World Color | Edit the text color of your world! | Fast and easy!

World Color is a program coded in Java by Jumping Rubies (CrispingChicken) and can be used to edit the color of your Minecraft world. If you don’t understand what i mean by this, check out some of the images. Effectively what this program does is change the text color of your world. This is only visible via singleplayer but makes your world look a load cooler. You can show this off to your friends and also link them to this post if you would like to.
What’s so different about each version?
World Color Music has a Minecraft song remix in the background and is can be a nicer environment to edit in. Although it being nice, it has a downside, the song is quite large and takes 50MB of space which can be annoying for some to download. It is also more demanding than the other versions so if your working on a not so great laptop it may lag. This is being worked on so that the song will be smaller file size and less demanding to play.
World Color Default is the same as ‘World Color Music’ accept it does not have music. This means you wont have to worry about controlling your sound levels or quickly pressing mute when you start up the program. This version is supported better for low-end computers. This version still contains the JumpingRubies intro and Logo.
World Color Plain is just the editor itself, no extra pictures or content, so it’s most efficient and takes the least file size. This version does not contain any sounds/images but still works fine to edit your world.
Future Versions
Future versions will contain fixes to any bugs. Please leave a comment if you have found a bug.
The next big update (Which is in a while) will contain multiple support like being able to edit more than 10 worlds and being able to reset, underline, add bold effect and add the ‘random’ effect with scrolling letters. You will also soon be able to rename your worlds from the editor, at the same time as coloring them. Please look out for updates and show some support in the comments 🙂

С момента выхода версии Майнкрафт 1.11.2 прошло уже почти пол года и вот наконец вышла долгожданная версия 1.12 под кодовым названием «World of Color Update», которое дословно переводится как «Мир обновленных цветов». Изначально обновление планировалось на 2 июня 2017, но позже его перенесли на 7 июня. Как вы уже поняли из названия большая часть нововведений связана с палитрой блоков. Было добавлено три новых блока: бетон, цемент и глазурованная плитка, которые имеют 16 различных цветов.
Было добавлено 2 новых моба: попугай и иллюзионист. Попугаев можно приручить с помощью зерен, а также сажать их себе на плечо. Попугаи не имеют детенышей, но могут имитировать звуки других мобов. Будьте осторожны, если вы решите покормить своих попугайчиков печеньем, то они погибают. Что касается иллюзиониста, то у него есть специальная способность, которая позволяет создавать иллюзии (своих двойников) и позже атаковать вас из лука.
Кроме всего этого была доработана система достижений, добавлена книга рецептов, подсказки для новичков, новые звуки, команды и многое другое.

Color your world майнкрафт
Travel across the complex rocky cliffs of the Grey Mountains into the clean and controlled city of B&W to meet up with your love waiting for you. Interact with the environment, solving puzzles and leaving a small trail of colour as you run, jump and even travel by Skytrain to explore this world.

So, this sequel to Colour My Heart (which you SHOULD play before this) is considerably larger and more detailed. I spent a LOT more time working on this one, with a new (but still not perfect) physics code and a lot more detail in the artistic landscape. The game is considerably longer to beat as well, and I have taken into consideration some user input.
Controls are simply use the arrow keys to move, with Up to jump, and interact with objects by clicking them with the mouse. Interactable objects are identifies with a little sparkle. Also, hover over signs to read them. Right-Click to access in-game menu, including going back to Main Menu.
Please note that there is a slight glitch with the physics, and can rarely teleport the player around a little. Although very uncommon, I have taken precautions to send the user back to the Main Menu upon teleporting off-stage.

Formatting codes
A book showing the possible formatting options with the character that performs them.
Formatting codes (also known as color codes) add color and modifications to text in-game.

Usage [ ]
In Bedrock Edition, formatting codes persist after a color code. Furthermore, if an obfuscated code is used and a reset code is not used before the end of the line, the client GUI continues to obfuscate text past the MOTD and into the version number display.
Color codes [ ]
Hex digit to color mapping. Use «§» followed by the corresponding color letter/number; e.g. «§e» gives yellow.
Messages sent from the server to the client can contain color codes, which allow coloring of text for various purposes.

The random characters placed after §k are always the same width as the original characters. For example, any random character cycled through where the letter «m» would be wide characters while any random character in the spot of an «i» would be narrow characters.
Typing [ ]
Alternatively in Bedrock Edition, the character can be copied from this page ( § ) and Ctrl + V (Windows) or ⌘ Cmd + V (macOS) can be pressed to paste the character into a book. Note that pasting does not work on everything (e.g. chat, command blocks, world names) and using the JSON format or another method may be necessary.

Additionally, the player can rename the world’s folder to contain one of the codes. In the world selection menu, the specified color or effect appears.
In Bedrock Edition, the player is allowed to use a § inside of the world name when creating the world. This allows for using custom colors and formatting codes inside of the world name without having to modify the game.
