This map is a (nearly) full recreation of the popular horror game OUTLAST made by Red Barrels.
This map has every key moment from the game and nearly every corner aswell.
Few areas were changed to bring also something new and some areas and characters were cut off.

17 Update Logs

It’s been nearly a year since the last update, so here I am with a huge and nice one, VISUAL UPDATE!
The map wasn’t really looking the best in every aspect, so I took my time and updated some of the ugliest textures.

First off, few gameplay changes:
-Made outside forests bigger so they look more believable
-Changed the beginning title where it said: «lordVader9911 presents. » now changed to «panR4IN presents. » (my updated nick)

VISUAL CHANGES:
-Oak Doors now look way more realistic (Texture: Fancy 3.0 beta by oakar567)
-Changed the textures of Wool (Texture: Fancy 3.0 beta by oakar567)
-Grass now looks ultra realistic (Texture: Post Greyxed by tomaxed44)
-Iron Doors now look ultra realistic (Texture: Post Greyxed by tomaxed44)
-Bushes and tall grass now look ultra realistic (Texture: Post Greyxed by tomaxed44)
-Trapdoors now look different (Texture: Post Greyxed by tomaxed44)
-Stonebricks updated (Texture: Post Greyxed by tomaxed44)
-Updated the entirety of colorful glass (Texture: Fancy 3.0 beta by oakar567)
-Updated Battery item icon (Random pic from Google)
-Updated the look of the camera (on the outside, not the HUD) (Random pic from Google)
All texture authors properly credited here.

Outlast Full Asylum Mount Massive

One of my favorite video games is outlast. I don’t know why. Its horror why would i like that? it must be the thrill that gets me. Anyway I always thaought it would be awesome to have an outlast in minecraft map sort of thing. But every time i see one, its either discontinued or the creator is lazy and doesnt release a download. So here is what i have done. So have fun exploring what i have built so far. Let me know what you think.

This is sadly not complete and some areas are not accurate. But still this is one of the best recreations on planetminecraft 😀

Its just such a shame that this carefully crafted map is not finished. This is probably the first ever outlast asylum map and most popular here 🙂

Tbh you did the male ward, female ward, prison and courtyard very good.. All the interiors areas you did are excellent. Im just talking about the locations. like the male ward is actually on the left wing and the prison is in the middle. The exterior in the entrance zone was very well done. I love that you added some fire exits.

I will just change the placements of the buildings and finish the female ward and admin block. add the underground lab. And maybe also add all the dlc locations.

When its done I will pm you the map 😉

im very well aware of that, the fact is after I built the first part of the game up until the priest takes you to the cell, and I did not know where to put anything. so I just put a door to the prison cell that you get brought to at the end of the hallway.

Fact of the matter is I never expected to build as much of the asylum as I did, so I did not think it would be an issue to build it where I did instead of working backwards from the end of that first hallway that you end up walking back to at the end of the game. I actually saw a layout map of the entire asylum that would have made building it alot easier, but that was not around when I built it.

I did not even own the game when I built the majority of the asylum, I was basing it all of Markiplier’s lets play.

Thats actually the biggest reason I stopped building the asylum, the female ward connects to the admin block, and they were too far apart by the time I finished the female ward.

If you got that fixed up so the buildings are in the right locations, I may actually work on it and finish it. And if I do that, I’ll for sure add the areas from whistleblower.

Данная карта была создана как хорор если вы не знаете что такое хорор то я вам объясню: хорор- это жанр игры есть много разных жанров например RPG и много других хорор это когда в игре майнкрафт или же в другой всё темно и страшная музыка и могут быть разные монстры например как в игре Outlast 2 да согласен она довольно страшная и эта карта сделана под эту игру и она мне чем то даже понравилась и я бы вам посветовал бы установить данную карту на ваш клиент майнкрафт и конечно же приятной игры на просторах майнкрафта. Эта карта подойдёт для пряток вам точно понравиться эта идея.
