Description:

This little mod is to give players additional 19 galaxy sizes.

+ 19 galaxy sizes with Fallen empires ranging from 22 to 7500 stars!

+ Allows players to compete against over 100 AIs!

+No clustering starts! It generates the empires more evenly and spread out.

+You can play without any AI empires, except Pre-FTL civs.

+Stars at the galaxy core!

+Realistic Spiral galaxy shape and more randomized placement of stars

This is the classic Master of Orion 2’s «Huge map» setting with 71 stars and maximum AI players of 8, well guys, 71 stars map was felt like «HUGE» at that time lol…

unless you have a monster PC XD
So, I recommend to play «Epic» or below for comfortable experience.

Oh, if you have any problem, question or request, feel free to comment down below. : )

Change log:
v1.2.1 Removed the galaxy texture for more clear visibility.

v1.1 Added galaxy texture (The texture image courtesy of NASA).
v1.0 Initial release

Known Issues
*Ring galaxy settings don’t work at larger stars settings e.g. 1000 or above stars.

1. The base game does not have enough star names. Use something like Realstic Star Names or Cybrxkhan’s Assortment of Namelists.

2. The load times on galaxies have increased massively in the 2.0 update (due to base game changes), I assume due to pathfinding generation during the initial load. It took about 5 mins for me to load a 5k galaxy, although I assume once it is generated, it’ll load much more quickly for save-games.

3. I recommend not using more than 40 AI civs, as there does seem to be a hard limit in the game, and if the game goes over that, it crashes. A common cause of crashes seems to be primitive civs reaching FTL and taking the AI civ count over its limit, and for this reason I’d suggest using a low primitives setting. Consider how many more primitive civs are spawning on these larger galaxies.

4. I’ve previously tested all galaxy sizes with max settings, but since the Stellaris 2.0 update makes loading times unbearable for huge galaxies, I’ve only tested up to 5,000 stars, 50 AI empires and 5x primitives on 2.0 though. I can confirm that it loads, but can’t guarantee that it won’t crash if enough primitives make it to FTL.

5. In short, the game wasn’t designed for so many civs and such large galaxies. I’d recommend sticking to galaxies no larger than 2000-3000 stars (for performance), and no more than 40 AI civs (for stability). Or just turn off primitives and play with 50 AI civs.

1250, 1500, 1750, 2000, 2500, 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000, 7000, 8000, 10000, 15000.

— Decreased max number of AI civs to 50 for larger galaxies to leave more room for primities to reach FTL (this would otherwise cause crashes with say 60+ AI civs selected).

— Less unform shape.
— Galactic core is much smaller.

This prevents empires from spawning immediately next to each other. Credit goes to Taw for creating No Clustered Starts.

Stellaris мод на размер галактики

Mods that make the map nicer and maybe bigger.

Should work for 1.6 and 1.7

TLDR;
Potentially gives the AI more fleet, more resources, more planets, higher planet development, and more pops.

On average the advanced AI civs will start with 5 planets (as few as 2 to as many as 10), up to 70-80 pop.

System UI and camera changes to make the game as clean as possible for cinematic screenshots and video.

— Removes orbital lines, navigation arrows and text.
— Adjusts camera to allow further zooming in and no angle rest.

This mod hides exhaust trails from ships.

This mod makes the galactic core less bright. Useful for those running galaxy mods that add stars to the core.

It’ll actually work for any version of Stellaris since it’s just a texture (even if it is outdated).

Yet another galaxy texture. Other textures:

This mod disables terra incognita (fog of war) on the default empire view, as seen in previous versions of Stellaris. This allows the player to view the map in colour, rather than in grey.

This mod will now make sure a non-player Sol System (could be with a pre-interstellar spaceflight or post-apocalyptic earth) will spawn.

The original intend of this mod was to make sure no duplicate Sol Systems would spawn, but this was fixed in the 1.1.

Welp, looks like I’m dumb and forgot how to update the description properly without deleting the existing description!

*************
Are you tired with the vanilla star names? Want something with a more military/h.

This mod reverts the changes to hyperlane colour made by Clean Space back to the regular colours. Don’t use if you’re not using Clean Space.
