Hallo. I am Gabrilduro, the Developer of this Western Mod of M&B WB v. 1.158/1.167. I always dreamt of a Western videogame or of a ACW videogame and this Mod has them both and is an Rpg in 1st/3rd and strategic view. It is for a Single Player Campaign, but has also Custom Battles and a cool Multiplayer (even in Coop mode!) with playable Factions of the American Civil War and Wild Frontier, Mexican Second Empire and Indian Wars. -Fixed all major bugs (they were a lot, actually)
-Fixed all items and weapons properties

-No more ctd on some scenes
-No more crashes on some sieges

-Shootouts and Showdowns in Towns are better thasn ever now!
-Coop on a Multiplayer Lan is much improved and you can play alone vs bots
-Custom Battles Scenes and spawning points improved as well
-many other smaller issues that Best Supporters will surely apreciate
-Removed most NUDE scenes. because I Always Respect Kind Requests from my Best Supporters and having small kids around I understand their point of view!

Yes I agree. Those nude scenes weren’t even a problem for me when I played this around 15-17 years old. People shouldn’t make a big deal just because of it!I mean go to France and you will see tons of paintings of nudes(males and females)

I’d love to see it restored. Not for nudity’s sake, but if it was part of your original vision, might as well keep it. Feel free to give a warning in the description if you like, leaving the one downloading responsible.
Anyway regardless of what you do, I’ll thank you right now. This is my top mod pick for Mountain Blayd. I thank you for all the work you’ve done for the game and this community.

Oh man never listen to people who demand censorship. People who want censorship do not support free speech, freedom of thought, or freedom of expression. They may say they do, but you always see the word «but» e.g. «I support free speech, but-» meaning they support those freedoms unless they disagree with it.
I’d just ignore those kinds of people. Anyway, i’m currently downloading your mod. Looking forward to it, it looks good! XD

OH snap Mount and Blayd? thats what im calling it from now on XD so, as we speak im installing this mod, i have a question or two? one, when them nudes—i mean art coming back, two where and how do i find and than rob clint eastwood? simple questions, ALSO can i yeet rocks at my enemys instead of shooting bullets?
I found those posts to be hilarious. Yes, complain about some artistic nudes (tasteful or not) during a break from your murder spree.
Dude please add a patch for those famous paintings. Just for some of us who respect it!!GABRILDURO if you can be so kind as to make a patch with those famous nude paintings just for all of us here who respect it and wont complain about it. And yes I for one do thank you for adding them because its based upon historical aspect.

Gabrilduro,the latest version is missing the data file. I am getting some texture errors and alot of the stuff in the scenes are just plain white. Can you fix that please?

Gabrilduro, it might just be a problem with my computer but every time I try to start a new game, it says ‘cannot render troops.txt’ and crashes. Help please?
Mmhh. so sorry. has to be with you Card limitations. Try to lower ALL graphic too very low. Also click on old directx 7 and NOT 9. If it still doesn t work let me know.

excited to play this. Honestly Gab you should advertise this as the only «western» ARPG out there. A lot of people want a red dead redemption on PC and this is the closest thing. You’d get ten thousand new players if you focused on ‘westernizing’ it and publicizing it a bit more. Guaranteed.
Cool mod, which i seen it sooner
Dude I can not make this mod work. there is no data file. I downloaded the latest version on here, which is 1.5 I believe, and extarcted files into my mod folder like all of my other mods and it doesn’t show up in my launch menu. I inspect the files and there is no data file.
I for one dont get why tits flappin about are something bad for a kid to see, while the next thing you do is shootn somebody square in the face with a rifle. but that aint none of my business since you released two seperate versions 😉

Hi Gab! I would like to thank you for making a great mod. I got a question regarding a prisoner rescue mission. After forcing the guard to give me the keys and eliminating them, there’s no option to enter the prison cell. 🙁

Great Mod I have been playing the past 2 weeks, and have made my own personnel texture tweaks, and custom flags for single player.

There seems to be some missing textures, specifically for a tree or a bush. I am finding invisible collision hulls all over the place.
In the middle of a plain, no trees around, and my horse comes to a dead halt. Same thing in the woods, there are invisible things all over the place.
The maps for the towns, and forts need to be more AI friendly. It seems you have us running straight into a fence with a tiny opening most of the time, so we loose 70% of our troops, because they get stuck on the fence. My suggestion is to make the fences like a «funnel» so the troops will slide along the fence until they are forced to run through the tiny opening.
Other than those 2 tiny little things, this is by far the best «Cowboy game» on the PC right now.
I plan on giving it the highest rating possible. I will also try to inject a plug on redit, any time anyone asks about a good cowboy game, or a good mod for Mount and Blade- warban.

Ciao Gab, il mod è veramente interessante e ci sto perdendo un po’ di tempo ultimamente, l’unica cosa che mi da problemi è che da quando ho fatto l’update alla 1.5 non trovo più la coach gun in nessun negozio nè nei loot, solo durante le battaglie dove ovviamente non posso prenderla con me, sai da cosa possa essere causato? ti ringrazio in anticipo

The American Civil War Mod: Revived is a single player mod for Mount and Blade: Warband that is built upon an old civil war mod that ceased development, that was called, «A House Divided». Thanks to the help from the amazing community here, I have been able to include some new features in the mod, like advanced formations and fire orders, and successfully address many of the major bugs that came with the first release. Many new features have since been added, and you can read more about them here, on the mod page.
