Minecraft
Minecraft does not support controllers, so you will need multiple keyboards and mice.
Please note that if you are using a high polling rate mouse, input will be very stuttery for about a minute after split screen starts.
If you are using Minecraft 1.12 or earlier, use the Minecraft 1.14.3 preset and enable “Send fake window focus messages”

To launch two separate Minecraft instances, we will need a launcher called MultiMC
Download and extract MultiMC
Run MultiMC and log in with your Mojang account.
Create two(or more) instances by clicking Add Instance. Make sure they have a different names.
(Optional) Install OptiFine with MultiMC for better performance.
Make sure the games are running in windowed mode. Resize them however you like.
Start a singleplayer world and open to LAN in the pause menu. The other player can join from the multiplayer menu. Alternatively, you can connect to any server (with multiple Minecraft accounts) or an ‘Offline’ server (if you have one Minecraft account).

Go back to the Current window tab.
Alt+tab into the first game. Set the mouse and keyboard. Repeat for the second game.
If you have inconsistent mouse movement, especially when moving multiple mice, make sure the polling rates on your mice are set as low as possible. You can usually set this in your mouse configuration program (look on the manufacturer’s website).
If the mouse cursor is flickering, try setting VSync on by dragging the FPS limit slider to the left.
Joining a Minecraft server with ‘anti-cheat’ will not get you banned if you use Hooks(in the options), since servers cannot run code on your machine.
You can click Toggle window borders to remove the window title, giving you more space.

Джейсон Майор, после анонса ультра-мега-гипер-важной каменистой земли, завершил свой ежедневный марафон по демонстрации новых возможностей Minecraft Pocket Edition 1.2. Но есть и другие сотрудники, которые тоже готовы поделиться информацией о будущих нововведениях игры.
Режим разделённого экрана (Split screen)
Поскольку главное, что произойдёт с выпуском Minecraft 1.2 — это портирование этой версии Minecraft на игровые консоли Xbox One и Nintendo Swich, то важно чтобы пользователи приставок не потеряли ни одной из существующих функций. В том числе и возможности играть в компании перед одним телевизором одновременно, используя режим разделённого экрана.
О том, что эта возможность уже реализована, сообщила Обри Норрис в своём сообщение в реддите, где она просит игроков перечислить возможности Console Edition, которые обязательно нужно портировать в Minecraft Pocket Edition 1.2.
Вот так этот режим выглядит на Xbox One (это скриншот с Console Edition), будет ли он доступен на всех устройствах (Windows 10, Android, iOS, консоли) пока неизвестно.
Блоки-конструкторы (Structure block)
О том что в игру должны быть добавлены блоки-конструкторы известно очень давно. Тем более что главное — поддержка формата и их установка в мире существует ещё с версии 1.0.0, в которой уже использовались конструкции элементов городов Энда, иглу и ископаемых останков.
На этот раз, они похоже всё-таки появятся в игре — об это рассказала Элен Збилей, коммьюнити-менеджер Майкрософт. Правда, их функциональность пока будет ограничена, кроме того, похоже они будут доступны только в Windows 10.
Вот так процесс работы с блоком-конструктором выглядит в Java Edition, возможно в этой версии он будет немного другим.

Не работает, в наличии один геймпад. Подключил ноут к телевизору. Сделал расширение экрана, запустил два майнкрафта. Один работал на геймпаде, второй на клавиатуре и мышки. По отдельности работает, а поиграть в по сети не можем. Ноут мощный, на i5-8300H с GTX1050 на 4 гига и 12гб озу

Do you remember the good old days when you played console games with your friends on a split-screen? You can now evoke those memories and create some fantastic new ones using Minecraft split-screen. Unfortunately, this option is only available on consoles (Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox).
Your console or TV screen needs to support at least the 720p resolution. PlayStation Vita doesn’t support split-screen because it is qHD (1/4 of 1080p). WiiU doesn’t support split-screen either because it is only 480p. For qualifying devices, you’ll need to connect them to a TV screen using an HDMI or RGB component cable.

Minecraft Splitscreen Requirements
As briefly mentioned, you’ll need a console and a TV screen with 720p or higher. Also, you need to set the video resolution of your console to match the TV. This process is relatively easy to do; go to your console’s settings and work your way to the display options. PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Switch usually set the resolution automatically when using HDMI, although previous manual adjustments may cause an issue that requires manual reconfiguration.
You can split the screen in Minecraft locally or online. The local split-screen can accommodate up to four players at a time. If you have a big TV screen, playing with friends or family will be loads of fun. Let’s start with tips for local split-screen, and later, the online split-screen will get explained as well.
How to Split-Screen Locally in Minecraft
Local split-screen refers to playing on a single console, not to be mistaken with LAN (local area network) play. Up to four players can join on any given console. Minecraft’s an interesting, fun, and creative game. Like any other game, it’s better when you play with your friends. You can now split the screen and play Minecraft, just like playing those older console games with other players.
PC users might feel left out, which is understandable. If you have a big monitor screen, it’s a shame you can’t split it and do the same thing like on the console. There are third-party screen-splitting tools online that you could look into, but they’re not official.
