About this mod
Now, all creature and NPC will die almost instantly with headshot! Of course, the bigger the creatures are, the more they will cash in but it’s normal, the bigger they are, the easier they are to aim at.

Version 1.0
REQUIEREMENTS
======================
• Either have at least those DLC : Operation Anchorage, Point Lookout, The Pitt and Mothership Zeta.
• Either not have any of these.
No middle ground at the moment (you can have Broken Steel in both cases).
DESCRIPTION
=================
An ennemy! One shot, two shot, twenty-six shot, he’s dead! Next!!
Hum, it’s long, I’m going to shoot the head : one shot, two shot, ten shot, finally! KO!
It’s a current situation in the Fallout games : the radiation that has changed our bodies so much that the skin and bones are made of steel (and the joints in spaghetti).
There are a mod for modify the damages to the head of the creatures of F3 :
Realist Headshots
However, this mod don’t affect them DLC, and don’t change sufficiently the damage in my opinion. Moreover, the translation spanish->english has been in progress since ten years! (it’s for you, english-speaking friends 😉 )
That’s why my mod is here! No more the Raiders cathing bullets with their teeth. Now, all creature and NPC will die almost instantly with headshot! Of course, the bigger the creatures are, the more they will cash in (it’s normal, the bigger they are, the easier they are to aim at). The player he’s also impacted by this, however the headshot you receive will be much less frequent (stay alert : in the vanilla game, you often receive headshot without realizing it ;P).
If you don’t want to be impacted by the mod, use the easy version plugin instead.
INSTALLATION
==================
It is recommended to use a mod manager (Mod Organizer 2 the best, don’t use NMM or FOMM!!). There are very good guides on the internet/nexus forum or, in French, on the forum of the Brotherhood of Translators! (Confrérie des Traducteurs)
If the Bashed Patch ask you to merged this plugin, click YES!
2. Activate the plugin on your favorite mod manager/the launcher.
In any case, install only one version at a time.
With MO2 : uncheck the mod and delete it.
Other : Delete «RealisticHeadshotF3.esp» from your Data folder.
Incompatible with the mod mentioned above, they modify the same things.
It is not compatible with any other mod modifying body parts, so forget the Realist Damage mods (my mod previews the head, if you want more, download these for more difficulty). Merging the mods in question into the Bashed Patch of Wrye Flash should limit conflicts.
The mod was cleaned with FO3edit.

Obsidian Entertainment, I have spent way too much time not working you.
Bethesda Softworks, same for you, way too much time spent not releasing stuff. Also, don’t tell noone, but the models are still the ones I borrowed from your bsa 😉
Autodesk, Eleven years of using your product, still ain’t bored.
Adobe, I still can’t draw in photoshop, I should sue.
Pixologic, you know, I’m actually a sculptor in real life, so thanks for letting me be geeky, and clean!
You guys, Thats right, you get your own line. Did you know, I have been a member of this site, since I was thirteen years old? In fact, I wasn’t always dreaming of working on video games, I used to want to be a plumber, but thanks to you guys, (I’m secretly cursing you all), I decided that I wanted to become a character artist. Thousands of man hours later, five computer crashes, nine harddrive failures, five years wandering the country with a desktop in a backpack, 3/4 of the entire Meshes.bsa remade for oblivion, three times over. What do I have to show for it?
So cheers to you! You’ve pushed me through some heinous times, and maybe I’ll come back some day.

README:
Preface:
Warning, the meshes contained herein are a proof of concept, and while no crashes or game breaking bugs have presented themselves,
they may show up.
Overview:
This «mod» aims to improve the graphical fidelity of the game by improving the quality of the npc’s with whom you interact. At this time, this is
limited to men, human, and ghoul respectively. Normal maps have been sculpted from a base mesh independent of developers property and will display
this from time to time in small anomalies, such as the overlap of the mouthbox. To most, this will not be a problem.
These are compatible with any texture replacers configured for the vanilla head models, the uv maps have remained untouched. However, due to the immense
changes in the shape of the model, if the normal map of your replacer has been generated from a high polygon model, the lighting may be skewed. This is
not a bug, nor will I change it.
Distribution:
You may alter and redistribute these files freely on Newvegas.nexusmods.com without permission, as long as credit is given, along with a link to my profile.
You may not distribute these files to any site other than the aforementioned nexus websites.
You may not distribute the contents of this archive without alteration, unless permission is given. (this statement will last one year from today, october 12, 2013).
Installation: Drag and drop the contents of the «heads» folder, into your New Vegas root directory.
Uninstallation: Find and delete the files «Headhuman.nif», and «Headghoul.nif» in your meshes folder, as well as the corresponding textures.
Disclaimer: Due to my current unemployed status, and my quickly dwindling funds; as of this release, my modding will be limited to whatever free time I
have during the night. That means, I will not be supporting this very well, nor updating any time soon. I may release a tutorial sometime in the future
however.
Known bugs:
The human head clips minutely with some hairstyles (see picture), as well as some beards (only four triangles of the chin penetrate the facial hair model)
and it is not too unnatural looking.
The ghoul head has a few issues with blinking, I’m not sure if this is caused by the egm or tri, or if its just the rearranging of the vertices causing it
to have trouble, but it kind of blinks. I think it looks a bit more awesome personally, having the sunken eyes look really adds to the effect.
However, there are some minor clipping of the upper eyelid with the eye itself. Doesn’t bother me, but that could be because I mod on a toaster.

Many people asked and now we have:
Less ammo and Headshot!
With this mod you will be able to kill zombies like in cutscenes. With one headshot!
I even feel sorry for the poor licker with his brain exposed inside out.
Mr X also has a tremendous headache now.
There is not much ammo now, and the healing items are almost zero (very close to that).
But don’t be afraid, all of the enemies’ weak points are now more realistic (weaker).
If you save your ammo correctly, you will feel like a superhero. Unbeatable!
For better use of the mod, I recommend playing in hardcore mode.

Version 0.4
-Requires SKSE and SkyUI
Features:
-Shooting at people in the head with an arrow or bolt will apply extra damage.
-Customizable damages for light, heavy or no helmet
Description
This mod will check if an actor has an arrow embedded in their head, literally, if so it will consider it a headshot and apply some additional damage.
There isn’t really much else to add, I tried to make it as simple as possible. And in case I fucked up I added a on/off switch so it should be quite «safe».
On the other hand I am not sure if what I am doing is safe, so consider this an alpha release. If you experience any issue please make a post about it, can’t fix it if I don’t know about it.
I cant say for sure that my mod will work perfectly, but I think its as fast and reliable as it can get. Instead of keeping track of projectiles or where they hit, I just check if the actor has an arrow in its head, cant get simpler than that.
Compatibility
It should work with any vanilla arrow or bolt, however new ones won’t work out of the box. You will need to add them to a text file so they work with my mod.
-First you need to find each new projectile’s nif.
Ex: For iron arrows there is an «ironarrowflight.nif» file.
-Open this file and find the corresponding Node name for the mesh
Ex: For iron arrows this name is «IronArrowFlight»
-Add this name to the text file «IH_arrows.txt» found on «Skyrim\Data\skse\plugins», one per line, no spaces. (If you are using Mod organizer then you need to find the file in the Mod organizer folder)
To do
-I am pretty sure it’s possible to get the exact damage dealt to an NPC, I just haven’t found an easy way to do it.
If you don’t use the MCM or it isn’t working use:
set [variable name] to [0 or 1]
names:
-IH_OnSwitch
-IH_headshotNotification
-IH_ignoreHelmet
-IH_ignorePlayer
Known Issues:
-It should work with all vanilla arrows, though I may have missed some, but any arrow added by other mods wont work out of the box.
-Killing someone with a headshots won’t count as a murder, sorry.
