Medal of Honor: Allied Assault mod | Released 2016
This texture pack adds some higher quality textures to the game while keeping the original look of the game in tact.
Multiplayer maps may still have some vanilla textures as my only goal was to retexture the entire singleplayer campaign.
Only Allied Assault’s textures were covered. Spearhead and Breakthrough’s textures remain mostly vanilla.
The textures range from 256 to 2k in size.
!!Very important!!
The textures will be blurry in-game, unless you change these settings from NVIDIA Inspector/Control Panel or equivalent for AMD users:
Anisotropic filtering mode: User-defined / Off
Anisotropic filtering setting: 16x

This is a great texture modification! Although I finding some graphical bug after using this mod such as buggy explosion animation, bugged window frame. But those graphical bug are forgivable. Anyway Youare doing such agood job on making this texture pack!
Okay, forget about my problem. I got it fixed by messing with the Video Settings.

TO ANYONE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH «NOT SEEING THE HD TEXTURES IN-GAME», simply delete any OPENGL32.DLL and put the zzzzz file into your MAIN folder; it should be OK now! (keep in mind that this DLL is needed to play the DLC’s though!)
The 2nd Ranger Captain Skin has a little glitch on his upper arms, except this issue, this pack is really amazing, Good job.
Have You turn on the «Texture compression»? In my game the texture will not change until I turn on the Texture Compression.

Does this work with the MOHAA HD Final Texture Pack?
They will conflict but if you let this mod take precedence by adding additional z letters in the filename to make sure it loads last, then you can use the textures from that mod for the multiplayer maps as this one doesn’t replace most textures used in multiplayer maps.

Medal of Honor HD Textures
These are a set of tetures that initally came from a «Medal of Honor Alled Assualt» «MODB» «HD Texture Remake» mod. All i did was make all the textures sutable to make maps out of. Initallty i wanted to use the origonal MOHAA Textures but i sadly couldnt. I wanted to make a remake of the MOHAA singleplayermap «Rangers Lead The Way» using these textures but i have been slacking.This will not affect D.O.I at all all it does is add new textures to the game that you the user will dig into its files remove the textures from its vpk medalofhonorhdtexture/material/etc and place it into your current materials folder in DOI. Have fun mapping and have a nice day

A. Materials of all kinds including grass, roads, doors, boxes, barrels ass seen in the origonal game except with the HD touch thanks to the origonal creator.

This is a small tutorial for improving the graphics in the game.
This is a small tutorial for getting better graphics on Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. I tested with the GOG Warchest version and worked. I take no credits for all the files in this tutorial.
At the end of the tutorial are some pictures.
First of all, follow the guide and add the configs from pcgaminwiki for widescreen resolution and the max quality graphics settings:
1) For Widescreen resolution, you need to edit the config file called «unnamedsoldier.cfg». That file should be on one of this paths (this is in the GOG case):
C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\Medal of Honor\main
C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\Medal of Honor\mainta\configs
C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\Medal of Honor\maintt\configs
In my case, it was in mainta config folder because i was using Spearhead (and testing the Coop mode by S.D.A.)
2) Delete the file (or make a backup file), then load the game and edit all the in-game setting except the resolution.
3) Exit the game and open the new unnamedsoldier.cfg file (open with a text editor. I recommend Notepad++) and add the folowing lines in the Cvars group:
(Modify the customwidth and customheight with the resolution you want)
4) Save the file
5) Now for the max graphics settings, and go to main/mainta/maintt folder and open the file called «newconfig.cfg», delete all the lines and add this:
6) Save the file and close.
9) Download the SweetFX from guru3d: Guru3d.com
Extract all the files in the zip file into the Medal of Honor main folder (the one with the exxecutables). Now you can edit the SweetFX_settings.txt for improving by yourself the settings or download a new preset and see how it works with the game. I tested with the «natural 1.0» settings by r3dfield (created for World at War).

After you edited the SweetFX_settings file, save it and enter the game and see if worked.
