This mod is the continuation of Pozine’s RSS Planets & Moons Expanded Mod. It adds more stuff to RSS: In the current version (0.14.0): Retextures Saturn; Adds a heightmap for Iapetus; Does something to Uranus’s initial orbit; Adds Asteroids (Asteroid Belt/Kuiper Belt/Elsewhere): Vesta; Juno; Ceres; Pallas; Ida; Dactyl; 67P (Where Rosetta went and Philae landed(; Lutetia; Orcus; Vanth (its moon); Makemake; Chariklo; Halley; Sedna; Moons of Jupiter: Metis; Adrastea; Amalthea; Moons of Saturn: Pan; Daphnis; Hyperion; Pheobe; Pandora; Prometheus; Epimetheus; Janus; Moons of Uranus: Titania; Miranda; Ariel; Umbriel; Oberon; Moon of Neptune: Proetus; Moons of PlutoCharon: Styx; Nix; Kerberos; Hydra;

Never heard of KSP? Where have you been?! In KSP, you must build space-worthy craft, capable of flying your crew out into space, without killing them. At your disposal are a collection of parts, which must be assembled to create a functional ship. Each part has its own function and will affect the way a ship flies (or doesn’t). So strap yourself in, and get ready to try some Rocket Science!

Before I uninstall this, I would like to ask if it is at all possible to get in to orbit as I have spent 12 hours trying.
Built ever type of rocket my largest was 20 stages 100 rockets using heavy rocketry and I never made orbit beit 100.000m
When using ever cheat knowen to man I did make orbit and got it a perfect circle ap and pe at 300 th M but that never lasted either as the orbit got smaller and smaller until the space craft when back to the ground??
Um why not watch Scott Manley tutorials. Also the reason your not going anyway is cause you have so many stages. You should be able to get to Duna and back with 3 stages.
Well. there is no Duna with RSS. and your not getting to the Moon with 3 stages using that mod.

Are you running any other mods along with RSS? or just trying it out with stock parts?
RSS on its own is not so great. adding the stock tweakscale MM(or procedural tanks mod works too), and the RealFuels mod will really make RSS more practical and more fun.
And yes, it is around 130Km the atmo drops off. so if ya made it to 100Km that was not orbit, hence it degraded.
Thanks, I did start small and build up over the 12 hours I tried, I looked at scotts videos but never saw one that said was dome with RSS.
If any one has a knowen configuration that works let me know thanks

200 hrs with stock ksp and now 12 hrs with RSS going to uninstall it, not worth my time, Id rather build and enjoy stock ksp than put any more time in to RSS

Unfortunately, RSS tweaks the numbers (atmo, gravity, size) to such a degree that stock Kerbal parts just aren’t up to the task. RSS really only works if you install the entire Realism Overhaul suite, with all it’s dependancies. Which includes new engines and fuels that are far, far stronger than any of the Kerbal parts (yeah, vanilla parts are far weaker than real-life counterparts). I assume you’re using CKan to perform the installations, it’ll know everything that Realism Overhaul needs.
Unfortunately, Realism Overhaul changes so much that aeroplanes become impossible to fly. Apparently a necessary sacrifice in order to make rocketry work realistically. For me, no planes is a deal-breaker, but YMMV.

Real Exoplanets (REX) is planet pack that adds several confirmed exoplanets into KSP. As the name implies, all of these exoplanets are real, and all of the planetary systems are located exactly where they are in real life. All of the planets have accurate characteristics and the visual appearance of all exoplanets are based off of our current understanding of planetary science (as well as some artistic license when necessary ). Real Exoplanets is compatible with both Real Solar System and the stock, default solar system. With RSS, REX is properly scaled by a factor of 10.
FOR USE WITH REAL SOLAR SYSTEM:
1) Dependencies (install these before Real Exoplanets)
2) After REX’s dependencies have been installed, install Real Exoplanets by extracting the «RealExoplanets» and «REX-Textures» files into the KSP GameData folder.
3) (Optional) In order for visuals to function, you must install RSSVE.
