VCZ Multifloor Elevator


Here is what the VCZ Multifloor Elevator includes:
+ Up to 9 floors per elevator (of course can be as little as 2).
+ Up to 200 blocks total height of the elevator (including the bottom and top floors).
+ Modular construction (so you can build an elevator according to your floor plan and not the other way around).
+ Includes filler block and double filler block for the space between floors.
+ Includes an Air Vent filler block (so you don’t suffocate inside your own elevator).
+ Selectable speed up to 20m/s.
+ 4 different Cabin Music tracks (can be disabled from the Control Panel of the main Elevator block).
+ Adjustable light inside the cabin with controls for Color, Range and Intensity.
+ Control from toolbars like Cockpits, Timers, Sensors, etc.

All blocks are available in the G-Menu in a separate group called «VCZ Mod Blocks».
Also you should be able to find VCZ Elevator Rotor Base as a main block with mouse-scrollable options for the other blocks in the main (All Blocks) G-Menu screen.

1. Start with the block VCZ Elevator Bottom or VCZ Elevator Rotor Base.
2. (skip this step if you used VCZ Elevator Rotor Base) Directly on top of it place VCZ Elevator Rotor.
3. Place filler blocks and middle floors until you reach your top floor (or the maximum height).
4. There place the block «VCZ Elevator Top».
5. That’s it! Hop in and start riding your new elevator. 😉

Please, don’t build blocks that stretch outside of their block size right next to the elevator shaft to avoid having clang related problems.

The Floor blocks are Advanced Door type of blocks and are controlled by a script. If you are using any type of script for automatic door control either as a Programmable block version or as a mod version, please refer to it’s documentation and find the tag that’s used to exclude doors from being controlled (usually [Excluded] or something similar) and add it to the name of all Floor blocks.

Keep in mind that the cabin will be removed when the ship starts turning and will be added again when it stops. If the elevator is in use the cabin will be removed when the player gets out of the elevator.

Please report any bugs you may encounter.
I have tested it thoroughly and in various different situations but I am sure I may have missed something.

Adds lift profiles to all grids in the game.
Adds deadly reentry to the game.
Adds wind to the game.

Physics simulation includes, drag forces, deflection forces, lift, angle of attack differential lift, ground effect.

Ground effect will calculat.

Gas tanks will explode if they take certain types of damage while filled with gas.

Tanks do radial damage based on the total internal pressure of the tank.

Explosion applies physics to objects as well.

Mod is now vanilla.

Adds parachutes to space engineers.

Open the parachute hatch to deploy. Closing will detach the chute.

Parachute color is determined from the block that deploys it.

Note: Parachutes need to be ‘repacked’ after every deplo.

A max ship speed mod with a difference. It is custom skybox friendly.
You can use it with any Skybox.
It does not modify the Environment.sbc file, so any custom environment settings are safe.

Maximum Small and Large ship speed are set to 1000.

First off, this mod is intended for people that want more realism and challenge to their world, it will change how you need to build ships and it will change how you control them if they’re not balanced.

This mod does one simple thing. It will modify the max range of both the large and small Laser Antennas and change them both to 1000000000000m. This makes the range essentially infinite so you can do more cool stuff.
