Description:

This mod is an addon for NSC2 that adds the shipsets from the Mass Effect universe to the game. It is an active work in progress and is not completely finished.

This mod will also work without NSC2 using the 4 base vanilla classes, but you won’t have access to the ship models that use the NSC2 ship classes.

This mod was made possible by permissions given to CaptainX3 by Setesh (aka Lord_Set), the original author of the models used. The models are borrowed from the very popular Dawn of the Reapers mod for Sins of a Solar Empire. Many thanks go to that amazing development team for allowing us to do this, and we’d like to provide a link to their amazing mod for Sins players to enjoy.

Hello, sorry for the very late response. I currently have some news for everyone, I’ll be blunt and straight to the point, I currently put the progress on this on a hold, I did get permission to use some assets from other M.E. mods from other games but I right now, I dont have time to work on them, Reason for this is «LIFE».. I live on a 3rd world country, Im not rich and Im still not done on my OJT (internship for other countries and Actually I havent started it yet still looking for a place) and I can only play now if I have some spare time which might be weekends or every other week. The same goes for modding. This one requires a lot of time that’s why I can only update my small mods. But never the less, I’ll keep continuing this but the progress will be extremely slow due to «LIFE». I have to go here and there, submit stuffs here and there, and after that might even look for a job. Hopefully you guys understand my current situation, English is not my native language so forgive me it it’s not all grammatically correct.

-I am no UV mapper, Texture creator and only know a little about it. So all I did was port them.
-This is just a port (With a little edit of the meshes) of the Mass Effect Reapers model that someone linked me in a few days ago.
-Some models contains bugs, read below.
-Still on the early stage. Just let me finish my game match and I’ll continue working on this again.
-Set will work without DLC, but there will be some limitations.

Models contails some bugs, but never the less, not game breaking.

-Usually, not compatible with any mod that alters default game pdxmesh loading and/or mods that make big changes to it like NCS and such.

The models used as a civilian ship is actually a GUN. I didnt know this because I never actually played the whole Mass Effect Series, I thought it was a ship, ported it in maya, did some stuff with the material, exported and as I expoted it, I notice the trigger and I realize that it was a gun lol. I decided to leave it in game because, You’re not gonna stare at them, right? and they do look cool as a ship.

-DO NOT use the portrait included that you’ll see on the Empire editor. It was needed and NOT CONFIGURED to just allow a new ship mod to be added ingame.
-To see the Harbinger in action, you need Apocalypse dlc. Otherwise, you wont see it ingame.
-Starbases uses Avian Model

-Synthetic Dawn (Highest Priority if you want an AI Reaper Empire)
-Apocalypse (Just for the titan)

-If you want an AI REAPER style Empire (Requires Synthetic Dawn), I highly advice you to use «Overpowered Civics» by Edcrab (Link Below). then do the following:
-Set the Empire as Machine Intelligence
-Set portrait as a droid or anything robot.
-Set Empire ship set as «Mass Effect: Reaper»
-Add the Gestalt Consciousness to it as Ethics
-Add the Determined Exterminator as 1st Civic
-Add the GODMACHINE as the 2nd Civic (From Overpowered Civics)
-Name it as Reaper
-edit other info and save
-Click Forced Spawn
-Start a game with your favorite empire
-Hope that the Reaper is not your neighbor in early games.

(Trust me, with this setup, the Reaper will always be preset with you until the end days of your game galaxy)

[OUTDATED!] Mass Effect: Crucible

Not updated for 3.0 and never will be.

Mass Effect: Crucible is a Semi-Conversion mod that brings Stellaris into the Mass Effect universe. Unlike other overhaul/total conversion mods which seek to completely change Stellaris to fit within a certain universe, ME: Crucible selectively changes just enough to make Stellaris feel like Mass Effect. In practical terms, this allows excellent compatibility with many other game changing mods! (see compatibility section below for details)

This is an early first release of ME: Crucible. This means it is not complete, and most likely buggy, but it is at a level that I feel comfortable releasing it. Most of the base features are in, but many, such as all the ships sets, events, resources etc, are not included in this first release or are still work in progress. Future updates will be added in such a way that they are unlikely to break your save games (though this cannot be guaranteed).

*Please note: The in-game screenshots have the Real Space mod active (where indicated) to provide better visuals

*Asari Republics and Asari Corporate Interests are added by MEC: Asari mod

It is EXTREMELY important that you have subscribed – and have active – both the MEC: Asari and MEC: Mass Relays mods, or this mod will not function as intended

It is VITAL that you have all the required DLC’s

Owning the Megacorp DLC is no longer required for the Vol Protectorate and Asari Corporate Interests (Non megacorp versions added for those who don’t own the DLC)

ME: Crucible was made with compatibility in mind, as such many mods will work with it. This will allow you, in part, to tailor your experience as you see fit.

Many galaxy generation mods like Real Space are fully compatible due to ME: Crucible’s semi-random galaxy generation.

UI mods like Dynamic UI are partly compatible*

Any mods that add prescripted playable empires will NOT work.

The compatible mods discussion (see below) will be updated as mods are tested.

The required mods can be loaded in any order as they ‘should’ automatically be overridden by the correct files in ME: Crucible. The safer option is to manually put them on top of ME: Crucible in the load order.

All other mods should be put ABOVE of ME: Crucible in the load order. This will ensure none of this mod’s files are not overwritten.

*The only changes to the UI made by ME: Crucible are in the main menus, as such, most UI mods should be compatible. Again, load all UI mods ABOVE this mod!

Mass Effect and all its assets belong to Electronic Arts and BioWare. This is entirely a community-driven, non-profit project. No copyright infringement is intended.
