Build your business
Make no mistake – this is a game about business, first and foremost. You’ll also want to make sure that you don’t exhaust yourself from all the work – it’s a delicate balance and the game will likely teach you something about conducting business in real-life as well.
Balance inventory and crafting. It’s always a good idea to have items in stock so that you can sell them as soon as the customer walks in. This will ensure that people aren’t coming to you and then being sent away. There is a limit to how many items you can store in your inventory, however. It’s best to craft one of every item available to you so that you can always sell it when someone comes in. Then immediately start crafting the item you’ve just sold ready for when the next person comes asking.
It can be tempting in the early stages of the game to just craft loads of the few items that you can make, but this can come back to bite you later on in the game. Play it safe.
