Что мы знаем о серии Force Unleashed? Это культовая серия, состоящая из двух частей, которая была выпущена LucasArts. К сожалению не так давно её бесподобный сюжет признали неканоничным. Всё из-за того, что зловещая сила под названием Дисней приобрела права на продолжение вселенной Звёздных войн. И вместо заветных Юужань-вонгов, Килликов и противостояния с Дарт Крайтом мы получили… проще говоря, не то, что ожидали. В топку ушёл и отличный сюжет, посвящённый борьбе Старкиллера, тайного ученика Дарта Вейдера, за Светлую Сторону Силы.
Игра погружала нас в удивительный и прекрасный мир Звёздных войн. В первой части мы сражались на Тёмной Стороне долгие часы, а потом понимали, кто есть кто, и быстро переходили на сторону Альянса Повстанцев и снова сражались, сражались, сражались… До самой погибели. Во второй части действующим лицом выступает клон того самого Старкиллера, в который вернулась душа убитого Джедая. Вторая часть вышла куда короче, чем её предшественница в 2009 году, но отличным геймплеем не обделила.
Жалко правда, что продолжения всего этого мы не увидим. Дисней признал все старые вариации фанфиками, так что вся история Старкиллера попросту ушла в небытие. Однако для моддеров нет ничего невозможного. База моддинга для этой игры не слишком разрослась, но всё же имеется. Большинство модов для FU2 посвящены в основном новым костюмам и персонажам, но и это уже кое-что. Давайте рассмотрим наиболее крупные из всех имеющихся модификаций.
УСТАНОВКА МОДОВ
Моды на Force Unleashed 2 устанавливаются по-разному, но некоторые и через Steam, соответственно и ссылки на их скачивание с Moddb страниц временами ведут на Steam Community. Перед тем как устанавливать какой-либо мод, тщательно читайте инструкции. Для установки некоторых модов есть даже видео-туториалы, которые также можно найти на страницах Moddb.

This is edited save file wich will allow you to play as Darth Vader in main story mode in Star Wars The Force Unleashed on PC!
This is a edited save file which allow you to play as Darth Vader in any mission in PC version of
Star Wars The Force Unleashed. You can play as Darth vader using his lightsaber moves, but
you can’t use his force choke move and you can’t dash. And if you press dash button, then he
will stuck on one place, until you press attack button. Also you can’t do double jump, which
makes difficult to play through some levels, but instead of that, you can do high force jump by
pressing quickly jump button twice. Also Quick Time Events are not working properly, and
druing any Quick Time Events, Darth Vader will stand on one place, while you pressing some
buttons which shown on your screen, to complete certain Quick Time Event.
Just copy Swtfu.bin file to My Documents/Aspyr/Star Wars The Force Unleashed and replace it
if it asks you to do it.
Launch the game and go to LOAD GAME menu. From there, load first slot with mission on Felucia,
and from there you can play as Darth Vader. Now, you can do what you want. You can select any
mission from Pause Menu, any lightsabre for Darth vader etc.
Any problems with this mod?
Yes, there is a few problems.
You can’t play as Darth Vader in DLC missions, and after completing some main story line missions,
sometime game will reset itself, which will reset Darth Vader back to Starkiller. Because of that,
you will start next mission as Starkiller and not as Darth Vader. I recommend you to not fully
complete certain mission which you currently playing, and when you reach the end of a certain
level, then just go back to pause menu and select next mission manually, to avoid from been reset back
to Starkiller.
Will this mod work for newer GOG version of the game or any old one?
I tested it on newer GOG version, so yeah, it will work 100%! But, i don’t know about any other old
version of this game.

How to install and use:
1. Download this file.
2. Unpack it in to My Documents/Aspyr/Star Wars The Force Unleashed/
3. Start the game, go to LOAD GAME menu and load first slot with mission of Felucia. After it loaded and you see that you started this mission as Darth Vader, from this point, you can select any other mission and play it as Darth Vader.
WARNING! This mod isn’t perfect, which means that there is a lots of bugs. For example, Darth Vader can’t do any QTE normally, so instead of doing stuff he will just stand there, without any reaction on your buttons while QTE is happening. Also he doesn’t have a double jump, but he has a long high jump, which i don’t remember how to do but, you can figure it out. Also you can’t play any DLC mission as Darth Vader, and sometimes, when you beat certain mission, the game will reset you back to Starkiller, which means that next mission that you will be switched to, you will play as Starkiller and not Darth Vader. So i recommend to not fully beat the mission you are currently playing, and when you reach to the final segment of the mission, just pause the game and select next mission, to avoid been reset back to Starkiller. And the last thing that you should know is that, Darth Vader’s chocke doesn’t work for some reason. So don’t try to perform it, or else he will freeze on the place and will do a moonwalk, which you can cancel by pressing some buttons.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: place the tfuvader.PK3 file in your C:\programfiles\lucasarts\jediacademy\gamedata\base directory.
DESCRIPTION: This is Darth Vader from TFU.
I came across Angelmodder’s Darth Vader after being told it contained a TFU Vader. After scanning
the download, there was no actual screenshot of the TFU Vader, but after downloading and checking
the model textures, it did exist.
So I then attempted to use the mod as it was intended, by choosing the head, legs, torso of Vader in
the menu of singleplayer in a new game.
However upon game load, everything was a mess! The parts that were supposed to be invisible were
white and there were parts that were invisible.
Also to note that Angelmodder’s Darth Vader does NOT come with premade NPC files.
So I obtained Angelmodder’s permission to seperate the TFU Vader from his download as a standalone
I have patched up the texture problems and fixed some textures that had particles that were not needed.
Also I have included an NPC file for that singleplayer support.
There are 2 versions of the TFU Vader as seen in the screenshot.

On top of that I have included BRAND NEW VADER SOUNDS, so he sounds much better in combat.
