Does this make it more bloody? or just look of blood.
@John Doe textures are darker, some added ones and some replaced. There’s also better normal and spec textures. The blood pools are still the same though. I can edit the file to include the first version’s base textures.
Excellent work, but although I already made a Readme and pasted your instructions inside the files for future reference, you should consider to please put a readme file inside your mods, I tend to download a lot of mods and if I ever have to reinstall GTA V it would be quite a hassle to track down mod pages just to read instructions on how to install them, I’ve seen a lot of modders skipping such an important step as to include a readme, everything else. outstanding work, this became one of my must have.
@Donut hey i replaced the files correctly but the blood is still the exact same in my game. This happens with any blood mod i try to download. Any ideas?
@xxhaussb0ssxx Fxdecal is now in the update folder > update.rpf > x64 > textures. Are you going there?
@John Doe I added back the old textures with the updated normal maps. Looks a lot better. And idk, i wasnt thinking lol
@John Doe The blood isn’t necessarily darker, but there’s more contrast. Before it looked like an all red paint, now it’s got a bloodier look. And yea, i edited this with the old textures.

Шутер Max Payne уже довольно устарел. Ещё бы, его выпустили аж в 2001 году. Но всё же моды, созданные для этой игры, стоят отдельного внимания.
Max Payne — это шутер от третьего лица, созданный в 2001 году компанией Remedy. Сюжетная линия охватывала три года из жизни Макса Пэйна. Главной его задачей являлась месть за убийство семьи, а заодно и расследование серии преступлений. Сама игра погружала нас в нуарную атмосферу современности. Криминальные картели всюду правят балом, и лишь только героический воин-одиночка отважно сражается с ними, проявляет настоящие рыцарские качества. Макс нередко напоминал Карателя из вселенной Marvel.
Вместо роликов между уровнями нам показывали скриптовые новеллы, которые выглядели весьма потрясно. Основная же суть геймплея в том самом slow-mo. Именно эта функция и стала главной изюминкой данного шутера. Впоследствии этот стиль заимствовали уже другие игры. Также стоит сказать, что Max Payne имеет и специальную систему подстройки сложности. Если частенько умирать по ходу игры, враги вдруг станут более слабыми, а выносливость, напротив, повысится.
Конечно для Max Payne вышло и немалое количество разных модов, о которых мы и поговорим. Эти необычные проекты могут очень заинтересовать любителей олдскула.
УСТАНОВКА МОДОВ
Моды на Max Payne устанавливаются особым способом и меняют корневые файлы. Перед тем как устанавливать какой-либо мод, тщательно читайте инструкции. Для установки некоторых модов есть даже видео-туториалы, которые также можно найти на страницах Moddb.

True Matrix — это проект, посвящённый одноимённой кинотрилогии. Всё здесь стало в антураже бесценного сеттинга. Макс превратился в Нео. Враги стали представлять собой тех самых злодеев из глубин Матрицы, ну и атмосфера стала напоминать любимое кино. Добавились конечно же и новые пушки из той же вселенной.
Проект конечно не глобальный, но весьма популярный среди комьюнити Макс Пэйна. Стоит ещё сказать, что даже некоторые миссии из оригинала были немного похожи на ту самую Матрицу. Не хватает разве что громадных паукообразных машин и антигравитационных кораблей Зиона.

Мод отлично подойдёт для любителей чего-то нового. Помимо всего прочего были добавлены изменения в размерах моделей. Были улучшены динамические тени и текстуры игры. Была произведена работа и с разрешением экрана, так что теперь в этот мод можно играть и на современных ПК.

Дюк Нюкем? Да ещё и с такой кривой моделькой? Да, именно так. Но не спешите… Дюк пришёл сюда не один, а с целой кучей таких же уродливых инопланетян. Конечно в плане контента здесь то ещё зрелище. Но для любителей веселья вполне подойдёт. Все враги на локациях мгновенно превращаются в пришельцев, причём выглядят они весьма нелепо. А Макс берёт и мутирует в Дюка.
Помимо не особо качественного контента добавлена была и новая музыка, также относящаяся ко вселенной нашего матёрого альфа-самца. Ещё и загрузчик уровней добавился, так что можно запускать всё это дело в любой последовательности.

Огромное количество приёмов кунг-фу было добавлено в геймплей, которые послужат главному герою для выживания в жестоком мире современной Америки. Чтобы мастерски научиться отвязным приёмам, для начала лучше побывать в специальной тренинг-секции.
Наш старый ворчун Макс теперь сражается с такой скоростью, что кажется, будто бы он и не человек вовсе. А уж как прикольно это выглядит в режиме slow-mo! Просто фантастика! Одним словом, этот мод рекомендуется абсолютно для всех любителей старого Макса. Скачав его, вы уж точно об этом не пожалеете.

Макс Пэйн в режиме первого лица. Данный мод позволяет играть в оригинальную кампанию Макс Пэйна в режиме от первого лица. Кстати, этот мод вполне совместим с вышеперечисленным кунг-фу модом, так что можно разбрасывать противника в разные стороны как в каком-нибудь Shadow Warrior.
