасный способ расширить разнообразие занятий в игре. Он направлен на переработку системы экспедиций, благодаря которой они становятся более интуитивными. Например, вместо разблокировки останков по видам они раскрываются по местам раскопок.

Кроме того, мод вносит ряд изменений в механику и геймплей исследований, делая их более сложными и интересными. Теперь игроки могут воспользоваться черным рынком для поиска останков, которые можно найти на закрытых местах раскопок за отдельную плату.

Contains savegames of a playthrough on the Deluxe Edition, of any single island finished and one where everything is done and unlocked, but all islands are wiped out for a fresh park.I’ll continuely update it for DLCs, but don’t expect that I will be playing this in a hassle just to update my savegames. 😛

This mod replaces the ambient parrot that you see flying around with Dimorphodon. Parrots only allow for low poly models with small textures, so unfortunately there isn’t much detail to this model.

Scenery Items Update

The scenery items have been made into their own separate items. These are new items and will not replace anything. The new items are listed below.

-Long Grass (also works well as reeds)

-Thorn Plant (from TLW:JP PS1 game)

The main download still features the rock replacements if anybody would prefer that, otherwise just don’t install them.

Due to the rocks now using signs as a base, the hitbox is tiny on them, allowing you to better merge the rocks together. The downside to this is they disappear near the edge of the screen more than before. To make up for this I scaled them down slightly, but they still work to make caves and nicer rock formations.

Note to other enviro modders (or people that know how to use the cobra tools): Because the rocks are now separate scenery items, they won’t be consistent with other environment mods. This can easily be fixed by editing the ‘enrw1_scr_signs_001’ textures inside ‘Enrw1_Visitors_Shared’ and adding new textures to them. Other modders can easily edit this file and upload a compatibility patch with the appropriate file changes to their mod page if they so wish.

The Fallen Redwood is now available in this mod as a separate item: Standalone Scenery Pack 1
The Ferns seen in the screenshots are available in my other scenery item pack: Isla Sorna Scenery Items

Version 2.2 Changes

Images have all been updated with latest version features.

Previous versions will still be available in the download section, but version 2 will be one big download

notes: All images were taken using my custom reshade, which I have included in the mod.

All ground textures have been remade. They look sharper, more detailed and more realistic. The overall look is still similar to the original aim of the Environment rework, however I’ve taken the look slightly more realistic and gone further into the ‘TLW’ style look. I love TLW, and basically just want the game to have a more Lost World vibe. Many inspirations came from Trespasser, TLW JP PS1 Game and of course the movie itself, whilst still looking up references of real life locations. All the foliage has also been retextured, to a degree. All the bark has new textures, where as the grass, leaves, bushes ect have been toned down to look darker, so the overall look of the environment is more consistent.

More rock model remakes have been added and the Fallen Redwood has now been made into a redwood tree, that replaces redwood tree 3, so it can now have the redwood tree bark. The main description below has been updated slightly with new images and text, so go ahead and see what’s included!

I have also included my Reshade settings that I have been using for the past few years now. I made the mod whilst using my reshade settings so they go well together, but that doesn’t mean you need it. It’s just a nice feature. It sharpens the image and plays with the saturation overall some more. Very minor.

Jurassic World Evolution’s environments felt rather dull to me and so I have created this mod to try and make the game more visually appealing. The primary feature here is the retexture of the terrain. New textures add more detail and colour variation between the different brushes, such as dirt and shrub. In addition, some of the props have gotten a re-work, including rocks and trees. More will come as I work on the mod.

What’s Included?

Many aspects of Jurassic World Evolutions environment has been altered with this mod ranging from terrain textures to scenery items. New terrain textures have been added to give more life into the environment and some rocks have been re-worked. There is also the addition of fallen tree logs that replace certain scenery items. scroll down to learn more about what’s included.

1. unzip the zip files with something like winzip
2. Navigate to your game directory, typically in : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Jurassic World Evolution
3. drag the ovldata folder from the download into the win64 folder
