This is not an official Mass Effect Civilizations mod. It is a little project by me to consolidate various Mass Effect mods into one simple download. Some of the features of this mod, may of course, make their way into future MEC projects but that is not a guarantee.

NOTE: The new home clusters do include new systems to improve balance, but some will prove easier than others. This is a design choice on my part. Broadly speaking, the major Mass Effect species will have an easier starting position than the minor species.

ATTENTION! I am no longer able to maintain or update my mods going into Patch 2.0. My PC has crashed and I don’t know when I will be able to replace the broken parts. Furthermore, my personal life is in the middle of an important crossroads and I’m going to be focusing on reality. This means NONE of my mods will be updated further. They will remain as they are for Patch 1.9.

Original description follows:

This is an updated version of the original Mass Effect Theme Pack by VJ (redistributed with permission). A few minor tweaks have been made, but for the most part this mod is simply updated to function with the latest patch.

Like Team Nessassity and their revival of the Species Pack, I am only acting primarily as a custodian of this project until such a time that VJ returns and wishes to resume its development. I will do what I can to make sure this mod remains playable: patch updates, bugfixes definately, along with some minor tweaks if it feels appropariate, but not major overhauls will be done at this time.

» 1080p Overhaul UI Plus Compatibility Patch
» While originally built for the excellent Dark UI mod, this compatibility patch will allow you to use this mod with Planetary Diversity or Reworked Planetary Diversity.
» While a classical mod, the Color Coded Pop Status Icons Mod IS NOT needed for this UI overhaul, nor will it work, as this mod overwrites the same file to make the same icons match the Mass Effect color palette.


A special thank you to ButtJunkie for helping me discover and alter some of the harder-to-find areas of the UI and allow me to use his excellent «Alternative Icons» mod as a resource to speed up the process of making the new colored ethics, civics, and trait icons.

This is an optional Mass Effect Civilisations: Asari module that enables spawning of the Asari Republics as an AI empire (unless a player is playing it) when starting a new game.

Adds animated effect of purple light pulsation occasionally emerging from the heads of humans, and default humanoids, when they become psionics.

Taking Mind Over Matter will add the effect only to the leaders with the psionic trai.

Adds cybernetic versions of humans, default humanoids and several other species portraits and applies them whenever a pop or leader of appropriate species receives a cybernetic trait.

Leaders will preserve their original phenotyp.

With this simple mod vanilla unique solar systems will be in every game.

Dlc systems like leviathans, enclaves and so will be in every game if you have needed dlc.

This mod adds two new systems that randomly spawn on Galaxy Generation. Each system contains a ruined ecumenopolis that you can restore, much like the systems containing ruined megastructures. This version has a 100% spawn chance.

The SCX series has been discontinued as of March 17 2020. SCX Core and its modules are incompatible with Stellaris 2.6.0 and above and will not receive any further updates.
