Бездна (англ. Abyss) — это мерзкое, кровавое измерение.

Камень измерения Бездны может быть получен, если Вы призовёте иссушителя в Незере, имея в инвентаре пустой камень измерения.
Генерация [ ]
Ландшафт Бездны — это комбинация гор и равнин. Подземелье сделано из камня Бездны со слоем травы наверху. Ткань измерения находится в самом низу. В Бездне нет земли. Всё измерение состоит из красных оттенков.
Подземелье Бездны наполнено пещерами. Залежи Кровавой руды могут быть часто найдены под землёй. Глубоко под землёй, близко к бедроку, могут быть найдены озёра, заполненные токсичными блоками.
Поверхность бездны заполнена деревьями и кроваво-красными растениями.

The Realmstone to this dimension can be obtained by spawning a Wither in the Nether while holding a Blank Realmstone.
Properties [ ]
There is no day/night cycle in Abyss. Respawn anchors and beds both work in Abyss, the latter works despite the absence of a day/night cycle. Maps function properly in Abyss. Clocks do not spin wildly, but are instead frozen at high noon, despite the lack of a sun.

Abyss has no special properties.
Generation [ ]
The landscape of the Abyss is a combination of hills and flat areas. The underground of the dimension is made of abyssal stone, with a layer of abyssal grass on the surface. Dimensional Fabric exists at the bottom of the world. There is no dirt in the Abyss. The entirety of the dimension takes on a red color scheme.
The underground of the dimension is filled with caves. Bloodstone ore veins can be commonly found generating underground in the Abyss. Lakes filled with toxic blocks can be found deep underground, far below the surface, close to bedrock layer.
The surface of the Abyss is dotted with trees and gore-based plants and foliage.

 | Jawe Hut | Jawe Huts are cage-like structures that contain spawners for the Jawes. Jawes can only be hurt if the player’s Hunter experience is level 33 or higher. |
 | Shadowlord Platform | Shadowlord Platforms are short outposts composed of Bloodstone Bricks and contain a Shadow Altar on the top. The boss Shadowlord can be fought here by using a Book of Shadows on the Altar. |
 | Wither Rune Shrine | The Wither Rune variant of the Rune Shrine can also spawn in the Abyss. |
The mobs in the Abyss have a bloody, macabre and monstrous feeling. There are 9 mobs in the Abyss. Out of those 9, two spawn in structures, and three of are hunter mobs.

Каждый шаг напоминает прыжок в пустоту, ведь впереди лишь мрак, развеиваемый некоторыми растениями и блоками. И уж какие ужасы поджидают впереди – не разгадает ни один провидец.
Наполнение и вселенная
Погружение в глубины модификации The Abyss Project начинается с крафта книги (Guide Book) и подготовки листка для расшифровки содержимого страниц виртуальной энциклопедии. Внутри содержатся рекомендации по сбору новых материалов, разработке инструментов и брони, использованию портала, ведущего в новую вселенную.
Собираются и листок, и книга из пары ингредиентов (понадобится пергамент, жемчуг края, кусочек золота и цветки Loran, разбросанные по миру модификации).
После сборки предметы появляются в инвентаре и становятся доступны для использования через правую кнопку мыши. Как действовать дальше – подскажут исписанные странными символами страницы, таящие массу секретов и тайн, ведущих в бездну…
Как установить
Перед запуском The Abyss Project стандартную версию песочницы необходимо дополнить с помощью инструментария Minecraft Forge, устанавливаемого через отдельный дистрибутив. Перед распаковкой файлов важно выбрать статус пользователя – клиент или сервер.
Когда Forge станет доступен для использования, останется распаковать файлы The Abyss Project в директорию «C:\Users\…\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\». В момент запуска Minecraft в лаунчере понадобится версия с Forge, иначе модификация не повлияет на вселенную виртуальной песочницы.
Что интересного?
Кроме того, в моде добавлена новая система уровней, которая делает поездку в Бездну более интересной. Побеждать элитных мобов можно только благодаря большим усилиям в повышении уровня. На следующем этапе приобретение новых комплектов брони является обязательным условием для завоевания Бездны. Для начала игрокам нужно будет создать Путеводитель по бездне. чтобы узнать все об их древних рецептах, включая секрет портала.

The Abyssal Wasteland is the first dimension added in Abyssalcraft.

The following mobs populate the Abyssal Wasteland:
Overview [ ]
The sky is light green (if one is under the effect of a night vision potion, the sky will have a bright green color), but the world is shrouded in darkness, along with not having a day/night cycle.
Once the player has entered the Abyssal Wasteland, they can leave through the portal they came from.
If the player dies, they will respawn in the Overworld.
Traveling to The Abyssal Wastelands [ ]
In singleplayer, the player must collect enough materials to craft a Gateway Key, which requires:
The key can then be used to create a portal by right-clicking on the ground. If the player desires to leave The Abyss, they must walk through a portal (like in the Nether).
It is also recomended that the player bring the Staff of Rending, so he can keep enemies away while haversting Abyssal Essence, needed for the upgrade of the Necronomicon
Abyss-affected items [ ]
Like in The End and the Nether, compasses and clocks won’t work at all in the Abyss.
This is the only dimension where the Powerstone Tracker works.
