This mod is focusing on remaking «The Naruto Mod» by Sundiata into a more serious one such as replacing all the derpy dialogues and textures.
This mod is a remake of Sundiata’s naruto mod as a base, it’s been ages since the naruto mod was updated, so I decided to finally make my «own» version.
Development #1
Hello there everyone, it’s Mitsuki! I just wanted you to let you guys know that we haven’t stopped development on this module. We’ve only replaced a few textures and nearly all of the music files to fit into this module.
We recently received the source from Sundiata, which we appreciate greatly! Which will speed up the development a lot, since we don’t have to browse through text files one after another, which takes a lot of time.
We hope you are still looking forward to future development for this module, we haven’t stopped. We have begun to work on it even faster!

Is there any way to skip the story with Madara and the Zetsu army? I want to be able to join a faction, own a castle, etc
Honestly, thank you for working on this mod and fixing it up. It was quite a buggy mess, fun yes, but a mess nonetheless. Can’t wait to see what else comes from you working on and fixing this mod.

i can fight a whole army alone in this mod

To start off, bravo for the mod, the models are unreal.
I’m writing to ask if you’ d be interested in a mod project I’ve already approached a handful of other modders for.
I want to create a mod telling of either one of two fantasy worlds I wrote for books I plan on penning in the future.
One is a low-fantasy epic (not unlike the Chronicles of Conan) the other is an attempt at high-fantasy but it’s a single story and not an epic (call it a LOTR ripoff).
I myself am not a modder, but I am a compulsive storyteller and am backed up with plenty of notes on everything from the world/factions to what kind of cultures each place follows, histories, individual characters, etc.
Also, if we do end up working together, that technically means you get sneak-peeks into the plots way before the books will ever get published (any criticism is also openly welcome), I get a 3D rendition of the worlds I pen (which is always a plus), and the players get another original fantasy mod for M&B.
It’s win-win-win.

Glad you’re working on it. If you end up cleaning up the mod I recommend a couple of changes if it’s possible.
For starters, the animations for the main character don’t work correctly in melee. I try to use a Katana and half of the time the swing just stops. Incredibly glitchy.
I also think that the jutsu are extremely janky in their current form. Could very much use a cleanup, and also maybe a function to be able to use them while having a weapon out so you aren’t disarming yourself to use them. Not sure.
Anyway, good luck with the mod. If the base proves too glitchy, might even up even being better to start from scratch on your own and only take pieces that you need from the other module.

Almost done with the semester
*Homing Attack (similiar to Naruto Ultimate Ninja) Partially implemented since 10/31/15, when its fully implemented it will perform like the naruto ultimate ninja series.
«Keybinded Teleport by pressing T : you know what this is lol.
*Summoning Water above the ground and making the area filled with water jutsu. (will have to make all entry points for every scene be above ground for atleast 100 meters to prevent the next wave of troops from spawning underwater)(which is what I did for the old mod ofcourse lol)
*(optional)preventing units in the beginning of the battle from attacking for 20 seconds and forcing them into a prepare attack state, in effect stopping them from piling up like usual, since they will all spread out across the map. And when the 20 seconds are up, they start with the throw down.
make a custom menu where you can turn on/off combat techniques for the Warring States Mod.
example: units are literally moving all over the map. This is good to prevent units from being too close during battle in which it will get annoying.
later on : Puppet System as request by Gangsterwolf ALOT OF TIMES LOL, don’t worry this will be done!
Hero vs Hero during battle as requested by LordHolyGaben(EPICUSERNAME), or if that doesn’t work, all troops ignore heroes and heroes ignore troops, leaders of the armies charge towards eachother, troops don’t charge until the heroes finish their duel, when one of the heroes go to low hp, both armies charge and the actual battle begins.
Anbu system as requested by Bclem, they act as agents you can see in dialog after clicking on a menu of a castle or town you own, you order them around by telling them to spy on enemy factions(which will give you updates on what village/town/castle that faction will attack), sabotage or attack an enemy village dressed up as a neutral neighbor of your choice to incite war between the two factions.
Whilst they are spying on any faction, chances are they will be confronted with counterspies. It will be your choice when confronted to: control the anbu member and fight your way out, have the anbu member be ai-controlled and fight(not recomended :|), or auto resolve it and hope the experience system works as intended(also not recommended X|).
Battle Areas could either end up being in the attic, or in the hallways of a castle with enemy infantry reinforcements. Youtu.be
Each decision is very risky for the Anbu member to complete if their experience is low.(If an experience system can be implemented as well)
It will be a good implementation that adds strategic decisions to the game overall. Difficulty : 1
